I look forward to what Howard Webb has to say about the reason why the VAR overturned an on field decision to disallow a goal that now everyone agreed was offside, including the goal scorer himself. Apparently, I just read that was disallowed because the line is within the margin of error by the automated system (4cm). If that’s the case, why over turn the on field decision. I don’t want to jump on the corruption banner but is it very frustrating that the VaR team lack any common sense. It does feel they want to find reasons to favour Liverpool!

So Liverpool's offside goal was allowed to stand today, when it was so obviously offside, as it was shown on MOTD. According to that decision, surely ESR's goal should have stood, as it was only Chucky's toe nail that was offside, when it could have been a winning goal against Palace, which was less offside then Liverpool's goal today. If Chucky had been a Liverpool player, that goal would have stood. It's the small club, big club syndrome, which makes me sick.

If Liverpool's goal had been given offside who to say that would mean they would try even more. we did well to get a draw is it better not to see it that way. I am sure the moaning is being done by those who were not their or had left before Harrison scored his brilliant equaliser.

TTIN we did NOT do well to get a draw, we were the better side. Not just my opinion either. As far as the goal is concerned, MOTD explained it clearly when I watched the game back this morning. Seems unfair now but you win some and lose some I guess. If you think we did well to get a draw then maybe YOU didn’t see the full 90 minutes.

Why have we not been informed of this 4or5 CM rule before now it just makes a total nonsense of anything you hear from the the people running our game it seems to me they make it up to suit themselves I would honestly be in favour of allowing goals when you are only a toenail offside but it leaves it open dare I say some dubious decisions
Personally I would love to see VAR scrapped maybe have four Linesmen instead

F**k the line. Everyone could see , with that old favourite the naked eye that that was offside . Little Britain got it right, Computer says! We’re being ruled by people afraid of their own shadow, ably assisted by machines.

I was at Fulham on a very cold night and Liverpool passed better than us, controlled the game better, had more possession, and created more chances. We played our hit and run game brilliantly and deserved our draw with that goal of the season equalizer.

TTIN, I concur with your view of the match. We forced the pace in the first half but Liverpool took the second half with their better passing. A draw was what I was expecting and that what we got.

I think that something similar has been mentioned before, but after our win at Burnley, and our 3 players went off to AFCON, I honestly thought that if we could manage 6 points from the next 5 games, we would do very well, but we have picked up an amazing 11 points, stayed unbeaten, and eased our way comfortably from the bottom 3. In fact 3 more wins will give us that magic 40 points, and pure safety again in the Premier League. The fact is, it's going to be very difficult for the bottom 3 teams, even to get into the mid 30's points wise.
