It should be us playing arsenal today we are safe in the prem marco underestimated Southampton there is nothing better than a good cup ran for the fans hopefully if he stays it will be different next season

We are not playing Arsenal tonight, because Marco was so cocky with those 9 changes, and apart from Southampton's penalty on the day, we would still have won. We would have probably have lost to Arsenal anyway, as Southampton will tonight.

Well Craven, you got that wrong, and I must admit I did as well, as I had quite a good bet on a draw. Sickening. What a lousy Cup Final this is going to be, as they might as well give it Manchester City now, to save a lot of time.

Southampton fans, must be loving it at the moment, with their team knocking out two top London, Premier League clubs, and certainly deserving it over the two matches, despite our so called attackers having 27 chances to score against them. Does this mean that there is little difference between the Premier League, and the Championship, and in my opinion, the answer has got to be a resounding, no. Of course teams like ourselves, Brentford, Villa, Bournemouth and at present Leeds, have knocked the trend of a quick return to the Championship, but none of us, have gone on to challenge for the title. No, it's always a great season, if we meet that 40 point mark, and those 40 points, are our trophy for the season. Coventry looked odds on to win the Championship title this season, but they, along with whoever are promoted with them, and I include Southampton, in that, if they do make it, will be looking down this time next season, along with this seasons surprise, Sunderland as well. Once again our trophy will be a mid table finish. Overall, the Championship, although quite entertaining, and very competitive, does not compare in any way with the Premier League.

Southampton beat us in the same way as they beat Arsehole defend brilliantly and break with purpose when you can. Tactically very clever but very simple. A young manager with bright ideas. They would be a credit to the Premier League, unlike Millwall the destructure.

So ,we did not do to bad did we ,? one lousy penalty cost us ,but last night soton looked twice as good as when we played them, fast in there face and just keep the ball moving over the top seems to work instead of tippy tap crap all the time, well done soton fairs fair. .

We were much worse v West Ham. We didn’t take our chances v Southampton and they defended well. Don’t think the changes made much difference. We gave bad goal away end of game but been doing that a lot this season. We gave them a harder game than Arsenal. It was very annoying to lose but that’s cup football. But they looked good v Arsenal and worked hard against us and got the breaks
