I just read with interest that the bitch Reeves has claimed £4,400 in government expenses to heat her second home. Can this be true?? I can’t believe that so many people fell for Labour BS. I agree with means testing winter fuel payments but at least make the income threshold the same as minimum wage.

Think it’s £2400. Its quite easy to check on the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) website. Labour: It’s alright when we do it.

MST it was £3,700 over 5 years and she stated she has two homes to look after, implying she will continue to claim energy costs. You must understand it is difficult for her to manage on a pittance. However, as far as I know her official residence is No. 11 Downing Street, with Dorneywood a Grace and Favour house near Burnham Beeches, which she has use of when she is not too busy. This residence is set in beautiful National Trust Land. I suspect both residences are paid for by you and me.

Excluding her wages, this is what she’s billed us since 2020. Bear in mind her husband is a top civil servant working in Downing St currently earning £160,000. 2023to 2024

We(not me!!)elected Labour in OZ 2 years ago.
Big mistake!
All of you voters who voted Labour, they NEVER change their spots, so sadly there is worse to come!
We have an election next May,when hopefully we can kick Labour into the sea.
I am originally from London( went to Henry Compton) and I go back to Harold Wilson days.

Had to laugh at starmers Arsenal back hander that free box costs a fortune a year times that by god knows how many years would keep thousands of pensioners warm in winter !

Aussie Mal, same school, affectionately known as Henry’s Holiday Camp, same experience of the Labour Party going back to Wilson &Co. As you say tax and spend, it was ever so. Voters come and go and memories are either non existent or very short. Unfortunately the Conservatives haven’t done us any favours in recent years either. Hunker down and hope the Messiah appears with ability and integrity. Hope springs eternal.

What about Rachel Thieves lying about being a teenage chess champion? Or free gear Kier saying his uncle was torpedoed in the Falklands? They commissioned a study which shows 4000 pensioners will die if the winter fuel allowance is withdrawn I.e. they know they will kill 4000 this year but are going ahead anyway as they sit in their hospitality seats at Taylor Swift. Let that sink in. Labour: It’s ok when we do it.

It's all about ratings for Starmer and him doing the 'cool' things. I also don't like the way how this self important jump up son of a toolmaker pretend Socialist can even dare to take down a photo on a wall for decades simply because he didn't like a picture staring down at him or he read it in a book that someone was or is racist?. Enid Blyton was rumoured to be racist but that is their view or opinion which wouldn't stop me from reading a book from Enid Blyton to my grandchild. I don't care if Churchill was racist because i look at the great things Churchill did for the war effort. This woke Government is the worst Government this country has and we should have seen it coming. This Labour is the wokest Godless and most inept and don't have a clue Government there ever is. Starmer's class experiment is already blowing up in his face and dont get me started on his transport minister the one with red hair who he now denies that he sided and agrees with her views. Again Starmer and smilie Reeves put on their best faces for the business projects. I keep saying this' study universities and getting good grades matter a great deal and no woke experiment with dunces who don't make the grades will work. You just wouldn't put a student who can't add 2 plus two behind a check-out and if anyone is daft enough to try this, you will lose money. Yes' there are a few from council estates who will work hard and be has good as anyone in the top league but not mouthy Raynor or that dud of a red-head. Lammy is feeling ashamed of his rented estate which he say's cantains too much green-space and he secretly wants more houses on it. We have made a mistake with Labour and it is embarrassing when the likes of failure Boris can attract people in a conference at £50 quid a go which says a lot. When it comes to business' the Conservatives are streets ahead of this Labour lot. Rant Over!!!

Owen, I agree with you entirely and will not even mention minor errors. Unfortunately, for us things will not improve until the Conservatives or anyone else can prove to be a viable proposition. We will suffer both individually and as a country. I am afraid the two R’s followed by S will strangle free enterprise, scare off potential investment whilst forcing entrepreneurs to leave the country as the tax burden will drain the life blood from the once great country we once was. Winston Churchill was truly one of the greatest English men of all time despite his many faults. A brave soldier from the Boer war, one of our greatest writers and a fantastic orator whose speeches will be remember forever unless the woke mob decide to attempt to erase his memory by destroying everything Churchillian. The flame that kept the country going during our darkest period between 1939 to 1942 may have died but , no doubt, his name will live for a thousand years or more.

Sadly it's the same the world over, there are no trustworthy politicians anymore. We used to have Statesmen, men with vision you could look up to. Then we had politicians, who were in touch with the population career men you understood service. Now we just have self-serving fly-by-nights who are only in it to line their own pockets, many millennials who want it all now and cannot look any further forward than the next election and thus pay day and care not a jot about the people they "serve". BTW, watch out, the US is about to vote Labor too....

Bob, you do post some absolute nonsense on here at times. Just use your simple little brain, if it wasn't for Boris Johnson and his swift moves to get the Covid beating injections, you would probably be brown bread by now, and if heaven forbid Keir the free gear had have been our PM at the time, thousands of more deaths would have occurred. Now that he is PM, he will probably, if we have a bad winter, make up for that, by killing thousands of pensioners, due to snatching away their fuel allowances. This will be the worst government in our history, and they have already made a good start, and it's only 102 days in so far, and just to think we have got another possible 4 years, of this tragic mob.
