Fulham defender/midfielder
Martin Djetou |
Fulham have announced Martin Djetou will be a Fulham player for another season.
The Cottagers have agreed terms with Djetou and Italian club Parma to extend the defender/midfielder's loan agreement.
It was said that personal terms had been agreed and that the contract is expected to be signed this week.
Djetou arrived last summer, July 2002, and made his debut for Fulham in October, coming on as substitute against Southampton at St Mary's Stadium. The 29-year-old scored one goal for Fulham last season in the 1-0 home win against Leeds United.
Fulham Football Club's CEO, Bruce Langham, commented:
"It must have been frustrating for Martin not to make an immediate impact when he first joined the Club as he was recovering from a knee injury. He still managed to make 30 appearances and coped extremely well with the physical demands of playing in the Premiership which was a new experience for him. We are delighted to have secured his services for a further year."
