As far as I am aware, Mitro left on good terms and their fans still like him. Newcastle could not find a better striker should they be relegated. As we seen with decent service, Mitro can single handedly get them back up. Newcastle. need a goal scorer desparatly (what better than the highest scorer in Europe at the moment). From Mitro’s point of view, yes they could be relegated. But they could stay up too. They can double his money. Also in 3-4 years time, Newcastle, with the money. are likely be a much bigger and more successful club than Fulham. Fingers crossed he stays!

Why are you getting excited Everton always get beaten in London. Why are you on a Fulham FC site you sad Bentford fan. Reality will soon kick in again when you slide down the table to be within the relegation zone. You’re a small insignificant club with the worst ground I won’t call it a stadium in the premiership and the championship. You know in a couple of years you will be back where you belong in league one. I feel sorry for those noble Evertonians who had to endure a Sunday on the outskirts of London in one of the most ugly parts of Hounslow at a ground they must of thought was a temporary structure. At least they will have the comfort of returning to see their team at Goodison alive with memories of titanic battles between themselves and the cream of football. PS what is that thing on Toney’s head does it have a pulse.

Buzzi B, out of interest I actually watched your game with Everton today, and what I witnessed was a really terrible game, and was probably the worst Premier League match played this season, and if it hadn't been for a very dodgy penalty, your lot would have played until Christmas without scoring. In a way I hope that don't get relegated, as it will guarantee us 6 points next season.

We all complain at times when we see some very bad passing by our lads, and we think that all other teams are better at it. Well after watching Brighton play Leeds tonight, even so called top Premier League sides make bad pass after pass, so they all do it, whatever division they are in. We have had two disappointing matches in a row, where some of our passing was atrocious, but at the end of the day, we didn't lose either games, and we are still at the top of the table, and coming into December who would have thought that would be happening. It's a big well done so far.

PNE were just about the worst team I've seen this season. They were sh!t and we just about about out-sh!tted them with a team half dead on their feet. What we need is an international break to get everyone well again....;)

PNE got its tactics perfect. We know from Woy that looks don’t matter, graft and defensive solidity earns a team the right to play. I was impressed by how they frustrated us. On our side, TC adds an element to our team that we missed the last two matches. Reed and Onomah nowhere near as creative. As athletic as Robinson is, Joe Bryan’s service is far far superior. Mitro benefits from Bryan’s inclusion. Also think Tosin hasn’t been great since returning. Hector played quite well. Silva said as much during his post/match comments, that maybe he didn’t pick the right team.

Total control for 30 minutes, then zilch. My reading is that some of the team were spent before halftime. Let's see what we can do against Bournemouth. Preston earned their point although Rodek was clearly impeded and the handball was. Clear enough.

As others have said, Fulham's performance against Preston was lethargic and we were lucky to hold on for a draw. Just two shots on target, one of which was Ream's well-taken goal, was simply not good enough. We had no energy, and perhaps the mid-week illness at the club had taken its toll. Fulham's two central defenders made the usual errors that Preston failed to take advantage of, but their goal should arguably have been ruled out for handball. We certainly missed Cairney in midfield, and no-one seemed to have any idea how to unlock Preston's well-drilled defence. Mitro never had a kick all game. Wilson didn't seem to have any desire to take defenders on, and our best attacker was probably Robinson. There's got to be a vast improvement if we are to beat Bournemouth.
Replies
So far this season we have been robbed of 4 points by poor officials decisions, as they allowed Bristol City's goal to stand although it was miles offside, and now today's poor decision in not disallowing Preston's goal. However we are still top of the Championship table and everything is still in our own hands. Friday nights game will be exiting providing we play to our potential, we should win.

Don’t think we deserved three points but we’re badly let down by the Ref . Presume he missed the arm scoring the goal VAR anyone ?
posted by Rob (Guest) - Saturday 27th November 2021, 6:01 PM

Ok we may not have deserved to win because of our poor second half performance but they fouled the ball into the net and VAR would not have given that goal a decision that would have taken a second . Also Sky commentators and in particular Alex Neil who don’t forget is a former PNE manager were poor and basically got everything wrong .

I’d rather have him than anyone else in the championship! Look on the positives. He ca link up play, he’s got very good speed, he take the ball into edge or inside the box and he’s brave. He needs fine tuned then he could be a very good player. He reminds me of Fredrick.

His final ball generally is not good enough. Today there were a lot of poor performances out there and apart from the Seri's freekick and Ream's conversion there was nothing from the team in an attacking sense and some very ordinary defending.

Maybe there are still players who are ill, it looked like it. Can’t believe how many times we gave the ball away after 30minutes. There was so much lethargy in movement and defending that we were lucky to get a point. The ref was awful and the goal from Preston should have been disallowed. Having said that Preston were the better team in my opinion. We need to be much better next Friday if we are to beat Bournemouth.

Illness, difficult playing conditions and little recovery time from the last match, given that Fulham also needed to travel to the North West. PNE are decent at home. I think the equaliser would have been ruled out in the PL. Let's take the point and move on. Almost a full week until the next match. Time to get players rested and ready to take back top spot.

A game lasts 90 minutes one goal brings two quite often dont forget they beat a better side than you a while back ( admitted we had an off day ) by the way good teams don’t give away a two goal lead in the last ten minutes

Some games we seem to hold back and conserve energy rather than try to put games to bed. Not sure why. Once we play negative the other team comes into the game and we struggle to get any momentum. I’m being very critical since we are top but if we invite pressure all it takes is a crap decision from a ref to allow the other team into the game

Ream made multiple mistakes after scoring. Gave Preston the encouragement they needed to gain the upper hand. Thereafter only one team in it. But referring blinder cost us 2 points. Seems to be a reoccurring theme too. We do need a strong captain to pull us together after setbacks. We do seem to get easily agitated and lose composure when bad decisions are given against us. Still a point is better than none.

Not sure what happened on Wednesday but let’s move on. I don’t blame any of the players and the reality i think it was just a bad day in the office, less perfect game plan or Derby were simply a better team than people think. We can’t win all the games so getting one point to give the team and Marco a bit of a reality check and bring them back down to earth, may a good thing over the season as looking in hindsight the Coventry lost was the best game for Fulham this season. I don’t know what illness going around the players but I don’t think that is the reason why we didn’t win (apart from the keeper we are only talking about Mitro and Cairney, who only recently got back into the team). Even with the same team tomorrow, we should be good enough to beat Preston. Coyw! Keep going hopefully January, we start planning for the premier league!

Arguably our three best players think if mitro was playing we might have got onto one of them goal mouth scrambles read a stat yesterday we had 47 touches in there box t to7 I ours let’s hope we are all back to some fitness Saturday there was certainly sickness in the camp hence the inclusion of knokart ( excuse my spelling ) and the lack of running power could still be a problem on Saturday these things don’t just go away

I quite like listening to the interviews with both Marco and some of our players after the matches, but whoever arranges these, should wait a bit longer, as we have a hard job hearing the interviews especially if they are softly spoken like Tim Ream was on the latest interview, with those dratted lawn mowers going on behind. It must be annoying for both the interviewer and the person that is being interviewed, well it certainly annoys me, as I would like to hear what they are talking about, but I can't because of the incessant row going on behind. Does anyone else find this irritating ?

John. The vaccine does not stop people getting Covid, it stops them dying of it. There is no evidence to show the vaccine is useless except in the minds of anti-vac fantasists.

It doesn't stop them dying, it decreases the risk. But so does a mutated virus; as it mutates it weakens and will less likely kill you. Not to mention, I'm in the category of the 99.9% survival rate, so my odds of dying from it were pretty slim. So yeah, the vaccine is as good as useless to me.

First they say the vaccine would eradicate the so called virus, then for it to work more effectively you have to have two jabs, now they're saying you have to have a 3rd booster jab. Now they say that its only effective for 13 weeks. John get lambasted for being a anti vaxer when it ckearly show that the vaxine isn't as effective as first thought and in actual fact you vaccinated are the ones who are giving it to one another so really the ones who are vaccinated should be put under house arrest so us un vaccinated can carry on as normal.

Broad, "So what you are saying there is I'm alright so f@@k everyone else." ? How does a vaccine that helps me survive the virus, but doesn't stop me catching it and spreading it something that benefits anyone other than me? If you're afraid of the virus, get the vaccine. Because it's might reduce your risk. But as you said, it won't stop you spreading it.

Got out of jail in the end. Tosin gave the ball away time after time, far to casual. Derby are no pushovers which makes it more confusing with Silvas team selection. If they were rested they should have been on the bench. If injured or ill then Silva had to leave them out. Will be interesting to know. Seri put a shift in but upfront against two experienced centre backs Muniz was out played. Kebano not really at it tonight but we got a point as did Bournemouth. Must do better Saturday.

Marco said that the squad have been hit with a sickness bug, and even some of those who played were feeling unwell, so a draw, with Bournemouth also drawing wasn't a bad result after all.

Wrong to say we never looked like scoring. We weren’t good but their keeper kept them in it. Check the stats when they’re out.. we should be more accurate in front of goal I agree, too many shots of target, but we did get a lot of shots away. Mitro would probably have picked up a couple.

We certainly lacked composure in front of goal, but Derby (who don't concede many goals) are, needless to say, much better than their league position suggests. I'd be surprised if the 3 absentees were rested- you don't rest your most reliable goalkeeper for what we could have predicted would be a tight game. Hope it's nothing sinister, but I'm not confident, at the moment, that any of them will be back on Saturday.

If the MP in question is making a point to create a debate then that's fair enough but if she thinks it should ok to bring your baby into work as a norm, I think she needs to think again! WOULD IT BE FAIR?? No, it's ok for the MP who sit in a common and barely do any real work but talk and speak. What about a nurse. a lorry driver. a customer service personnel. A MP earns around 90k a year, don't think you think it is reasonable to assume that somewhat also compensate for the childcare costs? IF ALLOWED, WHERE WOULD YOU DRAW THE LINE? If you are allowed to bring one baby - then why shouldn't you be allowed to bring two or three? if you are allowed to bring a 3months old - why not a 3 year old assuming the toddler is well behaved? WHAT WILL THE WORKPLACE LOOKLIKE? can you imagine 600 babies in the common - is that what this MP is advocating assuming she is not seeking special rules for herself only.

Most jobs you get a year off and don’t need to bring the baby to work but if you are self employed you get very little maternity pay so often have to go straight back to work in some capacity. If your baby is under 3 months then you often have to bring it with you.

An MP is the representative of their constituency so cannot afford to take a year off.

This rant has nothing to do with woman or colour so please don’t cloud my rant with that, otherwise I will think it is just an attempt to cancel my post. My point is squire simple - apart from exceptions, which we should be tolerant, I don’t think it makes sense that anyone (men or women or trans), unless in the working arrangements, have the automatic rights to bring their baby into work.
