Bolton Wanderers are reported to have opened talks with Fulham over The Cottagers midfield schemer Jimmy Bullard.
Bolton Wanderers have made no secret of their long-standing admiration for Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard.
Bullard has impressed at Fulham since moving from Wigan in 2006 and the creative midfielder has forced his way into England manager Fabio Capello's plans
Only last summer were the Trotters courting the Englishman - recently called up to Fabio Capello's England squad - and Gary Megson cemented the club's interest with two firm bids, both of which were rejected.
Megson though has not let last summer's events put him off as the 29-year old is yet to commit his long-term future to the Cottagers, and has returned to the fold with a winter window bid, expected to be in the region of £5 million.
Bolton have been looking to bolster their squad in order to ensure that they do not fall trap to a relegation battle during the business end of the season.
Arsenal have also recently been linked with the 29-year-old as manager Arsene Wenger looks to bring experience to Emirates Stadium.
