Raúl Jiménez has 19 goals and 3 assists in 62 appearances for Fulham in the Premier League in his career. 12 in the league and 2 in cup competition and yes he was our top scorer but at age 34 now it will be difficult to outdo that score again this coming season. I might well be wrong but i think we have to turn to Muniz this season and that is no guarantee. Another striker is needed after the departure of Vinicius. This is the prem and the prem is brutal and unforgiving. Take no chances, get in another striker because competition will be fierce...

They indeed deserve it , as if you break the rules you should be penalised. I’m not altogether sure every team is treat equally when it comes to financial fair play, but that just a feeling that teams appear to have got away with similar behaviour in the past.The fact is Chelsea gained a place in Europe at the expense of other teams by financial skullduggery. They should have been demoted and that’s from someone born next to Stamford Bridge and who has always supported Chelsea as my second team.

I'd suggest his loss is possibly greater given Jota has probably left his family very comfortably off, which may not be the case for a family who have lost their only bread winner. The likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini should take steps to ensure that when they sell a car the purchaser is able to able to handle it. There’s no need to have these very powerful engines outside the race track. I’d enforce speed limiters on all cars and make sure they cut out at 55 mph. Call it what you want they are nevertheless serving the fans self interest. We’re all out for ourselves after all. Doubtless the Kahns will sell it on in the future when circumstances demand, or they can turn a buck, but meantime they are creating a more valuable and attractive asset, whilst giving the fans a bit of long awaited success. It doesn’t matter if you have money in your left pocket or righthand pocket, your wealth remains the same as before. Also, £888M is not a ‘price’ he’s necessarily paid anyone. Whatever you pay for an £1 ordinary share is a market price. It could be £1, but it certainly doesn’t have to be. I seem to recall when Ken Bates bought Chelsea in the Seventies he paid £1 for the lot, such was the poor financial state of that club at that time, with its dismal record of debts and profitability.

Our crowds and season ticket prices are no where near the highest in the Premier League, but we are sneaking up to European qualification, and by no means certainties to go down each season. The Khan’s experience is accumulating to our good benefit. Jim Ratcliffe thought he could run a football club easy peasy, but Man U just sink further and further as he thrashes about. Will Daniel Levy get much more time at Spurs? They had better start pushing up the table soon.

If he charged the debt to the Club we would overspend by that amount, but if he converts it to shares that does not count. It is a legal device that most clubs do. If we become a top club by performance that club value will increase.

Don’t think the two players mentioned are a particularly good example of the Fulham academy, Elliot was barely with us a year and Stansfield was 26 when he joined. Most academy players don’t make it regardless of who they play for and the ones that do rarely do it with the club they were playing for as kids. It’s a gamble and the best clubs can hope for us to generate enough cash to keep it viable with the odd chance of developing a gem or nicking one off a smaller club like we did with Elliot and Stansfield.

Muniz has a marmite type of relationship with most of our fans, including myself. He was so bad when we loaned him out to Boro' that we didn't want him back and at the time, I would have driven him to the station. However, give the lad his due, and Marco and the coaching team for persisting with him, that he eventually turned out to be a pretty decent striker, and his scoring instincts gave us late wins against Newcastle and Chelsea, but at present, I would still describe him, as a decent striker, but he is open to improvement over the next couple of seasons, if he stays. The Finance Director says that we should snap their hands off, if we are offered £36k by Leeds. Providing we could get a striker like Solanki or someone of that standing, we might have a good deal, but my memory stretches back to a certain Alan Clark, that we sold to Leeds, many season's ago, and what a mistake that was, and we would have egg on our face if the same thing happened again. My marmite opinion now, is that we should keep him, with a new contract.

At the time, most fans were crying out for him to be sold and last season he showed a vast improvement and is learning to bully defenders. I believe it would be stupid to sell Muniz to anyone at present as he will be our main striker next season. We must not sell our best players but invest in four proven players from abroad or in the lower divisions.

The way how i see it, Muniz is capable of scoring picture-esque goals which look eye-catching and that is why a few clubs are looking at him. Yes he is still a raw talent and still learning. Maybe clubs like Leeds and Newcastle who we played against and beaten twice think they can get something more from Muniz that we didn't do. Marco Silva will weigh up the pro's and con's about Muniz. I suspect that Marco will try everything to keep Muniz because he feels he has natured him and there is more improvement to come. They say patience is a virtue and Marco Silva is a patient man. If here next season Muniz will have to hit the ground running and score more goals. Most Fulham fans have some patience but that will only stretch so far...

Last season we could beat anyone and loose to anyone so who knows. If we have a decent striker by then it it could be all different.
