Fulham manager Marco Silva is hopeful over Harry Wilson’s fitness after the winger suffered an injury scare against Nottingham Forest.

The Cottagers beat Forest 1-0 on Monday night, thanks to a first-half penalty from Raul Jimenez, but there was concern over Wilson following a challenge on Neco Williams late on in the game.

Wilson, who has three goals and three assists in his last five Premier League games, required medical attention after appearing to injure his knee. He attempted to carry on playing for a few minutes before being substituted for Adama Traore in the 84th minute.

Speaking after the game, Silva said: "It looks like he's going to be OK. I think it was like a big knock there, it was not something that he twisted but now it’s, of course, painful.

"But let’s see, tomorrow we have a session, we are going to assess the players from tonight and see how he’s going to heal."

Fulham are in good recent form, winning four of their last seven games in all competitions, and Wilson has been crucial to that.

He is enjoying an excellent season and has five goals and three assists in 14 league starts.

Silva will be hoping the knock was nothing serious and that the Welshman will be ready to play against West Ham this weekend.

Fulham are now 13th in the league, moving above Tottenham, whilst West Ham are in miserable form and have slumped to 18th in the table.
