Sometimes fixtures i think fall in good favour to the home team and Leeds played a injury hit and a no striker and rudderless Newcastle and i guess it was the right time to play Newcastle, i put Leeds down for a win but a good draw it was for Leeds. Leeds a very open in spaces at the back and Newcastle if they were switched on they might have nicked that game. I just think that Fulham at home should have too much for Leeds...

What was a mistake was Boris and Co failing to prepare fully and to capitalise on the opportunity that it offered . Successive leaders caving in to the EU, France in particular, has not helped matters. I think it was absolutely the right move but very poorly handled. What this actually has to do with Farage escapes me, he has not been in government to be able to influence matters. Starmer on the other hand will probably continue to be a liability. Boris did nothing wrong; he gave the people what they ask for and that was to leave the EU. Matters like this badly handled? How do you sort out Covid which which is a crisis we haven't encountered in 100 years never mind the EU. You name me one party in any government or anywhere in the world which could handle Covid properly. Leaving the EU came with challenges and one of the biggest is to going back to producing stuff like veg products ourselves etc which was always going to be difficult considering what the farmers are up against. We are trying in those areas of agriculture and there are good people doing works with good intent but not on a big enough scale, all these changes take time. You can't blame Boris for all this mess, it is impossible. Our biggest problem now is inactivity and paying people to sit and do nothing and there are 3 million and more not doing enough in this country. Too many low skilled people more than we need. Saying that, there are jobs in the chicken factory but not enough takers etc. Too many out of work people who have no skills and they are high maintanace and fussy and inactive from here and coming in.

Scotland are gradually shifting to Reform as well. I have to agree with you, that if there was an election today, there are not enough of their MP's for a large enough majority, so it would probably be only a slim one, but after a few more MP's move over from both the Conservatives and Labour parties, they should have enough for a working majority, in a General election, as Labour and the Conservatives really are toast now.

Spend a few days studying the purchases of other Clubs and see if we are good and bad in comparison. We are an established PL team and only need to buy players in areas we are weak. This is what has been done. Getting three player with a history of goal scoring seems to me a wonderful step forward and if we are lucky the sky is the limit.

Surely Marco would never have agreed to let Harry go, especially to Leeds, who would have ruined him. A big predicament for Marco for the rest of the season, is going to be who will be selected for the team, as our squad is so strong, at least on paper anyway, so maybe 3 or 4 of our squad, won't be able, even to sit on the bench, which for them, will be upsetting. When our opponents see the strength of our benches, it will put the fear of God into them. What a lovely situation for us though, for a change.

Popular with the fans or not, T George and transfer could be brought up again in the January transfer and again Harry Wilson could be the fall guy. I like Harry Wilson and he does have a knack of conjuring up some important goals in important minutes of the game. Saying that i don't see Harry Wilson as a 90 minute player and his stats these days say that Harry is more effective coming off the bench. I wanted us to keep Reise Nelson but logical thinking tells me that Kevin might have more scope and weapons and besides, Reise is injury prone. My biggest disappointment was the letting go of Godo for 6 million to Middlesboro? Kevin, Samuel and our 6ft 5 striker look decent acquisitions to our squad.

In the end, it was a really good transfer window for us, with our new additions, and apart from a couple of unwanted squad players, we have kept the team together, which should put us in for a European challenge again this season. One thing that comes to mind though, as there is plenty of criticism about our club scouts, but this time they have struck oil, as somebody must have scouted, Kevin, Chukwueze, and Kusi-Asare,they didn't just magically appear. Who had ever heard of Kusi-Asare, had you. So providing they turn out to be really good players, it's a big well done all round.

The Wilson debacle was a disgrace and our poor net spend and investment in the playing squad is a deep concern. Supporters need to look at the facts and not pontificate on how good Kevin might be or become. Notwithstanding an 18 year old Swede and Chukwueze are loan only.

But I did notice in a summary in this morning’s Guardian that Fulham could more likely regarded as ‘Window losers’. With so many clubs (Crystal Palace, Man U, Newcastle, Brentford etc) being torn apart with player’s antics, it’s nice to see Fulham manage to keep the squad happy. Must be encouraging to the players just joining. We are the window winners.

When you have a good squad and lose few of them all you need to do is improve it and that seems to be what we have done. Of course scoring in the Premier is more difficult than in any other league in the World. As a matter of course we see in every game defenders blocking shot and keepers saving them. Watch a Championship game and look how poor their defences seem in comparison, it is not just the quality of the players that is better it is the managers and all the support staff. Our new goal scores will have to come to terms with that. The tall young striker is the one I am looking forward to seeing, I think we have real bargain in him.

Last minute dealings with Wilson were nothing short of disgraceful. Time will tell but it is clear there has been very little financial investment this window and that is a big concern. But if you look at the transfers this summer, the inflation has gone through the roof. Wilson is staying. So 8 out of 10 for me on the acquisition and 5/10 on timing.

I disagree entirely, as in my opinion, we have done very well indeed, with three new signings, with the future, as well as this season in mind. Had we signed George I might have agreed with you, as that 22k, would have been money down the drain, as we all saw for ourselves how poor he was last Saturday. If they live up to their reputations our two new signings Kevin and Chucky will be great for us, and if the young lad from BM has actually signed, then we have done extremely well, as we have mainly kept our very good squad together, and thank goodness we turned down Leeds offer for our Harry. No The Reporter, unless I'm mistaken, I think our genuine fans will be very happy with the outcome of the transfer window.

They reported that the only incoming transfer was Lecomte, whereas the additions of Kevin, Chukwueze and Kusi-Asare, three exciting and skilful forwards, change the picture entirely. In my view, considering the incomings and outgoings, it has been an excellent window albeit, as usual with TK, last minute and stressful.

Great news from pgmol that Howard Webb has apologized to Fulham for mistake made by var and officials for disallowed goal. Fantastic after the day after 5he event and costing Fulham a possible three points, as long as it helped chelscum on the day to a win. The referee and var officials should be suspended for incompetence.

Bid decisions always go to the big teams especially at home , they always have . Referees are intimidated by large crowds . But VAR is administered by men in an office miles away from the ground with no intimidation , yet they over turn on field decisions by searching for possible reasons to aide the big teams. Maybe there is corruption when millions of pounds are at stake or is it a coincidence that the small teams get the raw end of the vast majority of these decisions.

The extra extra time in most matches is extended if something happens in extra time that makes it makes in necessary to extend. I did not see any such thing. When Chelsea took their corner the ref should have blown the whistle but he said to himself I might as well let them take the next corner or else the manager will complain. As far as their penalty is concerned, before Sess handled the ball, Iwobi has his foot trodden on, Anderson was pushed and a Chelsea player handled the ball. On another day we could have been leading at halftime and a young man on our side would not be feeling as bitterly disappointed as he must be now. Marco will do his best to get the player to move on from that travesty of a match but he will find it one of the most difficult things he has ever done as he feels the same as the players as does most of the media.

Remember Clive Thomas blowing the whistle as Brazil took the corner in 1978. They scored, he said no Boyo, whistles already gone. Can you imagine what would happen if someone did that today?

The automatic system that determines offside in VAR should be retained, nobody argues with that. Everything else should be scraped and the ref should be allowed to get on with his job mistakes and all. I cannot remember anything as bad as yesterday pre VAR. If a ref does not give a free kick or a penalty that should be the end of it.

System broke down because we are chasing the game 2-0 down after a decent enough effort and that's football sometimes. I personally only want players who want to come to Fulham and i only know of one in the pipeline but i am confident there are more players that will jump at a chance to come to London SW6. It is a nonsensical myth that players would rather go to Newcastle and up north and players know that they can't all sign for the big clubs. I have nothing to criticise until after 1st September because the transfer process is a little bit more complicated if say a player is on a massive wage like say 300 grand a week. We all know that we can't afford that and agreements surrounding contracts will have to be sorted, thats all i know which isn't much. Marco Silva still looks up for it and he loves Fulham. Silva has tasted and sampled bigger budgets and clubs and it has never worked out in his favour. He is paid 6 million plus which is not the top wage but it still is a fantastic sum of money for managing Fulham. Marco Silva is fast gaining a reputation for getting the best from average players so anyone who comes to Fulham is okay by me under Marco...

The big boys seem to have limitless amounts to spend on the field var seems contrived for the big boys to get the verdict if they have to dissect every little incident to attain it yesterday case in point ffc disallowed goal bad decision penalty I saw two handballs there neither should have stood ludicrous half time add on ( appranantly. Refs discretion that’s ok but seems when there’s not a corner involved they blow bang on time choice of refs questionable think this refs had his moments with us did not expect much from first 3 games so no disappointment on that front wish we could get some var luck hopefully ours season should get going in the next month still believe when we are on our game we can beat with luck anybody thought second half we was a bit subdued
