Let’s hope we can keep the scouse4s at bay. Pity Liverpool didn’t fancy him before we got in there, getting sick and tired of then arseholes keep unsettling our players. Perhaps he can see and learn from the likes of carvaliho, Elliott and Robert’s that the grass isn’t always greener, forgot Sessignon as well. Obviously he will be sold at massive profit at some stage as probably Fulham will prove a stepping stone to bigger things. Still hopefully Sammy boy will become permanent deal as he does look the business. Much needed win Saturday, and hopefully confidence boosting for players and staff. Inwards and upwards, great to have Anderson back.

Carvelho hardly ever gets a look in at Brentford, and only got 4 minutes against Palace at the end, and Harvey Elliot, who I presume is still with Villa, unless he is injured, is not even a bench man. So you scousers, keep your envious eyes off of any more of our squad. Our next two opponents Sunderland and Everton, are playing each other this evening. No doubt they will be a feature of discussion, at training in the morning. I'm not impressed with either at the moment on Sky.

I doubt very much that we will be in a relegation fight, but nothing is impossible at this stage, but we do need to put away our chances, and stock giving away late goals, as against Bournemouth, and Newcastle. We should as CRAVEN says, finish safely, but I will be more confident if we are 14th at Christmas.

posted by Ben O'Gun. (Guest) - Saturday 01st November 2025, 8:33 PM A well needed 3 points and yes a bit calamitous at the back sometimes and they missed a golden chance 1-0 down with a man sent off. We must build from this now and we are back on the road up to Everton and it will be a good test to see how much stronger in improvement we are. We have to keep in mind that Wolves are a bottom team who are a touch nervy at the back but we still struggle to break them down with our team of dribblers. Kevin can be frustrating sometimes but he is undroppable with his silky skills. Chukwueze proved the best dribbler when he came on with that amazing run in the penalty area but the finish was not to be. Wilson was looking frustrating putting in corners that nothing materialises but 100% forgivable when he comes up with a fine goal that lights up stadiums. Sessegnon has an amazing ability to find space at the right time and he scored a well-deserved goal considering that he plays at left back. The left back position is Robbo's for certain but Sessegnon knows too much to be dropped from this squad and its a case of more of our guys stepping up to the plate to rival his goal tally. I think we are guilty of over-hitting passes a few times but Everton will be a good test to see if we can improve and beat teams better up the ladder. Our slackness at the back needs tightening up and again better teams will take the initiative if we continue to gift chances. The return of Andersen is good news and i think Bassey had one of his better games, our big man is a very important component in our team. Even so, this was a good win considering that Wolves scored 3 against Chelsea and lost out 4-3, so we can lift our heads up from the dark clouds and win the next two games which are Everton and Sunderland, then Tottenham and Man City which is a good running order from the weakest to the best in Man City. Sunderland i grade better than Everton because i think Régis Le Bris their Manager is decent and he will go on to lead a top team if results keep improving. Infact i look forward to Sunderland at home and it will be interesting to see if Marco Silva with the most managed clubs comes out tops over Regis with two professional clubs to his name. Regis i think is a very astute picker of players from a pool of players available to all managers at the start of the season and he has a good eye for players.

Even if that works if a Fulham match is shown on main TV in the USA Peacock cannot show it live. You could subscribe to ESPN who will show it but the cost rises. Obviously this what I have heard from others not what I do.

Tete back tomorrow most likely and hope Bassey has put his nightmare performance behind him. Looking for a rock-solid display from Bassey, he is a top player and he will bounce back. Game scene and set looks primed for Traore to bring his 'A' game to his former club. We have plenty of good attacking options with the likes of Kevin and Sessegnon linking up but we need more cohesion and cut-throughs and goals. Would like to see a performance from Smith Rowe at some point in this one, contrary to opinions i think he has plenty ability and there is a lot more to come from him. No more talk, let's just do the business!!!

I am a born optimist but am concerned for the club due to the attitude of the people running it with baby Khan more involved with his wrestling outfit which is now getting exposure on television. We are missing key players which has obviously affected performances although, so are Spurs and they are doing alright. This is a team game but, at times the sloppiness of our passing you might wonder if some of our players were in league with the opposition. Despite all of this I am going for a narrow victory for us even though we might struggle to assert our authority on a team desperately fighting for survival. Pray that we will see a fighting performance from our players or take the bended knee.

They have beaten us once so far but it wasn't a walk-over. If and when we ever get our act together we can beat anyone, including an out-of-sorts Liverpool who are starting to look flaky. The premier league is serving up some unexpected results and surprises and the lack of consistency among the top clubs. Muniz who Newcastle showed a big interest with might be back for this one and Tete who needs to get himself fit good and proper. This Newcastle team don't look the strongest and the table shows that. We can do better, but we need a tactical master-class from the likes of Marco so let's start against Wolves at the weekend.

As documented below a dire performance against a struggling bottom of league 1 side. Credit to Wycombe for the way therapy played and taking us all the way, but the squad we have should still beat these sides more convincingly. Lack of urgency and wanting to attack quickly, especially I’d Traore is playing, usual fannying around at the back as I posted earlier and inability to break down 9-10 man defense if we make into there half. Lecnte, played well and good cover keeper, Diop was solid and dependable again, Cuenca looked good while on pitch. Can understand Silvia’s comments etc but need to accommodate different style of play. Think we are too predictable going forward, always down left hand side and not quick enough in transition. Need to be more forward positive.

Our not scoring is not his problem and the blame should not be on him for our lacklustre performance. Our problem in the box is movement and the likes of Jimenez and the young German who came on have to learn better movement, get in front of the defender for instance. Dont stand in the penalty area expecting a pin-point cross to head etc. Paddy' with no Smith Rowe in the mix, why not comment on some players who are not putting in a shift or playing badly as Smith Rowe who you don't like. The team is bigger than Smith Rowe.

Felt a bit sorry for Kevin and Traore, yes Traore, between them they put in quite a few passable crosses but there was no one there to take advantage. All a bit disjointed. Well done Lecomte ,saved our blushes and mentions for Sess and King, who really is classy, I wonder if he’ll ever bulk up like Ryan did. Would be someone to reckon with. Almost forgot to mention Cuenca who I think will be serious player in the next few years. But overall a pretty awful team display.

Football is about winning, so far this season we have played well and lost so playing badly and winning is progress. Thank goodness for Diop and penalties, well done Leconte for penalty saves. Yet again another poor performance, we should be all over these teams but still we piss about at the back and around the halfway line allowing the opposition to get 9 -10 men behind the ball and we lack the ability or class player to break it down. Would love to know how much of our possession and passes are between back 5, including keeper when we see end of game stats. We should attack these sides and not constantly look at passing back and sideways keeping possession. Looking at the other results Brentford managed to put 5 past their lower league opposition it’s a shame we can’t do that. Still await Wolves on Saturday and hopefully three league points, please.

I have been saying all along, that any other team of our standing would have lost all of those fixtures on current form. Had we played West Ham, Wolves, and Burnley, we would be half way up the table by now. We have in fact beaten Leeds and Brentford as we would have been expected to, but the real tests are the next three games, against Wolves(who we lost to last season)Everton, who we usually do well against, and Sunderland, who are surprising everyone, but they won't surprise us, as we will know what to expect now. Yes, being in the bottom 4 is a concern, but we are not too downbeat just yet, and providing our injured players return we will be just fine. MST you and I have been these periods of losing over the years, in fact without looking at my records, there was a period the last time we were at the top table league, we went 13 games with just one win, and so far we have won 2 out of 9 with more to follow.

We are certainly missing Munez, albeit a rough diamond, who has the ability to unhinge defences with his strength and tenacity. Since his injury our record has been poor and once he and Wilson are match fit I expect to see an improvement. In the meantime we have to utilise what resources we have and I believe both Kevin and Smith Rowe should start against Wycombe together with our loanee centre forward. This is an ideal game to blood a couple of young strikers from the under 21 team who might surprise some of us. If we don’t blood them in these games we will never be able to assess their potential. Please Marco give them some playing time.

Jim is exactly the same. I do appreciate the views of others but it grinds you down when the posters I mentioned above NEVER have anything positive to say about the club regardless of any owner, manager and playing staff. Even wins and draws do not miss out on the negativity. On the flip side, I and some others also get fed up with TTIN always justifying everything the club does as positive. I’m not over the moon with our start to the season but it really isn’t the end of the world and there are several positives that can balance out some of the negatives. Our season so far (in my opinion) can be defined by individual mistakes, VAR errors and sheer bad luck but things can only get better. If some supporters expect every game to be classy football culminating in big victories, then they really are supporting the wrong club (and I don’t necessarily include Bish in that observation).

You will already at that point have condemned in your mind anything they will have written. Simples, to borrow one your sillier phrases. I agree with Bish and I believe you to be wrong. As yet we are not in those dreaded places, but as all of us fans know, a couple of wins and up we go, but it is those two wins that are vital. It's a long season, so a lot can change, and will, so no long faces just yet, as our bad luck with VAR and injuries will change.

Sunderland has secured promotion through Régis, who has recruited from the same pool as Marco and teams around us. We all know deep down that you don't necessarily need to spend big; you just need to pick the right player for a particular position and know how to get the best from them. I genuinely believe that and maybe a good second in your coaching set-up will go a long way. It begs the question, are we missing Boa Morte more than we know at this time? My post will be irrelevant if we soon to start winning again.

That club, along with the likes of Brighton and Brentford, have a sustainable model of player recruitment, laughing at the ‘bigger’ clubs and the sums they spend.

We went to the same school, along with the likes of George Cohen after the war , in Fulham, 400 yards from the ground and have been solid, hell and high water supporters of Fulham for 70 years. We both have very close personal connections with club for a total of 140 years between us. So I promise we can bring much more to the comments than many many others based up an enormous fund of knowledge. If Bish thinks it, it’s valid and dissenters should reappraise their assessments and critique. Everyone is entitled to their view Bishop’s is more valid than yours. Please resist the temptation to criticise someone who had masses more experience than you supporting Fulham. And I prefer not to be patronised.

Intentional offence yes, but unintentional never:) Bish is a curmudgeonly old git, as am I, annd oft expressed grievances are borne of a genuine long standing and enduring love for the club. We were both born within spitting distance of the club and aren’t just fans we are born and breed Fulhamites, frustrations might be heightened by that association. My school lunchtime breaks were regularly spent down at the Cottage talking to the players of the day and regularly chatting with good old Tommy Trinder in whose big blue Bentley we would luxuriate whilst he regaled us with many an amusing story, when he had the time of course. Other times just a wave of acknowledgment. A great guy , as were most of the players who we’d watch train, which seemed to involve running up and down the terrace a lot. Then they’d be off down the Crabtree for a few recuperative pints and the odd fag. I tell you this rubbish so that you’ll appreciate our dissatisfaction and frustration when we see things going tits up, as we believe things currently are. Being called anything other than a Fulham fan hurts.Anyway fingers crossed and onwards, and hopefully,upwards.

All our players do not seem to be playing as well as last season. It is not much but it is enough for us to loose rather than win. We have a lot of injuries I suspect we also have lot of players in the team who are not match fit. The other factor could be the tricks Marco does to make most of the team to play better than you might expect have been found out by the squad who are not fooled anymore.

Any kick-outs were straight back in and a pile in of more pressure which leads to mistakes. I am sorry to be saying this now more than ever, it is down to the Manager to tweak it, turn things around and get back into the game. Marco Silva is devoid and found lacking of ideas at the moment and game losses are racking up and i would expect the chairman to start looking and thinking if you know what i mean. I was rooting for Smith Rowe and he had the one good chance to score but he didn't. I put this down to lack of games and minutes on the pitch, Paddy will say something different i expect...

I don't agree with a lot of our posters, that we have suddenly become a bad side, but certainly things have not gone in our favour since the start of the season, and it seems to be knocking our players confidence, as even when we score a good goal, or don't get the justified penalty. Even the press have sympathy for us at times. West Ham, and Wolves, are really bad sides, and we are not down to that level just yet, but beating Wolves on Saturday, is a must result game, as even myself Owen, MST, and Bigboy will start to have our doubts. We should take a good few points from our next three games, and then things will not seem to rocky.

Not lost faith in Marco and there is ample time to turn it around and i hope he does when injuries like Robinson and Muniz clear up. Interest in this guy Regis at Sunderland is just interest and let's see how far and how successful he is at Sunderland. I like his under the radar profile because he has spent more time around juniors and youth teams than he has in management. What is also interesting is that all clubs are in with the same chance for buying players on the market at the start of the season and i mean clubs around us. There will be players that Regis and Sunderland have purchased which we have overlooked and moved on. This guy Regis seems to know how to identify talent that can come into Sunderland and make them tick, that is a rare talent and i think if Sunderland not only survive in their first season and go on to finish higher up and maybe above Newcastle? Regis will be gold nugget dust and top clubs will be after him. I don't know his buy-out fee, and if he is the real deal we will not get him. I am careful to say all this if Marco Silva is toast. For the record i think Marco and Fulham will turn it around for the better. Our close game and form and loss to Chelsea shows me that. Lastly, something in the back of my mind tells me that there is more to come from the likes of Smith Rowe and our your star Josh King who runs about and he is a tryer. Could someone like Regis get more out of these young stars? I am tempting fate and the wrath of die hard Fulham faithfuls now so i bid you farewell...

posted by OWEN - Sunday 26th October 2025, 12:19 AM So refreshing how all the teams are so unpredictable,a very long way to go the long throw and keepers being restricted to 8 seconds to get rid of the ball as well as VAR have almost transformed the game. The standard of the premier league is head and shoulders above any other league so to keep up with other teams is getting harder every season. I wouldn’t panic yet nobody wants 4 losses on the bounce but I’m confident we will climb the table.

Normally, we hog the ball but today our first instinct was to kick out into danger areas and straight back to Newcastle players without thinking. Sometimes it happens to the best and Chelsea against us were brilliant yet not so good against Sunderland. I am still confident that we can play better than todays level and we will pick up points sooner than later. My only worry now is for Marco to rally our boys together and instil some confidence to our boys who look tentative sometimes.

posted by OWEN - Saturday 25th October 2025, 8:26 PM I didn't go to the game, so I can only rely on the highlights on MOTD, or our official website, and once again it seemed that we did play pretty well again, with the exception of Bassey, who had a poor game, and possibly cost us at least a point, which is a shame. Hopefully we will get back on track against Wycombe in midweek, and then follow up wins against Wolves, Everton, and Sunderland.

Marco is very short of fit players and took a risk that did not pay off. We are loosing games narrowly I believe we will soon start winning narrowly when our best players return.

Bad call again from Marco and i am not Castange's biggest fan but maybe he should have played first half and maybe up to 68 minutes?

Any other club of our standing, with our injuries, and bad decisions, would have the same results. Calm down, we have a bunch of winnable games coming up, and then our smiles will be back on our faces.

If this was May, then you might have a good point, but it is far too early, for any club to forecast who will be in a relegation fight. West Ham and Wolves, look in early trouble, but they could both go on good runs, and climb up the table.

Our narrow defeat to Arsenal isn't bad form, we still are decent even with so many injuries. We are going up there with more than a good chance.
