Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has reaffirmed his loyalty to the west London club, despite the reports that continue to link him with a possible move across the capital to Arsenal.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger confirmed last week that his club were certainly considering the Norwegian as a potential recruit, but the player, currently away with his national squad preparing for their World Cup qualifier with Scotland this week, maintains that he is going nowhere just yet.
"There's been a lot of speculation over the summer and my policy is to comment as little as possible, because the more you say the more speculation there is" .
"So you really have to talk to my agent about that. I'm keen on playing football and doing my job on the pitch.
"That's something I'll think about if that comes about. Right now I'm concentrating on doing a good job for Fulham, and for Norway obviously when we play on Wednesday.
"You can try and rephrase it as many times as you want, but I'll [only] comment on that if it happens."
As for whether he was happy at Craven Cottage, Hangeland concluded by affirming that he was happy with Fulham, and that he was in no hurry to move elsewhere.
"I've said all the time, I've had a great time in the 18 months I've been there. It's a great club, so I'm in no rush to go anywhere," he stated.
