Another Welsh International
defender, Alan had more than his fair share of injury
problems last season after a promising start to his Craven
Cottage career. Signed for £225,000 from Southampton Alan
is a steady ball winner and a good passing player who
can always be relied upon to put in a good display. Spent
most of his time in the reserves last season, but will
no doubt be hoping to make a bigger impact this term.
