Player description
Having caught the eye while playing for Portsmouth, Ryan Williams joined Fulham in January 2012.
The Australian winger brings determination, pace and skill to either flank. He is arguably most effective when going on the outside and delivering crosses into the box.
On 14th February 2013, he joined League Two side Gillingham on a 28-day loan deal, while he gained further experience when he was selected to represent Australia at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Ahead of the 2013/14 season, Williams joined Oxford United on loan until 1st January 2014 and impressed sufficiently to see the deal extended until the end of the season. He scored eight goals in his 42 appearances in all competitions with the U's.
Upon his return to Fulham, he penned a new two-year deal - keeping him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2016 - with the Club holding an option to extend the contract by a further 12 months.
On 2nd October 2014, he joined League One outfit Barnsley on a one-month emergency loan deal.
Williams joined Barnsley in a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee on 26 July 2015,
