Fulham are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone during the current transfer window.
Martin Jol is keen to add further options to his squad after a poor run of results before Christmas which has seen them slip into the bottom half of the league.
Huddlestone first moved to Spurs from Derby back in 2005 when Jol was managing the north London club and it is clear that the Dutch manager is still a big fan of the classy central midfielder.
A report in the Daily Mail says that Fulham will attempt to convince Tottenham to part with the midfielder but it seems they may have to make a cash offer as Andre Villas-Boas is not interested in allowing Huddlestone to move on-loan.
The 26-year-old did feature in the first team earlier this season but has since fallen down the pecking order as he attempts to compete with the likes of Scott Parker, Sandro, Moussa Dembele and Gylfi Sigurdsson for a place in the starting line-up.
With the news that another midfielder, Lewis Holtby, will be arriving in the summer, it may be that Huddlestone would be interested in a move to secure regular first team football.
