Fulham boss Alvaro Arbeloa will be without Tom Cairney and Kenny Tete for the meeting with Manchester United, but Ryan Sessegnon has a chance of making the squad.

With Cairney still on the mend after surgery and Tete suffering a concussion against Liverpool, Sessegnon’s potential return comes as welcome news.

“Tom is still recovering,” Arbeloa confirmed in press. “Tete won't be available, after the ball hit him in the Anfield game.

“We need to see if Sess is available for Sunday. I think he will be training with us today, and we will have to make a decision later.”

With a much-changed Fulham impressing against West Ham United on Tuesday, our Head Coach was asked if any of the players have put themselves in contention for the weekend.

“I think all of them. All of them did their job, they play very well, and they made a very good effort.

“You see how César Palacios played, Kevin tried his best playing on the right, Hugo’s first game here with our shirt, the two centre-backs, Reedy, Ems – I'm so happy with all of them, because it's not easy when you are waiting for opportunity and you are not playing.

“When the opportunity comes, you need to give your best, but you are not playing every week, so it's not that easy for them. But the way that they play and the energy that they put in the game, I'm really proud of them.

“Obviously, Rodrigo scored a goal. I think he has scored more goals in five games this season than the entire season last year. I'm so happy for all of them.”

Fulham possible starting lineup:
Leno; Castagne, Affengruber, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Charles; Bobb, King, Iwobi; Garcia

Man United trio Manuel Ugarte (knee), Tom Heaton (thigh), Matthijs de Ligt (back) and Amad Diallo (ankle) are all missing until after the international break, but neither Luke Shaw nor Carlos Baleba (ankle) have been completely ruled out of the fixture.

The latter missed the defeats to Man City and Brighton with a minor thigh problem, albeit one which Carrick affirmed would only take a matter of days to resolve, so there is every chance he will return over Noussair Mazraoui.

Senne Lammens, Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes will be among those to return after being dropped to the bench in midweek, as Shea Lacey and Mason Mount make way despite finding the net in that loss.

Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Mainoo, Tielemans; Mbeumo, Fernandes, Cunha; Sesko
