Marco left less than three weeks ago and although I believe it was unprofessional not to have done some prior ground work on his replacement, I’m glad the club are taking their time to get the right person in. If it is Arbeloa, I believe that will be a good appointment. If you think back to some of our greatest managers (Stock, Keegan, Roy, Jokanovic, Adam’s, etc.) most of them came without massive experience in managing a club like ours). Raul past his sell by date, Wilson past his best, Asari not good enough for the first team so I’m not bothered they’ve gone. Assume Chuck will be signed on a permanent deal and we always do our transfer business late to save on wages so I’m quite relaxed about everything at the moment. I’ll start panicking in August.

Why are you all afraid that FFC will not have sufficient players for the coming season. We have Rodrigo Munzi as our main striker so what could go wrong!

Perhaps you’re too young to have experienced it Mal but Kevin Keegan managed Fulham for 59 matches across all competitions, securing a record of 38 wins, 11 draws, and 10 losses. Averaging a massive 2.12 points per match, his highly successful tenure saw us clinch the 1998-99 Football League Second Division title with a club-record 101 points. If that’s not great, what is?

Got real
What about Tigana, Keegan rubbish, Asari never given a chance. Not sure if Chuck will sign and by August most of the decent players will have been signed up by other clubs.
As usual we are dragging our heels.

MST , I’m in my 60s and of the many Fulham managers I’ve personally met Keegan was the only one who totally blanked me ! On that basis I don’t like him.

Best three for for me starting with no 1 is Tigana ,Roy ,Adams
Tough because of Roy’s European adventure and Micky before Fayed started with money

Agree with Mst, and my personal favourite is Slavisa, i can't help it. I hold fond memories of our promotion and it was one of the best prom days for me. Shame Slavisa and style couldn't do it in the prem but i still love the guy, even though i could not understand a word he was saying half the times.

Slavisa got us promoted then young Tony went and signed a load of mercenaries. Slav should've been allowed to give his promotion winning players a chance. Watching USA against Turkey and seen nothing from Pepi to suggest he's the answer to our striker problem.

I think Fulham were trying to resign Marco to the last, it would have been traitorous to be searching for a replacement at the same time. Until this hugely drawn out World is complete nothing much happens with the squad anyway. Patience is a virtue not a failing. Keep looking on the official Fulham site for truth not some untruthful media unit.

Traitorous???!!! This is football and Marco did exactly the same. The club not having a contingency plan when the contract was on the table for months is down right negligent - there's no other word for it and TTIN you are very naïve.

TTIN obviously enjoys a gin or six. Or he’s actually that stupid.

The manager knows everything that goes on in the Club he would have known if Fulham were looking for a replacement and that would mean he would not feel not wanted.

As I wrote TTIN, you're very naïve…

Open secret that silva was going maybey the powers that be should have told not to extract the urine and told him if he did not sign they would put him on gardening leave till his contract run out then sent him on his way. In the meantime if the Madrid man was there choice make joint plans to see what he wanted
