Player description
Having enjoyed success in his early years with the Club, striker Cauley Woodrow is now looking to make an even greater impact.
A creator and taker of goals, the England youth international became a key player as the Under-18s were crowned national champions twice in two years. Playing his part, Woodrow was a regular source of inspiration showing a mature and advanced understanding of the game.
He tasted senior first-team football at a tender age with former club Luton Town, where he also became the first non-league player since 1974 to win a full England age-group cap. Highly-rated, he signed a contract with Fulham until 2016 to ensure that he will be playing his football in SW6 for some time to come.
On transfer deadline day, 2nd September 2013, Woodrow went on a one-month loan to Southend United which was later extended by a further month.
He was recalled from this loan in January 2014, and made his debut for the Fulham First Team in our 3-1 defeat to Cardiff City five weeks later. His season finished on two positive notes when he scored his first goal for the Club on the final day of the campaign against Crystal Palace, before being called up to the England Under-21 squad.
A regular squad member in 2014/15, Woodrow ended the campaign with five goals to his name, and signed a contract extension in the summer until June 2018, with a Club option for a further year.
The 2015/16 season saw the striker score four times and claim one assist in 17 appearances, ending the campaign with an impressive minutes per goal ratio of 112.3.
In January 2017, he joined fellow Championship outfit Burton Albion, alongside Fulham teammate Lasse Vigen Christensen, and in the summer joined Bristol City on a season long loan deal.
