We are doing OK given injuries and AFCO CUP players but we still need to strengthen the squad . Its all gone very quiet OK which comes across as complacency from the board . Not sure who is responsible for brining players to the table to receive their welcome letter from Khan . Cant think it is still Talbot . Whatever you think of B'Mouth , Brentford and Brighton , their recruitment - and sell on price - rate is impressive .

We are fortunate to have a squad made up of quite good players,so there is no point in bringing in a quite good player, we have to go for a very good player. Problem.

So Manchester City have agreed to buy Mark Guehi from C Palace, for a £20m fee, plus they have already paid out over £60m to Bournemouth for Semenyo, and all this while on a transfer embargo, so how the hell are they allowed to get away with it, while a club like Fulham have to be careful, not to spend one penny over the limit ? It looks like we we will be buying Pepi from om PSV, despite his having a broken arm, and he will miss about 6 weeks. This is obviously the beginning of plans for next season already. Is this a hint, that Marco will be signing a new contract ?

What a bargain, though,Mark Guehi for 20 million? One of the best deals of the season. We wouldn't get anybody half decent for that price, how do they do it?

If we can get Pepi with a broken arm on the cheap, it isn’t a bad deal. We need to look beyond this season and we definitely need another striker. So happy to get him and wait until March for him to play. So hopefully, we can get him for maybe 25m euros.

Can’t believe palace are letting there best player go for 20 mill is there a sell on clause contract running down should be 60 mill at least see there manager has had enough Sid he’s going for another project got a good idea where that is not good when a manager anouncing that he’s throwing in the. Towel in could be a turbulent time ahead

Yes' agree JohnC, if we can get Peps cheap, it is still a good deal. A broken arm is better than a broken foot in the long run. If we get him, let's hope he lives up to the hype etc.

AC since when have Man City been under transfer embargo? Have you been reading Reddit where apparently they have also been relegated to League one lol.

If he had a broken foot he wouldn’t be able to do a long run.

Wilson will be gone for free in a few months, sometimes clubs don’t get a choice.

Professional football is like any other business if you have to make at least enough money to break even, FIFA may let you get in debt to a certain level but eventually you have to break even eventually. Like all in business, money is essential and the main driver of every aspect of it.
