Fulham Football Club are the top club in the Nationwide league.

CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS.

Fulham v Sheffield United - Sunday
It is difficult to decide what was worse, Sheffield United, the Ref or Fulham. Yesterday's rain, despite overnight covers left the pitch soft and soggy. We were not able to move the ball as sweetly as we have and with Sheffield United game plan of putting an assassin each of our midfielders and strikers the game was a poor show to put before the paying spectators and Sky viewers.

The Ref provided the visitors with the usual assistance turning a blind eye to tackles from behind, shirt pulling on strikers and the worst exhibition of time wasting seen at Craven Cottage for some time. Two Sheffield United players got upset with each other and had a punch up in front of every one. What did the Ref do? He waved to the Sheffield United bench to sub one of the players who had already been yellow carded and that was the end of it!!!! The Ref did not ensure a draw but he did not do a good job and was keen to give Sheffield United more benefit of the doubt than Fulham.

We had two chances in the second half from KarlHeinz Riedle and Luis boa Morte that might have gone in on another day but the smaller than normal crowd was virtually silent as it shuffled out into a grey damp winter Sunday evening in West London.

The Mighty Whites are 10 points clear with 16 games to go COME ON YOU WHITES

First Division - Saturday
Birmingham and Watford won their Saturday games but Bolton, West Brom and Blackburn all drew so not an unpleasant set of results for Fulham.

Say ... We are top of Division One after nearly two thirds of the campaign, have lost only three games, have the best goal difference in Western European football and have the leading scorer of the Premier and Nationwide leagues.
