From prices as low as third favourite at 7/4 Bookies are now quoting The Cottagers as big as 12/1 with nine teams seen as being more likely for the drop.

However Leicester following their beating at Fulham on the weekend and the bottom four in the Premiership all winning, Leicester have been cut to 2/5 for the drop by Hills.

Wolves are still strong 1/4 favourites for the drop despite beating Manchester City while Portsmouth are now third in the betting at 7/4 after their 2-1 home defeat by Charlton.

Bolton remain 3rd joint favourites for the drop at 2/1 after they picked up a point with a battling 1-1 draw at Aston Villa on Sunday.

Both Charlton and Spurs are viewed as closer to relegation than Fulham being priced as short as 11/4 and 7/1 respectively.
