Firstly Muniz came to our rescue in the dying seconds of a game that was lost at Brighton and he is capable of that many times over. There are many over rated and expensive strikers in this league that are on the same par as Muniz and they get better service. You have to weigh up the pro's and con's with Muniz and go with the stats for minutes on the pitch. The more Muniz is on the pitch i believe that he will get the goals that we crave but unfortunately, Marco is sometimes a touch impatient. Smith Rowe i think has got that goal poacher's instinct and we would like him to use it more often, we know he has it in himself. This game was suited to everything and everyone experienced and Smith Rowe for me should have featured and have preferential treatment over Josh King who has potential but lack the experience. They are a good side and a lot more cohesive, and we have more than Bruno Fernandez to think about. I say think instead of worry because when we come out firing on all cylinders, we can beat the best so maybe a high scoring game because we both play open and are a bit frail at the back. Marco Silva will know how to set up but our biggest problem last year was wasted chances and not taking them and we know what can happen if we don't! It should be a cracking game for the neutrals and yes' we are capable of nicking this but we need players such as Smith Rowe to turn up. The return of Sessegnon cannot come quick enough and he would settle my nerves no end if he is at least on the bench for this one...

He’s currently on ridiculously low salary like 350k a year. Probably one reason why so many clubs happy to pay £35m for him. I wonder what Fulham will offer him? 50k a week sounds like a reasonable number but I suspect Muniz will be pushing for a 100k a week!! If that happens, he will get a 15-20times pay rise!! I don’t have a problem with that!

At this stage of the season, of course it is impossible to know who will do what, who will win the title, or get relegated, but I was wondering to myself how our season will go. Last season was our record point scoring, and pretty challenging until we faded badly at then end, and I just don't see us getting anywhere near that this season. Of course I don't want us to be fighting at the bottom, but I can't see us escaping the bottom 10 for the whole season, with hopefully the possibility of a run in a cup or two, in other words an average season. That's fine with me, providing that we finish out of then bottom 3, which would be a disaster.

This one is difficult to predict, both teams will go at it at speed from the whistle. My main worry is Bruo Fernades at free kicks and, of course, their veteran left back Luke Shaw. Casimero can also turn it on but the longer matches go on he gets less involved.

How come we has signed only one player yet the TV companies are keen to show our matches. Could it be they expect our opposition to hammer us.

Watching a poor excuse of a Premier League match tonight between Leeds and Everton, Leeds were awarded a penalty for a handball that never was, and the referee was the one and only Khris Kavanagh, aided by VAR. Neither Leeds or Everton deserved to win the game, as they were both dreadful, but Leeds will take one of very few wins that they will have this season. If, as rumours suggest, Muniz departure to Atlanta is imminent then it will demonstrate those in charge are not interested in our future. They should have realised Muniz’s potential and tied him down on a long term contract with a decent wage. IF Munzi leaves for Italy he will regret not staying at the Cottage as Raul is probably now in his last season at this level and he could step into his position with easy. We need a No 6 urgently and perhaps another central defender of class.

Having watched the game slipping away from Fulham as the A narukralclock ticked towards the final seconds of stoppage time, my screen started buffering . By the time I regained the picture the game was over and I was convinced the game had been lost. Then my wife pointed out it finished 1-1 and even then I did not believe her r. However, I digress. Having been along time supporter of Muniz’s latent talent it is pleasing to see this young man developing into a full blown striker. I am confident he will score 15 goals this season increasing his value to around £60 mln. Fulham cannot attract players until we prove a greater of consistency and therefore, we must aim for a top eight finish. This will not happen if we sell our most valuable asset.

Very sad to hear a Brighton fan died at this afternoons match. Condolences and thoughts with his family, friends and Brighton FC. We have experienced tragic events like this and it is tremendously upsetting and puts everything into perspective.

The squad needs 4 new players . Today it was good to get an away point but we created very little and a more clinical Brighton missed at least a couple of easy chances . We hardly worked their defence , esp the keeper . Signing players once the season has started might work financially - but not always . It could be teams sense " desperation " and hike the price . Plus it is good to give new players time to blend in , expecting them to gel instantly is unrealistic . Roy Hodgson used to say northern Europeans adapted quicker , within 3/4 weeks . Latin players needs longer to get used to the physicality and conditions . So you might save something on the fee - maybe - but you may not get the best out of the new players until mid season . Full credit to the team today keeping going until the end , but we need to add options .
