Fulham fan favourite Jimmy Bullard has revealed he will hold contract talks with Fulham in the New Year.
The midfielder has battled back from a career threatening injury and is an integral player for The Cottagers.
There were suggestions, though, that he could have been sold over the summer as the likes of Bolton and his former club Wigan were reported to be interested.
Talk has surfaced that Everton could lodge a bid for Bullard in January, but the 29-year-old is hopeful of thrashing out a new deal at Craven Cottage.
"I love Fulham to bits and I want a new contract," said Bullard.
"The club have said they will speak about it again in January and that's good news."
