…with this World Cup and all the games in the middle of the night. Never thought I’d not want to watch an England competitive game but I honestly can’t get up for it - not even tonight. I realise the tournament has worldwide appeal and that games have to be at a reasonable time but it’s killed it for me to be honest.

Agreed 9pm is very late. A nice cup of Horlicks and an early night gets my vote

Like you MST, I can't really get involved in this years WC, because of the time difference. I suppose wherever in the world it is played, the time limitations will effect some countries, and this time it's our turn. I am not an early to bed person, so 9pm tonight will be fine for me, but any later than that, would be beyond even me. We usually struggle in our opening games, so I hope it's not going to be a disappointing start tonight, with long faces on here tomorrow morning.

It’s the World Cup,some games are 2/3am so count yourself lucky, some people spent thousands to be out there let’s see if Harry Kane is up there with Mbappe,Harland and Messi I can’t wait although a bit like Fulham it’s the hope that kills you.

More fool those that spent thousands to watch a couple of football matches. My money has better deserving causes.

Hardly. ST gets you 19 games not two or three and mine in JH still less than a grand.

Simple solution , play the World Cup only in Europe, better still in England!
The message is in the description “ World”.
You’re either interested or your not.
Cricket tends to be played in different time zones. As do world Championship boxing, Olympics and many others.

1st world problems. There is this thing called The Interweb, you can watch all the games at any time of the day or night. Try it, you might like it.

There is a thing called catch up and another called recording. We hardly watch anything live on TV now.

Jeez, some people have better things to do than be glued to the TV or laptop all day and night. It’s a football game, at the end of the day.

He’s right MST, you do seem to be on your laptop, iPad on a pretty regular basis everyday. Each to his own and we mustn’t be too judgmental.

Just noticed MST, have you reverted to your role as Moderator?
I thought you’d given up your supervisory role. Maybe I have missed something somewhere along the line.
