Derby manager George Burley has been hit by a double suspension whammy ahead of the Rams' FA Cup fourth-round replay clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Rams skipper Ian Taylor misses the game after his dismissal during last week's 3-2 victory over Brighton at Withdean.
Burley, who described referee Fred Graham's decision to send off Taylor as "absurd" was contemplating an appeal against the red card but then had second thoughts.
The Pride Park boss said: "We're not entirely happy with the decision and feel our captain was dealt with a bit harshly, but it's not worth risking having him out for more than three matches so we'll accept the punishment."
And Tom Huddlestone collected his fifth caution of the season against the Seagulls meaning he too will miss the Fulham tie while serving a one-game ban.
Fulham have no similar suspensions for the Derby game.
