Why is it that so many selfish people are still sat in their cars at supermarkets waiting for their partners to come back with the shopping with their engines running, pumping sh1t into the atmosphere and increasing the temperature in their locality. When are some people going to get it that greenhouse gasses are the reason we are suffering these high temperatures in summer and floods in winter. Rhetorical question!!

Why are you using the Internet, powered by huge data centers pumping sht into atmosphere? Why do you believe that a few cars in the parking lot will make a difference when india and China, for example, pump endless amounts constantly that make those cars look like a drop in the ocean? Why do you believe that a few heat waves prove personal vehicles are the cause for climate change? Why do you believe a crisis won't push innovation? Grow up. Learn science. I'm tired of your unscientific misinformation, is dangerous

He's got you there mst, I do know what you mean though. The people who run their engines are rude. But it's ridiculous to blame heat waves on them. Ridiculous to believe all this alarmism.

They're probably sitting in their cars with the air conditioning on full blast to keep nice and cool in this lovely hot weather, can't see what the problem is with that whereas people who travel all over the globe in aeroplanes are a much bigger cause of global warming and should be limited to one flight every 5 years and should be made to pay as much fuel duty as drivers have to pay instead of being heavily subsidised.

I gave up my car to be non selfish. Now i get so much abuse even when im in the cycle lane. I am getting to the point where i wanna say stuff you all. I noticed how many people travelled long and far to see the eclipse. Earthy people too.

“The global warming refusenik”
Global warming? Load of b**locks. There’s nothing wrong with the ice caps: their neighbour’s cousin’s missus went to Lapland last Christmas, and there was loads of snow. As for the wildfires, they’re a conspiracy. Some plank – probably foreign – didn’t stub their cigarette out. Happens every summer. They don’t know why everyone’s complaining, frankly: 37°C is perfect weather for sunbathing, which is why they’re spending the afternoon in the Costa del back garden, splayed out on a lounger like Ray Winstone in Sexy Beast, right down to the canary yellow micro-trunks. Which saves the plane trip to Lanzarote, so don’t you dare tell them they’re not doing their bit for the environment.”

Well my story is that i am a getaway driver, and feel that it is more advantageous to keep ones engine running. That in turn becomes a habit in my everyday life. I will however try to be more considerate, except perhaps when I am at work.

He thought he was being clever with the sarcastic post about lapland, made himself look a fool instead. It really is so boring having to help people understand that climate change is complex. Come on mst, bud, I thought you were better

Clearly mst doesn't know where is food comes from. Probably not a vegan or vegetarian so contributing to meat pollution . What a bell

Yes you'll have to wait 5 years to come back to blighty or alternatively you can catch a dinghy back home which of course is far more environmentally friendly especially if you recycle your vessel and life jacket

No evidence at all vehicle emissions affect the climate. It’s been changing since the big bang, hotter and colder, different cycles over millennia. I suppose the Neanderthals driving their 4X4s caused the ice age or the dinosaurs burning coal led to them dying out. It’s scaremongering.
