Fulham manager Jean Tigana believes Fulham have a lot to learn
to rteach the top. |
|
Fulham boss Jean Tigana admitted the 4-1 defeat at Arsenal had revealed
the gap between the top four or five sides and those in mid-table.
Thierry Henry, scorer of two of the Gunners' goals, earned special praise
from Tigana, who coached the striker at Monaco for four years.
Tigana said: "He was very young at that stage and was often a substitute
as we also had Sonny Anderson and David Trezeguet.
"However, he has progressed very well since then. He has more experience
and confidence. He works hard every day in training and scores more goals
now."
Although Marlet equalised for Fulham after 10 minutes, they were never
really in contention and Tigana admitted: "There is a big difference
between the teams.
"I knew that before but I know it even better now. We gave the ball
away and had bad organisation. We have to learn from this."
