Fulham manager Chris Coleman was despondent after his side bowed out of the FA Cup.

The Whites went down 1-0 at Bolton, with Kevin Davies firing home the winner in the first half.

Coleman felt his charges could even have won the game at The Reebok Stadium.

"I am gutted," he said.

"We bossed the game and I thought we did enough to win it.

"Bolton are a good team but we outplayed them and my players are very disappointed.

"If we keep performing like that in our remaining league games then we should be all right."

Bolton Manager Sam AllardyceBolton Manager Sam Allardyce praised the strength of his squad after seeing them overcome Fulham 1-0 in their FA Cup fifth round tie.

The Trotters are now in the last eight after Kevin Davies's goal after 12 minutes handed them victory.

Allardyce admits that he is delighted to finally have strong options in his squad.

"I am very pleased that for the first time in my life as a manager whatever players I bring in it doesn't detract from those I leave out," he said.

"Everyone is asking me what my strongest team is and I can't tell you.

"Whenever I change it the team is as strong as before, in fact sometimes we are better.

"We are 10 games undefeated now and conceded only four goals in that spell which is a magnificent achievement."
