I took the decision not to renew my season ticket, because I don’t think I love the team Fulham have become. I’m old and enjoyed Fulham from the fifties and even the bad times in the seventies and eighties. I feel the something special that was Fulham has gone. The new ground is what is required for the Club to progress, but to me it’s lost it’s character. The fans I think are different, they reflect the modern sort of standing at away games, and are even getting a reputation for causing trouble. I know it’s me just being sentimental and the team is better off with crowds of 20,000 plus than the few thousands we used to get. The one thing I will always keep is the memories, and of course I’ll always watch them on TV and want them to do well for the new fans. I now await a lot of sarcasm and criticism

I know how you feel Ernie I go back even further than you do. But try as I have done
through the years I cannot shake off the Fulham
disease. It's been a tough slog but there
have been some exciting times and some excellent players have given us as much pleasure as misery! Once a Fulham man always
a Fulham man! Sorry should I say 'person'?

I know what you mean Ernie, the last game I saw was our 3-0 win over Preston that ensured promotion but I didn't see any of the goals. What the point having seats when people won't sit in them? I can't jump up and down so I'm relegated to being an armchair fan nowadays.

Ancient Chris, you’re right, sometimes you think if I only could let it go; but you just can’t shake it off. Laying awake at night after a loss putting them in peril, or laying awake thinking about a big game coming up. And Nigel, you can never replace the atmosphere, but at least watching it on tv you can see the game. As I said it just isn’t the same for me personally

I have lived a long life and seen a lot of change most of it for the good. Fulham has hardly changed at all in that time. I am in the JH stand where the facilities have got worse not better in that time. The toilets being the worst example, horrible. If we are ever going to be a bigger club we more capacity and the new stand is a start. The old Riverside was an ugly monstrosity and the new stand is a big improvement. I cannot see why that would put anyone off going, in fact quite the opposite.

I am with you ERNIE and ANCIENT CRISS on those points the excitement reading and seeing the opposition stars and just as they kicked off climbing over the railings and sitting on the cinder track surrounding the pitch. Watching my favourite players, especially Bedford Jezzard. No
season ticket either for me this season

Old times alway seem great been coming since 1960 some were poor but I was hooked, loved last season. Some may thing we not got great players but I think there a great bunch of lads

I say it as it is, don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. After a season like the last one you lot decide "it's not like it was". Get lost, the club doesn't need fans like you and you'll probably only be around another 5 years or so, so it's hardly a loss is it. Good riddance to the lot of you moaners.

Bobby, I never criticised the Club or the direction it’s taking, just expressing my views and feelings. I wish nothing but the best for Fulham and hope they achieve all the Club’s ambitions. Perhaps the way you have responded, typifies the sort of new fans Fulham (and the game generally) now attracts and is one of the reason a lot of older fans don’t feel part of it anymore. All the best for the new season

We don't get such vitriolic comments from others that come on our board, as this statement from the
so called Fulham supporter bobby. An apology would not go amiss.

Life evolves and so does football. It's like a marriage for better for worse. Because someone doesn't like how football has developed, like ownership, money, diving, var and dubious refereeing, that in my opinion is not a reason to surrender your season ticket. I would understand more if you stated that you were financially stressed or physically unable to attend because of your age.
When we got relegated in 2013, I never dreamt that we would ever return to the top division in my life time, but we have 3 times. It's now time for the younger generation , but there's room for you and I as well.

This scumbag is not a fan of the club at all, he is a thick moronic creep who thinks it is clever to upset genuine supporters. We have all had arguments with each other in the past, but as Fulham fans we don’t get abusive and wish posters death. What an Appalling little man you are Bobby. Do us all a favour and go back to your cesspit and wallow in your disgusting comments.

Bobby, you're exactly what's wrong, it's not the football we're complaining about, it's the selfish few who ruin it for the masses. I'd be there all the time if people would stop refusing to use the seats. It never used to be so bad. Stadiums are designed so everyone can see if they use the seats properly. We never used to have you culture at the Cottage. It's come from the modern age of self, self, self

Wow I'd love to know what planet you lot live on! "Vile & Horrible" "slime ball" "sick w@nker" "scum" "moronic creep" & "appalling little man" I have read and re-read my comments and fail to see how I could have stirred such emotions for calling out a poster who is a bigoted bore for failing to support the team after the year we have just had. Then we have Scout who is one the most outspoken anti Khan/Marco posters and fails to see the joy in just about anything. And Gaz, can you point out where I wished for anyone's death? No I thought not. You lot are exactly what the club doesn't need, you can f@#k off the lot of you. I will continue to post and to call out all you pathetic, moaning, asswipes as and when i see fit. You need to man up. Grumpy old men are fine but you lot are worse than a bunch of rent seeking entitled millennials, I feel sorry for your families if this is what they have to look up to.

Don't post much, but what a horrible cretin this bobby is. Never thought i see the day when a Fulham supporter ranted such vile abuse. A good call for a moderator

Bobby, I couldn’t care if you want to keep posting on this site and call real fans out. None of them will take notice of a mug like you. Your behaviour yesterday has highlighted what you are, a nasty waste of breath, get lost.

I know the toilet situation is bad But it must of been worse in the day's of 35,000 plus crowds my dad told me you had to take your inner tube with you so you could pee down it so it landed on the terrace ,of course cut it to length!

That's OK Boy George you'll keep. I'm happy to meet you and all you other knobs in the Eight Bells before the Liverpool game. Look for the FFC shirt with Zamora on the back and introduce yourselves. Of course you won't, you're sh!t scared and don't go to games anyway.

Being an ex marine there's not much that scares me , least of all you ! But threatening someone via a key board is cowardly! As if I'm gonna travel up from my home in Cornwall just to meet some herbert like you , who no doubt wont be there anyway is laughable !

Yet again you fail to read a post correctly. Explain where I threatened you? And there we have it. You live in Cornwall and don't attend games.. You stay down there in the Duchy Ducky, enjoy the clotted cream and pasties, it's safer that way.
