Boa Morte to get contract |

Fulham manager Jean Tigana is preparing
a long-term contract for Luis Boa Morte after he underlined his importance
to the club on Saturday.
Boa Morte came off the bench to score his 17th goal of the season and
now Fulham realise they must find a way of keeping the on-loan striker
next year.
At present his loan from Southampton runs out in June and there is already
talk of him moving to Portugal. But Fulham are putting together a package
to keep him at Craven Cottage, with his team-mates urging him to stay
as well.
Midfielder John Collins said: "Luis is very important to us. At Gillingham
their game-plan from the kick-off was to stop us from getting the ball.
But when you’ve got the pace that we’ve got we always manage to get behind
team.
"Luis came on with a fresh pair of legs and he’s got so much energy and
pace. When someone like that comes on it’s a great boost for us. He caused
them all sorts of problems."
