Fulham Football Club are the
top club in the Nationwide league.
The Mighty White Machine went to
the seaside and it seems went on holiday as well.
Fulham let in a goal in the 10th minute and had a difficult time of it until
the Ref decided that one of the many fouls by Portsmouth players warranted a
penalty in the 78th minute. Louis Saha stepped up and slotted it away for his
9th penalty and 30th goal of the season.
We were unable to create any of the flowing football we are now known for and
there were a number of missed chances in front of goal
The Fulhamweb prediction
for the Portsmouth game was another 2-1 to the Cottagers with a crowd of 18250
the score was 1-1 with a crowd of 17651.
Blackburn slipped up with a 0-0 draw away at Wolves while Bolton managed a rare
home win against Norwich. So Blackburn are now just one point in front of Bolton
albeit with a game in hand. Come on Bolton, Come on Bolton.
Elsewhere QPR and Tranmere are relegated.
Say ... We are champions of Division One have only 4 games to go, have lost
only four games all season, have the best goal difference with the leading goal
scorer in the Premier and Nationwide leagues and will be playing in the Premiership
next season. Ho, ho, ho, he, he, he..............
