I have been saying all along, that any other team of our standing would have lost all of those fixtures on current form. Had we played West Ham, Wolves, and Burnley, we would be half way up the table by now. We have in fact beaten Leeds and Brentford as we would have been expected to, but the real tests are the next three games, against Wolves(who we lost to last season)Everton, who we usually do well against, and Sunderland, who are surprising everyone, but they won't surprise us, as we will know what to expect now. Yes, being in the bottom 4 is a concern, but we are not too downbeat just yet, and providing our injured players return we will be just fine. MST you and I have been these periods of losing over the years, in fact without looking at my records, there was a period the last time we were at the top table league, we went 13 games with just one win, and so far we have won 2 out of 9 with more to follow.

We are certainly missing Munez, albeit a rough diamond, who has the ability to unhinge defences with his strength and tenacity. Since his injury our record has been poor and once he and Wilson are match fit I expect to see an improvement. In the meantime we have to utilise what resources we have and I believe both Kevin and Smith Rowe should start against Wycombe together with our loanee centre forward. This is an ideal game to blood a couple of young strikers from the under 21 team who might surprise some of us. If we don’t blood them in these games we will never be able to assess their potential. Please Marco give them some playing time.

I agree with your observations, from a very positive position last season we have been unable to build on that whilst others have prospered. Pity but there it is, hopefully things will improve. I think that will very much depend on the new boys coming good.Fotunately for us Forest are in turmoil , West Ham really look rudderless and Wolves, who could improve are average , as are Burnley. Not sure that the status quo will be maintained. Meanwhile others will put it down to bad luck and like MST continue to criticise others for their views. Sad!

Jim is exactly the same. I do appreciate the views of others but it grinds you down when the posters I mentioned above NEVER have anything positive to say about the club regardless of any owner, manager and playing staff. Even wins and draws do not miss out on the negativity. On the flip side, I and some others also get fed up with TTIN always justifying everything the club does as positive. I’m not over the moon with our start to the season but it really isn’t the end of the world and there are several positives that can balance out some of the negatives. Our season so far (in my opinion) can be defined by individual mistakes, VAR errors and sheer bad luck but things can only get better. If some supporters expect every game to be classy football culminating in big victories, then they really are supporting the wrong club (and I don’t necessarily include Bish in that observation).

You will already at that point have condemned in your mind anything they will have written. Simples, to borrow one your sillier phrases. I agree with Bish and I believe you to be wrong. I certainly don't like looking at the league table at the moment, but neither were Villa a few weeks ago, as they were in the bottom three, and now look where they are. As yet we are not in those dreaded places, but as all of us fans know, a couple of wins and up we go, but it is those two wins that are vital. It's a long season, so a lot can change, and will, so no long faces just yet, as our bad luck with VAR and injuries will change.

Sunderland has secured promotion through Régis, who has recruited from the same pool as Marco and teams around us. We all know deep down that you don't necessarily need to spend big; you just need to pick the right player for a particular position and know how to get the best from them. I genuinely believe that and maybe a good second in your coaching set-up will go a long way. It begs the question, are we missing Boa Morte more than we know at this time? My post will be irrelevant if we soon to start winning again.

That club, along with the likes of Brighton and Brentford, have a sustainable model of player recruitment, laughing at the ‘bigger’ clubs and the sums they spend.

We went to the same school, along with the likes of George Cohen after the war , in Fulham, 400 yards from the ground and have been solid, hell and high water supporters of Fulham for 70 years. We both have very close personal connections with club for a total of 140 years between us. So I promise we can bring much more to the comments than many many others based up an enormous fund of knowledge. If Bish thinks it, it’s valid and dissenters should reappraise their assessments and critique. Everyone is entitled to their view Bishop’s is more valid than yours. Please resist the temptation to criticise someone who had masses more experience than you supporting Fulham. And I prefer not to be patronised.

Intentional offence yes, but unintentional never:) Bish is a curmudgeonly old git, as am I, annd oft expressed grievances are borne of a genuine long standing and enduring love for the club. We were both born within spitting distance of the club and aren’t just fans we are born and breed Fulhamites, frustrations might be heightened by that association. My school lunchtime breaks were regularly spent down at the Cottage talking to the players of the day and regularly chatting with good old Tommy Trinder in whose big blue Bentley we would luxuriate whilst he regaled us with many an amusing story, when he had the time of course. Other times just a wave of acknowledgment. A great guy , as were most of the players who we’d watch train, which seemed to involve running up and down the terrace a lot. Then they’d be off down the Crabtree for a few recuperative pints and the odd fag. I tell you this rubbish so that you’ll appreciate our dissatisfaction and frustration when we see things going tits up, as we believe things currently are. Being called anything other than a Fulham fan hurts.Anyway fingers crossed and onwards, and hopefully,upwards.

All our players do not seem to be playing as well as last season. It is not much but it is enough for us to loose rather than win. We have a lot of injuries I suspect we also have lot of players in the team who are not match fit. The other factor could be the tricks Marco does to make most of the team to play better than you might expect have been found out by the squad who are not fooled anymore.

Any kick-outs were straight back in and a pile in of more pressure which leads to mistakes. I am sorry to be saying this now more than ever, it is down to the Manager to tweak it, turn things around and get back into the game. Marco Silva is devoid and found lacking of ideas at the moment and game losses are racking up and i would expect the chairman to start looking and thinking if you know what i mean. I was rooting for Smith Rowe and he had the one good chance to score but he didn't. I put this down to lack of games and minutes on the pitch, Paddy will say something different i expect...

I don't agree with a lot of our posters, that we have suddenly become a bad side, but certainly things have not gone in our favour since the start of the season, and it seems to be knocking our players confidence, as even when we score a good goal, or don't get the justified penalty. Even the press have sympathy for us at times. West Ham, and Wolves, are really bad sides, and we are not down to that level just yet, but beating Wolves on Saturday, is a must result game, as even myself Owen, MST, and Bigboy will start to have our doubts. We should take a good few points from our next three games, and then things will not seem to rocky.

Not lost faith in Marco and there is ample time to turn it around and i hope he does when injuries like Robinson and Muniz clear up. Interest in this guy Regis at Sunderland is just interest and let's see how far and how successful he is at Sunderland. I like his under the radar profile because he has spent more time around juniors and youth teams than he has in management. What is also interesting is that all clubs are in with the same chance for buying players on the market at the start of the season and i mean clubs around us. There will be players that Regis and Sunderland have purchased which we have overlooked and moved on. This guy Regis seems to know how to identify talent that can come into Sunderland and make them tick, that is a rare talent and i think if Sunderland not only survive in their first season and go on to finish higher up and maybe above Newcastle? Regis will be gold nugget dust and top clubs will be after him. I don't know his buy-out fee, and if he is the real deal we will not get him. I am careful to say all this if Marco Silva is toast. For the record i think Marco and Fulham will turn it around for the better. Our close game and form and loss to Chelsea shows me that. Lastly, something in the back of my mind tells me that there is more to come from the likes of Smith Rowe and our your star Josh King who runs about and he is a tryer. Could someone like Regis get more out of these young stars? I am tempting fate and the wrath of die hard Fulham faithfuls now so i bid you farewell...

The standard of the premier league is head and shoulders above any other league so to keep up with other teams is getting harder every season. I wouldn’t panic yet nobody wants 4 losses on the bounce but I’m confident we will climb the table.

Normally, we hog the ball but today our first instinct was to kick out into danger areas and straight back to Newcastle players without thinking. Sometimes it happens to the best and Chelsea against us were brilliant yet not so good against Sunderland. I am still confident that we can play better than todays level and we will pick up points sooner than later. My only worry now is for Marco to rally our boys together and instil some confidence to our boys who look tentative sometimes.

Hopefully we will get back on track against Wycombe in midweek, and then follow up wins against Wolves, Everton, and Sunderland.

The principal points on this subject I believe are enshrined in EU law that asylum seekers have to be given sanctuary in the first country they step foot in. The people on this board are probably a good cross section of the community and all are in favour of rules regarding immigration should be adhered to by all EU countries. Why are we wasting billions of tax payers money on supporting up to 1,000 illegal immigrants a week, during good weather, and stupidly paying France approximately £467 mln for a three year period for them to assist in preventing crossings from the French coast. Not much evidence of successful prevention to date.

What makes you think we do not have that structure in place or a modern equivalent to it. The game has radically changed since we were young, for example every player at a professional club from about age 10 is on a very detailed analysis of their ability and performance. You do not have to have many scouts going to hundreds of games to look at thousands of players. An analyst will select a number of player on the list who look as possibles for Fulham. Of course all other teams around the world be doing the same thing. Once the list of potential players has been devised then a scout may go out to see if reality supports the written evidence. We find a player who looks good we then make a bid and a number of other clubs do the same. We have a number of advantages, we are in the best League in the World and are in London which is a big attraction for many players. It is not a simple process but it is efficient as compared to the past as we do not get many abject failures in our signings.

To be honest Gaz' Arsenal catch out the best whipping in those free-kicks and corners especially down the Saka side and they are excellent at doing it. We switched off at the far post and it only takes seconds. We did well to shut them out for most of the game. Leno played a blinder but i am more concerned with players having loads of game-time rather than Smith Rowe who doesn't get enough. We had 9 guilded chances by the way between Wilson Jimenez Cairney and Josh King. Muniz missing some of those chances would have been slated right left and centre.

We played very well with a team that had some "second string player" in it. Marco has managed to get a squad that has two good players in each position. Wilson had three good chance but missed them all. Wilson should play on the wing where his speed would be valuable If we had been three up at halftime we may have won the game. We are a good team but we our midfielders need to score more goals and we need a bit of luck. Marco is complaining about the injuries because he is not used to it other than a few odd one.

Cobblers Archie, we haven't even played 10 games yet, and despite our lack of goals at the moment,once we have a fully fit squad, we will be flying away up the table. What amazes me though, the relegation favourites like Sunderland and Burnley, still seem able to score good goals. I would rather have a bad run at the beginning of the season than at the end, when we should be on course for a European spot.

Yesterday’s performance was quite encouraging against a very well organised team who have only conceded 3 goals and will almost certainly finish in the top 2. Need a couple of wins to put us back on track.

The problem is it gets tough if you get in relegation battle, and a lot comes down to luck and officials errors or bias to bigger clubs, because most sides have good players in premiership. I think Chuckuewe looks the business and has adapted pretty well. Kevin whilst not adapting as quickly is an excellent prospect too. Yesterday he showed flashy of class and his tackling and commitment were excellent. As for ESR I’m not sure too many would agree with you , I would also point out he wasn’t a signing this summer and surely has been with us long enough to now be making a bigger contribution. So in short this summer’s signings, albeit too few, will I think prove to be very sound. Haven’t seen Kusi-Asori so can’t comment although I hear he is very good. Yesterday’s performance was very good, particularly with the forced changes, and a fully fit squad will do okay. That said other teams improve too.

The top teams take their chances, we miss them. If we could learn to finish well we could become a top team. We defended very well except for one corner where the defence was in the wrong place. Their defence did not make any mistaken it was their midfield who kept giving the ball away in dangerous areas of the pitch.

You can't have it both ways TTIN, i agree we played well and again we should take our chances in top games like this. Smith Rowe has not reached beyond the ordinary level yet? He is one of the few who has registered goals. Wilson along with Josh King had the best in chances out there. They are ahead of Smith Rowe in levels? It was a better tactical effort from Marco and i give him that and we should have defended better for their goal but i also think that we held back millions worth of talent on a Fulham bench that is looking embarrassing. You expect Smith Rowe to score from where he was playing? Marco Silva might be a fit for Forest if he could get on with the Chairman but not bigger teams such as Man Utd or Chelsea just yet and he still has a few things to learn about management. Patience is a virtue and i think Marco needs to learn it. Panic station kicks in when we are a goal down.

To my mind this has been a messy season so far, with lady luck deserting us with VAR, and bad decisions against us, and now a run of bad injuries against us as well. We are definitely not yet at the stage of being relegation candidates, as our home record will see us through. Listening to Radion 5 live sports tonight, Forest supporters are almost wishing that Marco could be their new manager. I'm not surprised, as he is top class, and I have more chance of winning the lottery, than Marco taking that job. I'm under the impression, right or wrong, that Marco is here for the duration, or until we actually win something.

As avid a Fulham supporter as I am, we are so unlucky to be playing a top form Arsenal team with a very limited strength side, and I'm afraid that we are facing certain defeat today, as would any other team in the Premier League if they were playing them. I feel like Soothsayer, but I wouldn't dare forecast a score, but I can forecast the result, which will be a fighting loss.

I failed to understand leaving on two record signings bench bound and failing to give them adequate playing time to justify their valuation. Supposedly, Arsenal were very reluctant to part with Smith Rowe as he was highly rated by management with Arteta waxing lyrically about his skills. Based on this, Smith Rowe must have suffered from a lack of confidence from the lack of playing time at Arsenal. Desperate for a regular team place he jumps at the chance to join Fulham and then finds himself in the same position. A wonderful way to rebuild his confidence, I don’t think. He has shown glimpses of his ability and should be selected to start against his old team. In general, our team has failed to live up to our expectations with several of the team lacking the desire to organise themselves when in winning positions. This was particularly noticeable against Bournemouth where, after a shaky ten minutes we suddenly played exceptionally football and took the lead. Then Bournemouth scored a fortunate equaliser and our heads dropped and instinctively we knew that another game would slip from our grasp. Instead of making changes at half time Marco continued with a dejected team against a revitalised home side being roared on by their supporters. Marco appeared transfixed, like a rabbit caught in the headlights of a car, unable to move whilst Bournemouth rampaged score two quick goals to seal the game. Only then did he make the substitutions which was very much akin to bolting the stable door after the horse has bolted. I trust we will see a different line up today and that the players sweat blood and earn their inflated pay packets for a change. Harsh maybe but, in my opinion a true assessment.

Without a striker, we won’t have a focal point and like the last two games, it will be difficult to get into Arsenal’s final third and finally, I am a bit concerned Leno, who has single handedly saved us from so many defeats, has lost his form a little bit. So only thing that’s left, and unlikely be any magic from smith rowe - is from Marco coming up with a shape that will surprise Arsenal.

Slightly harsh JohnC in as much England have an unbeaten record, have not conceded a goal and have already qualified for the World Cup.. However, I agree there has been little interest or excitement and having watched all the matches I found it difficult to remain focus for the whole of the games. So far, we have played non-entities and would have beaten teams such as Andorra and Latvia by double figures in our prime years. The worrying thing in the last game against Latvia was the defence which was exposed on a number of occasions by extremely fast breaks which could and should have led to goals. In my opinion Latvia should have scored two or three goals which would have made it interesting. Frankly, the performance against Andorra was pitiful to watch and even the most optimistic fans would have found it difficult to put a positive slant on our victory. It would be interesting for other posters who watched all of the matches for their comments.

As they say you can only beat what is In front of you, but we have dominated the games and have improved each match. It is also not just possession we are creating a lot of chances and scoring a lot of goals. We have also not conceded a goal so all in all it has been and increasingly good England. It will not be easy against against better teams but learning how to attack and defend and to keep on winning give us a big confidence advantage. We must have a very good chance of winning the World Cup.
