Wolves are exploring a January move for Fulham winger Adama Traore, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League bottom club have turned their attention to their former star, 29, as they scour the market for attacking players.
Sources say Wolves are interested in either a straight loan for Traore or a loan with a view to it becoming permanent next summer.
Football Insider revealed back in November that ex-Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants to take Traore to West Ham, but it now appears that a return to Molineux could be on the cards this winter.
Traore has started just one league game for Fulham so far this term, and his former employers may now be about to launch a move to reunite with him in January.
Traore is out of contract at Fulham next summer, and that appears to have piqued the interest of the likes of West Ham, and now also Wolves.
The winger made 154 appearances in the famous old gold during his initial stint between 2018 and 2022, before adding a further 40 games during a loan spell in the 2022-23 campaign.
He could now be set to boost that tally even further if Edwards and Co. get their way in the January window.
Rob Edwards’ side are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table and are still searching for their first league win of the season as the Christmas period rapidly approaches.
