Wimbledon v Fulham squad news

last updated Friday 10th November 2000, 2:05 PM
Portuguese striker Luis Boa Morte returns to the Fulham squad as they look to regain top-spot.

Boa Morte has completed a suspension and was set to return against Sheffield United in midweek, but the game was postponed because of the bad weather.

Manager Jean Tigana has the enviable dilemma of selecting two strikers from Barry Hayles, Louis Saha and Boa Morte.

The Cottagers are still without long-term injury victims Karl-Heinz Riedle (neck), Simon Morgan (knee) and Terry Phelan (calf).

Boss Terry Burton welcomes back defender Darren Holloway for the visit of second-placed Fulham.

Holloway was suspended for the victory over Barnsley, but will be hoping to return to the starting line-up. Utility man Neal Ardley could make a surprise return to the team after a calf injury but Burton may decide not to risk him.

Talented striker Jason Euell may also be included after recovering from a knee injury, but lack of match practice may count against the 23-year-old.

Republic of Ireland international Kenny Cunningham is still a month away from a return due to a groin injury, while midfielder Michael Hughes will not be back until after Christmas as he continues his rehabilitation from a broken leg.

The Dons are in mid-table but will be looking to improve their home form, after recording just one win from their seven home games so far.
