Hi Chief, as you say, Kane or Metric, it’s not an easy decision I suppose their current values speak volumes, If we sell Metric we might get 10 million then we’d only need to find an extra 90 million for Kane !!

Not only will we be playing more inferior teams in the Championship, we will have to accept inferior referees. Mr Robinson who is refereeing the Bournemouth v Brentford game tonight is terrible, and he is one of the top Championship officials. No VAT either. Heaven help,us.

If Bournemouth and Brentford are two of the better teams in the Championship, then the standard is appalling low. Brentford should win the second leg, and reach another play off final, but neither side have a cat in hells chance of survival in the Premier League. I have a feeling that Swansea could be the dark horse in the play offs.

I just read that Adarabioyo apparently has a buyout clause and that a bunch of teams are after him. For one good signing that we bring in... I wonder what the clause is. He would be a very good piece to build on in the Championship I feel. His play slipped a bit towards the end of the season but then again, it was his first season at the top level.
Replies
Was just about to post about this. Would be disastrous to lose him next season. I had him pegged as a Fulham player for years to come. This relegation release clause has been kept very quiet until now. Seems another poor piece of TK business. This is what happens when you rush through all of your signings in the last 10 mins of the transfer window. Andersen and Tosin should have been ours for a long time to come. Had enough of this idiot TK.

Yeah. With him, a decent keeper that doesn’t make too many blunders, a guy who can beat someone off the dribble (Aluko style) and a goalscorer. Assuming we keep the good players (with the loanees leaving) and with Mitro also leaving potentially after this blunder of a season (not saying it is entirely his fault), if we get 2 decent strikers, one of them a good veteran, 2 CB, a rightback, and a dribbling midfielder/striker, we might go straight back up. Or am I being tok optimistic :D

I agree in general (if it is true - a big if) BUT........we paid £2m from memory and if the BOC is in the 10s of £m then good business methinks....

All players have a buy-out clause. so nothing surprising there. the question is the amount?? £15m would be a decent amount to put in and I would take it! But knowing us - the clause could be just £5m in which case would be a bad business.

You are not being kind as the playoff team is always at a disadvantage and this season even more so. The Club had very little time to spend negotiating with players and agents so it is inevitable some difficult contract situations arose. We were almost penalised for winning the playoffs.

That was mostly Hector and Ream the first five. Young Tosin has an important decision to make. Stay and play every week and learn his trade or take the quick money and possibly rot on a bench somewhere. I think a year in the championship would do him a world of good. He’s still very young and could you use a boost in confidence, maybe fill out a bit and get stronger.

If you haven't downloaded the NHS app (not the Covid one) yet then I recommend that you so do. It's a little bit complicated in that you have to provide pics of your passport or drivers' license or some other type of photo ID and you have to say certain words in a video that you send them but once sorted you are live within a couple of days. Inside appears your Covid passport which shows date vaccinations were given, manufacturer and batch number. Not sure if UK is the first but we must towards the top of the league on this one:0). You can also order repeat prescriptions for you and others by proxy as well as have access to your docs records.
Replies
Bit puzzled by your experience, because I downloaded the app while watching the Southampton game on Sky; and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. Bit of faffing around with passwords, but wasn't asked for any photo ID. It may help if you have your NHS number. And yes, there it was, a nice record of my Covid vaxes!

I have watched this season all but 2 of our under 18s home games and 3 away games, all have been a pleasure to watch. Carvalho may have been a surprise talent to those who have not seen him before but he is only one of many who should be given a chance before they leave. My choice of equal quality as Carv; is DEFENDERS = BOWAT= O NEILL= DIBLEY-DIAS FOREWARDS = BIERETH = STANSFIELD = BOWIE these last 3 having ability and talent in abundance, and should have been given their chances ages ago. SO PARKER ABONDON YOUR OBJECTION TO YOUTH AND GIVE THEM A REWARD IN SOME GAME TIME IN OUR LAST MATCHES. It would show that not like PARKER we have confidence in youth, and with a proper manager at the helm football supporters may in the future could talk not of Man U but the FULHAM babes

Whilst not advocating Big Sam for our club, you have to admire how he has organised WBA into a genuine team who have pride and battle to the end. The final ignominy would be WBA finishing above us. The man has passion and has inspired his players to battle for each other which is something that Parker has never achieved and stands like a sullen boy on the touchline doing little to encourage the players. The players are not passionate and I suspect the majority of them would be happy to see the back of him.

Bigboy' i got onboard the Parker brigade because i liked the improvement within this Fulham team. I especially liked the way we got after Liverpool and i was fully onboard the Parker revolution. If we could have only turned some of those draws into wins, it would not be so bad but this is reality, we failed miserably. It was so easy to believe that we would turn the corner and believe a win was just around the corner, but reality creeps up on you before you know it. Even the likes of Ralph Hasenhuttl didn't think that we would be relegated, and he actually likes the way we are set up and play. A lot of football people like Scott Parker and how he would like Fulham to play, but a serious lack of goals is our downfall. I now have serious doubts that Scott Parker can find ways and solutions to penetrate the opposition? Even with the pressure off because we know our fate, we still find it hard to score goals. This detail is something only an experienced manager will know how to overcome and Parker is struggling to even do that. I feel now that we were totally wrong to sack Slavisa because a lot of the squad at the time wasn't his choice. I look at Norwich and i see the sense in keeping Daniel Farke when they were relegated and we can now see the result. Delia Smith and Norwich usually sack their managers if they don't get the required results. Chris Houghton is one example. We know that Slavisa was important to Mitrovic, and he can get the best from him, Parker can not do so. Mitrovic is not top-grade premiership, but he should be capable of scoring 10- 11 goals in the prem. Our team now should be playing free-flowing football without anything to worry about any more yet we still cannot do so. We are further away from the Southampton we drew with first time of playing. I will give Scott Parker 3-4 games to get this team going back in the Championship, but you can be sure that i will be calling for somebody new. I would argue that if we lose our 2 remaining games? Parker should be replaced in my opinion, but the Khans look like they will stick with him? This Fulham team has become to regimented and stale, and i think we need to play with more fun and freeness. I like Carlos Carvalhal who they call the Lobster-man? This guy would put the fun back into Fulham and the players would like him loads. He has tasted the prem and he knows the Championship. With his extra experience gained back in portugal, i feel that we could put him on our list of potential managers? I agree that Scott Parker and time is up, but if the board persevere with him what can we do? Scott Parker is one of those managers out there that knows what and how we should play football in his head but can he transfer it on the pitch in real life? Only time will tell, and maybe we are wrong and maybe Parker will come good at the 100th time of asking???

Big Sam would have saved us from relegation...WBA will be a strong team in the Championship if Big Sam stays. We missed the boat with that one. Agree with many on this forum that Parker doesn’t seem to be learning, we are getting worse. And, with over 100 games in charge for us he is no longer an inexperienced coach. We should all expect much better than the dross we have been served up this season. Especially the failure in the last quarter of the season has been alarming and to which Parker hasn’t a clue how to address.
Replies
WBA would be a strong contender in the Championship if they could keep the same team together, but like us, most of their team are either loanees, or players running out of contract, so it will be very difficult for them to go for promotion, with very little money to back them. That's where our strength lies, with although we really don't like it, Daddy Khan's backing. I am sure that he is a proud business man, and another relegation will be an obvious embarrassment to him, and he will be determined to put things right as soon as possible, and he will back with hard cash whoever our Manager will be and in my opinion Scott is on borrowed time at the moment.

Do you really believe they're willing to drop into the championship? More likely they'll all be off and think you can probably add Tete and Anguissa to players looking for an escape route. Complete new squad will be taking shape soon.

A keeper is a special case he may wish to play for us rather than sit on at his home club. The other two are not heavily sort players and I am sure we can keep them. An option to buy means we have an agreed price and wage deal agreed option, so if we want them we have them because the player has agreed and their club is happy to let them. It would be three contracted players we do not have to get involved in long drawn hit and miss negotiations over.

Areloa, the hype about keeping him amazes me ,yes very acrobatic but has in my opinion faults : Bad positioning, cant catch a ball, poor distribution, and coming at a cost of 75k per week. We have a very capable keeper in Rodak, who is much superior in the last 3 categories, and with a salary of less than one third of ARI

Areola will never stay. could walk into the majority of prem teams. Lemina has been average at best. Would certainly keep Aina. Big upgrade on Odoi who was our previous jack of all trades in defence.

Kunye I must agree with you with regards to Rodak and Aerola. Rodak is an extremely competent keeper, and in some aspects he is far better that Aerola, and I certainly wouldn't want to bust gut to sign him. Rodak should play in the last two games, and should never have been given the heave ho at the beginning of the season with very weak players in defence in front of him. Had he had today's stronger players in front of him from the beginning, injuries apart, he should have been our number one all season.

Time .I.N that's your opinion on Areola lets see where he finishes up but do you really think he is worth 2.5mil more than Rodak, flaps and punches, and then it rarely goes to one of our players

Ariola is top class all day long, who say's that he can't catch a ball? Watch games back will confirm that he can. Ariola has saved us loads regarding goals against. Andersen i think is within our ability range and he suits Fulham, but he has his flaws just like most Fulham players. If i was his agent and touting him around other clubs? I would seriously be worried about his drop in form, his positional mistakes, etc. I just don't think that Andersen is as good as he thinks he is? Andersen is a typical player that Tottenham will go after and that is why they continually fall short for top 3 or champions league. There are some players that should never move for the big teams, and that would include Ryan Fredericks and Sessegnon and many others too looking at other teams...

Problm being, that I predict that we are going to struggle in the Championship as when Burnley were relegated, they had a team which were fighters not international mercenries - loan signings who are likely to disappear as quickly as the arrived. This is no way to run a football club. Scott Parker should Go and as soon as possible and we should get in a proper manager with experience and stop all this short term planning - if there is any plan or planning at all for Fulham long term. We'll have nice areana to entertain National League 1 oppsition if we do not get our act together.

Is required from Khan senior. He has no knowledge or feeling for footballand I do not mean the american variety. It is therefore imperative he employ person who has some knowledge of the sport. Perhaps this individual could replace his son who is not suited to his current position. As for the manager this is a difficult position since if it is true he has been given a three year contract it will be costly to sack him. It is imperative action is taken as soon as possible as when the new season commences one would hope decisions have been taken re the above matters and an experienced football person has had the opportunity to bring in some decent players to revitalise the club. Having the club run from the UK is essential re day to day football related matters instead of relying of action from a country in a diiferent time zone. If past actions are anything to go by I will not hold my breath that anything will change but I can dream!

Silver Fox, if you follow the American variety, he ain’t any good at that either. And for those who want Parker sacked, the remaining two years get paid and is applied to FFP. Either he quits or you’re stuck with him.

...Unless we sack Parker ASAP. I get the impression the club want rid but won’t sack him as he would be due a big pay off - some genius called TK gave him a 3 year contract before he had proved himself in the prem. the fear is, like with Sess, Levy will drag it out all summer and we will once again start a new campaign thoroughly unprepared with a new team and a new manager who don’t know each other and therefore don’t gel until 5-6 games into the new season. So much indecisive short term thinking from the DoF. My ideal scenario, bring in Roy to replace TK and cookie back to replace Parker. Only chance of restoring the clubs DNA. It won’t happen but I can dream.

Good to see Roy again, still managing to keep the results coming. Sure there are clubs who would welcome him , probably too much to expect us to make him a decent offer to help out SP

The reality is simply Parker is not good enough, wrong selection at crucial times, personal rift with Mitrovic, chance after chance to stay up Leeds Aston Villa Wolves etc etc total self destruct, he lost the dressing room weeks ago. In 2018 when we were relegated, pressure off he loses 4 or 5 on the bounce. Same thing happening now how many games lost in last 8Humuliating. Now he’s backed with so called funds. It’s not what you have to spend it’s how and what strategic plan Fulham had. Obviously none as until T Khan steps down Mckintosh disappears, NOTHING CHANGES . We will be writing the same comments year in year out and with PARKER in charge who tales no accountability, then the circus will continue. We need to set a peaceful petition to voice all our opinions to at least put pressure on to get rid of Parker
Replies
How much does Parker get involved with all aspects of running the Club. Does he try to influence Mini Khans HR function, does he see the scouts reports for instance. Does he have an influence on the under 18s that should be a big part of our present and future. Does he have regular meeting with the accounts department to get a feel of where the money goes and how he can influence. I assume the club has board meetings and he is a full member, but how much influence does he really have on its business.

Many of us have been pleading with Parker to bring in some of our youngsters and finally when it does happen, he scores. Reading Parker's comments you get the impression he actually been planning this all along as he states he was aware of his ability and outstanding skills and fully deserved the opportunity. Then why has he left it until we have been relegated to introduce a youngster who obvious is proud to wear a Fulham shirt unlike many of our so called stars? I have been criticised by many for saying Parker should learn his trade in lower divisions before attempting managing a Premier club. I objected when he was appointed and when we were in the Championship and recommended, after six games this season, he should do the honourable thing and fall on his sword. I suppose it is some consolation that many of you, including Owen, now agree with me. Obviously, Baby Khan is responsible for appointing Parker, as anyone being offeried a three year contract at his salary is unlikely to turn it down. So, we are now lumbered with Parker and I very much doubt that he will introduce more youngsters into the team despite his claims that he is building for the future. Our only hope is to snap up Roy, whose will be leaving Palace at the end of the season, in order to restore sanity to the asylum. Make him director of football and send Tony back to wrestling.
Replies
Parker is afraid to take courageous decisions, including using talented youngsters. He persists in playing RLC, Cavaleiro in a system that hasn't worked for one reason or another, either down to the personnel or his ability to manage and direct them correctly. If Daddy Khan really cares, he will remove his son quietly and convince him to concentrate on his Wrestling venture and leave Fulham to an UK based professional to run fulltime. Tony could still be on the board as Non Executive Member.

Parker said we will see a lot more of this lad in the future , does he mean in sainsburies???because ther is no way we will see this kid in championship next season ,he will sit on bench or get loaned out as is parkers want. There are many players around the 21 and under playing in all the leagues but not from ffc Sess was exception his brother answers my question he got loaned out the rest never got a chance to show what they can do, we have an excellent 18/21 set up for gods sake use it at least next season play some of them and stick with them,.

It was surprising that a lot of us thought after half a dozen game by RLC that Onomah was probably better. Why did Parker not notice that. I can only think a number of the loan players, including RLC, must had a must play if fit clauses in the loan contracts. These are clauses we have been caught by before as it put the manager in the stupid situation that some of his team is chosen for him.

So many people pointing the finger at Parker yet nobody knows how much control he has,for me the players who were definitely capable of staying up but let us and there manager down week after week, missed penalties last minute equaliser/winners you can’t always blame the coach/manager for every mistake. More importantly not 1 person comes up with an alternative so even though I understand the criticism of our inexperienced manager and I’m not he’s biggest fan can’t see many alternatives the way this club is being run.

Burnley 0 Leeds 4. Leeds give a thumping to a team that had just beaten us comfortably, and previously they had lost at home to West Ham, so, we must be one of the worst sides ever to be relegated from the Premier League, and quite frankly for the first time in my life, I almost feel embarrassed by letting people know that they are the club that I support. I know that I will be ridiculed for saying this, but as I feel at the moment, I don't want to re-new my ST. Some on here will say that I am just a plastic supporter, believe me I have religously followed our club since the mid fourties, so please don't come on here and tell me that I am not loyal. I am, but at presentn I really have had enough, of both the Khans, although Tony more so, and Scott Parker, who has proved beyond all doubt, that he is not up to the job.

The problem I find is one of sheer frustration seeing the way we are heading. I won’t miss the Premier as we we were never good enough to survive, What gets me is that watching the other so called ‘ poor sides ‘ giving it a real go whist we tip tap away. How we managed to beat Liverpool Leicester and Everton yet roll over against poor teams such as Burnley is about as Fulhamish as you can get. But no doubt I will be cheering them on next season with or hopefully without SP as coach. No one ever said it would be easy following Fulham !

It should be made clear to anyone deciding to follow FFC that this comes with a written health warning , such as depression, frustration and the frequent desire to bang your head against the wall. Also wanting to throttle all the people involved with the running of the club including the coach who you decide would be far better off imparting his knowledge on Hackney marshes. On the plus side very occasionally you will be able to walk the streets with a satisfied grin on your face. Please be advised this may only occur very rarely! If this sounds ok then please come and join us !

As a Fulham supporter since 1952, I must sympathise with all the comments on this thread. After the Burnley game I resolved not to watch the Southampton one, but caved in and watched it. Once again it was truly dreadful, but I must have watched a different game to Scott Parker! Thank goodness for the one ray of light in young Carvalho, but as for the rest(apart from Areola)words fail me. In particular why does Parker persist in playing Cavaleiro game after game. He must rank as one of the worst players on Fulham's books, and I cannot understand what Parker sees in him. I really can't face the Man United game. All I can do now is go back into my shell, and hope that by next season many drastic changes will have been made! Whatever happens, it is impossible to get Fulham out of my blood!!

Have to agree with both Malden Mick and Dave Brooks. I’ve supported and watched FFC for what now is nearly 70 years, haven’t always been able to attend matches but having lived in SW London and the Home Counties for most of that time have attend a whole lot of games. We have had rough times and poor managers, owners and teams, but regret to say the current lot rank with the worst. Back over the years we’ve always been strapped for cash and understandably have not really been in a position to compete. MAF for all his faults changed that. His legacy should have been something to build on, unfortunately it has been totally squandered. It’s been a tale of woe since he lost interest and the downward slide has been inexorable. Brief glimpses of competitiveness have subsequently been fritter away. Money would not really appear an issue now and there really cannot be any excuse for us failing to be competitive in at least the bottom third of the PFL. Poorly owned, money badly allocated, poor scouting and signings, and inexperienced, if not weak management. All topped off by a group of players of questionable quality who do not show any spirit, lack leadership and seemingly any desire to play as a unit. Is it little wonder lifelong supporters lose faith. By the way, The Pope, you’re talking rubbish. Well worn hackneyed old cliques, they’re just words mate, randomly spewed out, they don’t mean anything.

No sooner had Abramovich gifted Tuchel a new extended contract, they start to lose the plot. What was wrong with Tuchels old contract that would have seen him good for another 2 years anyway? Okay' they were unlucky against Arsenal with that crazy back-pass and today there was no crumb of comfort from our newly found friend in var either. That exceptional shot from mount was parried by an unbelievable save by baby Schmeichel which told us that Leicesters name was written on the FA cup today. Chelsea who will have a 2nd bite of the cherry with a Champions League final next week could find themselves winless this season. Could this be telling that a contract improved and given to managers, should be awarded after they earn one? I backed Scott Parker to take Fulham to the next level but i seriously now have my doubts after listening to 5 live against Southampton. Scott Parker really needs to put more enthesis into more youth than he might have given a run-out to today. We are still hitting brick walls and getting nowhere with penetration on goals and we ain't under any pressure after knowing our fate. The Khans could well learn a lesson from the Chelsea lot about giving out extended contracts? Prove that you can do it firstly. psychologically, i think that Managers do a better job when they have short contracts. A long and improve contract attracts complacency. You listening Mr Parker?!!!!!!

Parker must have learnt that his tactics and team selection are not good enough for the Premier League. WE COULD HAVE ALL TOLD HIM THAT - SO COULD THE RESULTS. Can someone tell the owners that the Playoffs are not the sam as the Superbowl. Parker was right when he said the club has to have a strategy for the future. That strategy starts with a good manager and effective coaching staff that buys the right players and adaps the style of play to their ability not the Ideology of the manager. Square pegs do not fit in round holes. 26 goals in 36 games is shameful and then leave all you strikers on the bench.
Replies
Square pegs in round holes applies throughout the Club. Parker is watching too many Magath videos .

Of the loan players Lookman and Maja are probably the only ones we could sign and we should sign them as they will be brilliant in the Chumpianship.

Love it. Saints 3-1 up and closing out the game with a perfect exhibition of keep ball. Our guys all looking at the ref thinking blow up for pity's sale. Parker looking at Saints thinking why can't my team do that? Answer. You have drained them of all spirit and will to win. We walk off thinking why do we have to play 2 more games? Can't we confess them?

I shall be glad to see the back of this current Fulham team, they are absolutely clueless. Can’t score and can’t defend, Parker must have some idea on the players that will be leaving the club, so why pick players that really have little interest in the last 3 games, especially when we are already relegated. I wouldn’t be too disappointed if Tosin was not retained, he’s a little static in defence, seems to amble his way through the game and considering his hight loses a lot in the air. If we can find a buyer, Mitro will be on his way next season.

What a fantastic finish for Rangers and rookie manager Stevie Gerrard. Do i need to say much more or to even mention a name such as Defoe or even Kemar Roofe? A 4-0 win over Aberdeen and to go unbeaten in that league is exceptional in itself and a testament to Gerrards astuteness on signing proven goalscorers like Defoe firstly, and i must flag up a player like Kemar Roofe who Leeds let go in mysterious circumstances. I sit here and harp on about Kemar Roofe in particular because i flagged him up before he got to Rangers. I am aware that our game with Southampton has just kicked off and all i want to say is, good luck to any youngsters that Parker decides is good enough? I am disappointed to say the least for our season which should have been a satisfactory stay in the prem if only we could have gotten a more prolific goal-scorer? These 2 mentioned and a few more that Fulham fans flagged up would have made the difference and that is the most frustrating thing about our recruitment. Gerrard just said the magic words while Rangers celebrate their fantastic season. Getting Roofe and Defoe and a few others on board in the last transfer window especially made the difference. Gerrard sometimes wears his heart on his sleeves but he is tough and honest and proud! Good luck to Scott Parker now we know he is here to stay, but we need to kick on and hit the ground running back in the Championship next season. That means, good decisions are to be made and tactics on the pitch from defense to midfield and attack should be spot on in my opinion. I may write some hairy-fairy crap from time to time, but i expect Fulham and team to hit the ground running from the get-go of next season. I think most Fulham fans will feel the same way too. Not interested in todays game whatsoever and the garden will get my attention this afternoon. I hope Josh Onomah will get some game-time because i rate him to push on especially now that Anguissa will leave. Nuff said!!!!!!
Replies
Scottish premier league is the most ridiculous league in the world. The format is really confusing. The standard is championship at best but the smaller clubs are probably league two standard. Didn’t Aberdeen lose their best striker (Rooney?) a few years ago to Salford who were in our non-league?? Rangers and Celtic have 20x bigger budget than the other teams. Don’t see the point.

BRIAN that eighty seat majority is because we live in a two party system. IM seventy two and all my life when people get fed up with the other one they vote for the other one. If we had a third or forth party it would be a lot different. So that eighty seat dont mean jack. Because it will all change when people get fed up with this lot.

The governments proposal to require people to show proof of identity in order to vote . Would not be necessary had the previous Labour governments national ID card system been introduced. With out a hint of irony. the present government which opposed Labours scheme so vigorously . Intends to solve the problem of voters being unable to prove their identity, by providing them with an official , government sanctioned ID card. And that was what Corbyn wanted in the first place. Also he wanted to spend extra money on the NHS before this lot happened but lost the vote.

Before the season started I said I couldn't see more than three other Premiership teams that Fulham could beat. I wasn't far wrong. What is quite clear is that we only have two or three players who'd be confident of finding a place in another Premiership team, and an inexperienced manager who didn't really know what he was doing, or what his best team was. We were simply not good enough. The urgent need is to find an experienced manager who knows how to get the best out of a team in the Premiership, and then let him manage. There are several available to choose from. If we go on as we are we'll even struggle in the Championship.
Replies
Nearly all our team will be in the Premier league next season. West ham alone are rumored to want 3 of our players. Spurs and Arsenal and Leicster and Everton and United all want our players. Palace need to recruit. The three promoted teams. All will pick us dry. We will see then what a failure this has been, club relegated but not the players. And guess what? Parker gets another go next season.
