So how long before pensions are mean tested,as i read we are paying out a fortune on pensions to people who dont need it , million quid and plus in bank we pay them a few hundred quid a week, crazy it amounts to over a billions a year so i read , not my words or thoughts but wondered how the older folk feel on this site ?. Does it seem right kids cant buy a house or pay rent when older folk get triple lock rises, and this is about millions of folk who own properties all earned i know by hard work, but think about the entertainment world all those over 60s getting state pensions ??? just some thing to muse over till west ham .

Regardless of your means, if you pay NI all your working life you should always be entitled to state pension otherwise, what’s the point??

Kids can’t buy a house because too many people are chasing too few houses. Think the phrase too many people is important. Labour was purportedly the champion of the working class but it appears they want to concentrate on imported non working individuals who will drain the system more quickly and efficiently than British pensioners ever will. Tories are the same but Labour will accelerate the process. Immigration and net zero will destroy the UK and some idiot puts up a post blaming hard working pensioners. O’Doors is retiring early next year and the UK exchequer will get nothing from him from then onwards. They will not fritter another penny of mine on detritus.

I worked from the age if 14, so I have paid my taxes for every year of my working life, and I have lived under Labour, Conservatives and a coalition government, and by far the worst, have always been Labour governments, as they are rip off merchants, and always will be, and having this lot in charge is going be hell, over the next five and it will be like being in prison under a dictatorship under Mr flip flop, the awful Keir Starmer, and the even worse, the completely useless Rachel Reeves. They conned the electorate with their promises of change, and you Labour voters will now live to target it, as yes it is change, but a change for armageddon.

PS Pointless; my state pension is the higher amount of £12,380 pa because I paid the higher rate of NI for 30+ years. May I remind you that the minimum wage is nearly double that at c£23,000!!!! Just because I saved all my life as well so that I can live a little less stressfully, why should I give up my "few hundred quid a week". You should be ashamed of yourself for even considering such a post!! In addition, my wife worked for the NHS most of her life caring for people and saving lives, paying into a government pension that has been massively reduced by 65% under the last Labour government and has an additional state pension of £11,542 when she can eventually retire at age 67 (I will be 70)!! Today's society want everything given to them on a plate today and don't want to save and work hard for anything - your post reads like you may be sat in one of those seats pointless! Lastly, I would also like to point out that some of us had to hold down three jobs when interest rates were more than double what they are now in the 1980's!! Rant over but perhaps a better thought through argument from you next time!!

Reiss Nelson will be the dynamite that sparks us into action and all we need now is to integrate this kid into our way of playing and then wind him up put him out there and wooosh, watch him go! The loss of Dec Reed and Willian is a big loss in players that can turn a game around in an instance when we need them and you only know the reality and truth when it's gone and those guys are gone now. Our only problem is stumping up the 34 million and maybe more after Reiss makes a brilliant season and then we might have competition for his services. Dynamite kid Reiss Nelson is not the only component we need to really get our season ino gear, we also need the likes of our regular in-the-house players such as Pereira and Wilson to show up once in a while and make a difference. We have loads more competition for places now and some of our guys need to come out of their comfort zone and perform, work hard and score some goals. Yes' we know' Pereira and Wilson are not target men or strikers and that is a different subject that we need to address but i think these guys need to come up with some special dead-ball free-kicks we know they are capable of. My player of the moment is Adama Traore and i am amazed and pleasantly surprise how Marco Silva is getting the best from Traore who looks undroppable now he is finding his feet into our system. We are used to seeing Traore in bit parts and coming on for the odd few minutes to run a game down and i think he accepted this role for most of his career so far but now Marco can see what use Traore is capable of and by gosh, he is playing him more for 90 minutes and what a difference he is to us. Yes' we look a bit light in the striker department and the likes of Muniz and Jimenez look a bit goal-shy and some fans are in tears of despair and are at a loss to know where and when goals are coming from these two light-weights. I think Marco knows the capabilities of this Fulham team and set-up and with Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson, we should do okay for goals. I think the idea is to be patient and just roll with the jelly! When we eventually start clicking into gear, we will launch off just like a NASA rocket fired into space. Let's just hope we don't continue to mis-fire and we eventually spark a fire and launch off our season because so far we are a damp squib if truth be told. A hundred million plus misspent do you think so far this season? On the contrary 'Mr Bond' i think we will do exceedingly well. Watch this space!!!

Very optimistic!! Let’s wait and see. We learned our lessons the hard way with loan players. I can’t remember many done well in recent years except maybe Andersen. General problem if most of these loaned players have their own agenda (which I can understand) and whatever they say, their priority is not Fulham FC.

Just wanted to say the game on the 14th against West Ham with home advantage is tough and i think we will have to raise our levels and our game. They got a spanking from Man City and the big giant at his best already going into this season. West Ham created some good chances and coming away with a loss they should have gotten at least two goals. Our current game level is not good enough to beat the Hammers, Marco will have to change something...

Apart from last seasons 5-0 win over West Ham, they have been a bit of a bogey team to us, both at home and away, and to do the double over them, was quite unbelievable, so they will no doubt be looking out a bit of revenge. Saying that, we are no pushover now, and I will be a bit surprised, and rather disappointed, if we don't come out with at least a point from next weekend's encounter.

All the various hospitality options will open for Southampton game on Dec 21. i.e.two "Originals" lounges, Thames Bar, Gourmet lounge and the Skydeck. At the moment there is "The Dugout" facility as the only hospitality option open. As it is it's quite a scrum on the concourse on match days, so filling the middle sections, without the hospitality lounges open for them to go into, will tip another load of people into the general melee. So its hard to see the stand being fully open before then i.e. Dec 21

Adrion Pajaziti has joined Croatian side HNK Gorica on loan until the end of the season. This deal represents Adrion's second loan move, after the midfielder made 11 appearances for FK Haugesund in 2023. The 21-year-old scored in Fulham's 6-1 pre-season win against Watford, and also featured in games against Benfica and Sevilla in Portugal. Everyone at Fulham wishes Adrion the very best in Croatia.

Martial Godo has signed a new contract with Fulham. The 21-year-old has agreed terms on a deal that keeps him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2028. Joining from Margate in March 2022, Martial signed following a successful trial period, making his First Team debut five months later in a Carabao Cup tie at Crawley Town. Having signed a new contract at Fulham last summer, he spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, where he directly contributed to eight goals in 34 appearances, helping the Latics to a top half finish in League One. The 21-year-old featured heavily in our First Team during pre-season, earning minutes against Benfica, Sevilla and Hoffenheim. Martial Godo in action for Fulham against Watford After putting pen to paper on his new deal, Martial said: "I’m delighted and honoured to extend my stay at such an amazing and historic Club. I can only thank God for allowing this to happen. It's a proud moment for both my family and I. "Last season on loan at Wigan went very well considering it was my first senior professional season. It allowed me to grow, learn and adapt so much both on and off the pitch, which helped me better myself in my development as a professional. "I’m very pleased with last season and some of the experiences and friendships I gained while being out on loan. While there, I also had the honour of representing England, a privilege I will never forget. I’d like to thank everyone at the club, from the manager Shaun Maloney, to the spectacular fans who made my stay so special. "This season, I would like to make my Premier League debut, and a few more appearances, possibly chipping in with some goals and assists along the way. But mostly, I just want to keep growing and improving around the amazing coaching staff and players at this Club, giving myself the best possible chance to keep edging closer to showing the potential I have as a young player."

I hear Nuamah cried and ran away (probably to his mummy) at the thoughts of signing for Fulham. I hate to think if he had signed and then for him to hate to be at Fulham every day and every night! A £25m unhappy player isn’t a good investment. Clearly dodged a bullet!! On the subject of unhappy players - while Smith-Rowe said he’s really happy here, I find his body and facial language in games look like a player with regrets. Is it just me? I hope it’s just down to fitness and just how he looks!

My big concern on this is an agent pushing a young man (20) to do what he does not want to do to make money, when he’s ment to be looking after him. It seems if you watched it unfold on deadline day the player had know say as the agent had him going to Everton Forest and fulham while he tied to fill his pocket with cash. When are clubs going to stick together and refuse to use this agents. Yes the young man was weak when I was that age would have told him where to go and sacked him. Strange Anderson was under Tony’s watch when came on loan,we tried evidently to get matt target why overpriced often injured and too old for a good return on any outlet ,and is iwobi on our scouting dept with Rowe and neilson on loan from arsenal, perhaps he chattered them up to come to fulham that’s why he’s not been playing well to tired scouting arsenal failures, and then silva got jealous and sold stansfield because of his baby munis the no9 for fulham nickname mr softy.

Khan promised Marco a winger and we tried everywhere to get one and when time ran out, we got Neilson on loan. I suspect he was not on our top 3 or even 5 targets. We got Neilson on loan and if he’s rubbish, we’d just send him back so it was a good move under the circumstances. But silly to suggest Iwobi asked Khan to bring his friend (not even sure they are good mates) in. All signing decisions are made by Khan and Marco. It was a bit strange going for a Targett unless there was a risk of losing Robinson in the final days of the transfer window. Overall, it was a decent transfer window.

Then it will ask you for your user name and then hopefully it will tell you it has sent an activation email, which may end up in your junk box. If you find it just click on the link. If you are not registered then it should be fairly simple by clicking on the register box and follow the instructions. Unfortunately, more often than not it tells you “site failure, try again”. West Ham at home on the 14th after the international break will be interesting to say the least and it will be a proper game. We will need to raise our game to West Ham in a few weeks or we will get beat, its as simple as that. West Ham didn't take their chances against City who beat them 3-1 and i think maybe a 3-2 loss would have been fairer but there is no fairness in the game of football. I think it is time we give Joachim Andersen the vacant job of central defender pronto and also the captain role no ifs no buts, no arguments! Andersen needs no introduction and his vast experience is what we need now! My next suggestion is a controversial one but this guy has made an impact time and again before in the past and he is worth a punt. Sessegnon could be and should be slotted in the left side at midfield further up from Robinson where he can roam upfield at will. Sessegnon is a fine impact player and he can make things happen if given the chance. Sess came through more than 90 minutes against Birmingham and i thought, well done Marco' now bring him in for Ipswich, but he didn't. We need changes from the likes of Pereira who thinks it is a certain that he will play week in and week out. Sadly we have no more impact players that i can think of so we turn to a talented loanee wants again from Arsenal by the name of 'Reiss Nelson'!!! This kid is dynamic and fast, we need his quickness, his prowess, and his ability to link up set up and even score goals. Marco Silva needs to lose that Fulham players first tag and put these 3 in straight away, no arguments against West Ham. West Ham's best player for me is Jarrod Bowen and i wouldn't sell him for less than 100 mill. They have him and not sold him which is astounding, how do you keep a player like that being a smaller club? The one player for me who is undroppable is Adama Traore who is proving an impact player without the finishing touch sadly but he is still above a few of ours because of his pace and his assist isn't bad.
Replies
Sorry Owen, dont think Sess has enough to play the competition for places is hotting up. Castagne is pushing Tete Cuenca will be looking at Bassey's place, he can certainly knock a long ball very well as seen when playing against Birmingham. Andersen for Diop looks a certainty, once again the ability to supply long diagonals accurately the bonus.Berg and Lukic look to be the partnership in the middle with Berg's height the bonus. Forward players Iwobi Perrera and Smith-Rowe, Central strikers Muniz and Jiminez width supplied by Traore, Nelson and Wilson. Cairney, Reed and young King especially must be given game time. Don't think he will make the subs bench against West Ham.

Currently 11th in the table. Should we be satisfied with that? Not too bad some might opine but Brighton, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth above us, I don’t think so. FFC have progressed little in the past few seasons. Something needs to change, we are better than this, or should be. Each of these teams Nottingham apart have worked marvels and have surpassed us in acquisitions, management and development. I hope the owners are taking the stats on board and will take the necessary steps to up the anti. First step teach these very well paid clowns how to pass a ball.

After all the years our owners from last year are copying other clubs which they have been doing for years buying and selling, but have they gone too quick off the mark with stansfieild especially as it now turns out exeter get 20pc of fee.And how many youngsters who slipped the net through not being professional. And finally is silva a good premier league manager yes championship but premier league jury’s out why.Disreguard hull and Watford that was more internal problems but Everton is a different story they spent loads of money under silva and at the time Dof and their present manager is still selling players theyaccumulated under silva regime everton bought iwobi for 33 mill we bought for 22mil.The player has his moments and scored some important goals at just turned 28 he is another player who can turn hot and cold it’s seems a lot of our players have that profile especially now we bought 2 from arsenal and now 1 on loan, arsenal of old recently were a team who blow hot and cold which they have now gone in a different direction and we are buying overpriced players who arsenal are trying to get rid,you wonder if silva asked iwobi about Rowe and 100000 a week winger on loan on that money he better be good I doubt it.The next few weeks will be interesting.

I forgot to mention one very important point in my comments on the game yesterday which is applicable to all four games this season. Our team have failed miserably in their inability to fathom out that it is essential to pass the ball to players wearing the same strip as yourself. Yesterday, the majority of passes went to Ipswich players thereby putting the pressure back on our defence. In addition, the playing out worries me me when Leno rolls the ball our which is then passed square across the penalty area and then Bach to Leno. There appears a degree of panic with our defence getting rid of the ball like a hot potato. Unlike many other teams we do not have the ability or players who can move the ball upfield quickly in order to counter attack. The substitutions with five minutes on the clock was ridiculous and should have been made earlier. These problems must be addressed with Smith Rowe and Pereira seemingly unsure of their roles yesterday and perhaps the former should be playing further up field. Just my opinion of course and no doubt I will be chastised by the more qualified posters.

100% agree, our midfield is fragmented. All of our rivals i.e. Brentford and Bournemouth are organised and scoring goals for fun. This mess is purely down to the management who will be held accountable if we inevitably end up getting relegated

It will take a while for the players to get back to their match best and for the new signings to fully understand what is required of them. As has already been said it can take 10 games before full realisation of how good or bad your team is. Yesterday was a poor performance, but against such an all action team like Ipswich we defended very well to come away with a draw. We really did not play that well against Leicester, but scraped a win. If we can win and draw when paying badly, we should do a lot better if we can start playing well.

You only batter teams when every thing you do in a match works. Those two 5 0 we had were just like that, virtually every time we attacked we scored. Yesterday we scored from probably the only decent attack we had.

I think we all agreed that Fulham were under par today! So the question is could Marco made a better team selection? lets analyse. The only options available to Marco I think are replacing one or more Lukic, Diop and Muniz with Berg, Andersen and Raul. Maybe also Tete with castagnia, otherwise any other changes would not make sense. Marco has a philosophy of not making necessary changes if you are winning, and if a player plays well, continue to reward him with a starting place. With this in mind, I can understand why he is keeping Tete and Lukic. I understand but would have consider playing Reed instead of Lukic against a team just come out of the championship. While he would be tempted to swap Muniz (who in my opinion based on the two games isn’t good enough) for Raul. I think this is where Marco failed today. He sees a different Muniz to most of us fans. He should have started Raul. He would have been able to drop deeper and help the midfield, and better at positioning than Muniz. Small change was all we needed.
Replies
I still think we have too many No 10s. Periera is wasted further back and doesn't provide much help to Lukic, definitely should have been closer to Delap and not allow him to run so far or have an unobstructed shot. Berge looked better when he came on. Iwobi is not a left winger hence why Robinson was pushed up so far leaving a hole for a quick counter attacking team to use this space. ESR, I'm not sure where he really plays and I'm not sure he knows what his role is yet. The reality is we struggled to get the ball to the midfield and from there to the forward players, often relying on a big punt up to Muniz or Traore, seldom picking up the second ball. I suspect Nelson is a direct replacement for Willian and Andersen and Berge will be regulars. That mean we have Iwobi, ESR and Periera to alternate in the attacking midfield space.

T.N.O' The game against Ipswich was worse than the Birmingham game simply because we fielded our most experienced eleven and we were poor. Ipswich are the promoted side but it didn't look that way today by a long chalk. Our balls out from the back were pi..-poor from our defenders and we looked bad all over apart from the one smart move and a nice pass from Robinson and a okay dummy from Muniz for Adama Traore to score a nice goal. I am pleased for Traore who is proving that he is a 90 minute player can you believe it. Traore for me was motm and Leno close behind just for that smart get down save that kept it to a draw. Why is Rowe playing so deep? Muniz missed a simple header from his very few chances, i think he had time to direct it the other side of the goalie but he didn't. I can't just blame Muniz for this poor performance from our team overall, we have to do better against better teams. Pereira was guilty of the worst crime in football for their goal and i call it bone-idleness. Just watch that lazy Pereira try to half grab delap instead of running after him for Delap to score as easy as you like. We can't just turn up at these games expecting the easy life, away from home means we have to put in the hard graft for a result. I am shocked at the way we played today because Ipswich played like we usually play and that is passing out from the back and in most scenes today link the ball up to a player colleague. You can smell the gaping gap hole left after Palinha departed and i am still shaken and stirred from how poor we are a unit in midfield. Maybe there wasn't enough time for Cairney, Reed, and Wilson to show something, anything better than Pereira, Lukic, and Rowe could bring to the table. Everything Ipswich thought up half of it succeeded and that wasn't very hard against a prem side that isn't cohesive whatsoever. Ipswich looked like Fulham playing out from the back and we looked like a not so long promoted team. I am so embarrassed to say that we can score a lot of goals from our midfield and we look bad today. West Ham lost to Man City but they did create chances to level the game, but they didn't take them. Not afraid to say it but Westham would have beaten us today. We have to do better with our subs and H Reed and Wilson are not good enough, try the other subs i say. Poor from Silva today and thank goodness for the international break because we need to work at our game which simply is not good enough at this level against better teams to come...

A disappointing game in many ways but the result was a fair at the end of the day. Several posters have, quite rightly, complained about the lack of a striker who will provide 20 goals in a season but there are a rare commodity these days so we need to adapt. Today Ipswich started brightly and put us under pressure with Delap allowed to acres of space and scoring an excellent goal. This did galvanised us to start pressurising Ipswich leading to our equaliser following an th excellent move down the left flank culminating with Robinson pulling the ball back from the byline to Traore making no mistake. Both sides had opportunities to score with Leno making an excellent save when an excellent pass found a lone Ipswich player, completely unmarked, on the edge of the penalty area with only Leno to beat . However, he took one step too many and Leno bravely dived at his feet smothering the ball. An extremely hard match littered with some nasty fouls from both sides although, Ipswich were the main perpetrators. How Delap stayed on the field is a mystery and to escape a yellow card was unbelievable.

Had we had a decent super-sub to come on in the final 20 or 25 minutes to score a goal, would we have won this match against a team just promoted? The two words that cross my mind is Jay Stansfield who we were all told was staying with Fulham, but has now been sold for a mere £10 million, never mind that's a record for the third divison. I am born in Axmister, north of Exeter and remember when we last tried to sign a striker from Exeter City, Fred Binney, but our dear old Chairman Tommy Trinder would not pay the price. Jay has signed a seven year contract, so it looks like there's no likelyhood of a second coming. Why dose Fulham keep selling the best products from our academy and signing players with a history of injury and long lay off on £100,000 per week!

T.NO, did we lose today. No we didn't, so don't be so downhearted, as that was a hard fought, and thoroughly deserved point, in a very difficult away fixture, and we went one down quite early on. However we are not an easy pushover these days and we came back with a good goal, and never looked like conceding again. It will take a few games before we settle in with a regular line up, and once our new players, and Marco have sorted it out. It will all come together after a few games, and we will be on our way up the table, which has hardly started yet.

Should have sold peirerra and invested money more wisely. His distribution, corners and free kicks rarely contribute to much, and his crap pass today gifted Ipswich with a goal. Sure some people on this board will try and blame sasic who again looks a good player if given the right role and chance. Again nothing upfront for the second year, can’t keep crying over the fact that Mitrovic has gone, too content in buying multiple mid fielders. No way that Muniz and Jimineze will set the premiership alight. Luckily there will be at least three teams worse than us and we will, stay up.

Sussex col you say that there will be three worse teams than us so we will stay up! Really, not a second year of mediocre performances for the increased cost of our season tickets. There are no Club Card points in the Premiership, we better look sharp or we could be in trouble by Christmas. Fact.

So the window shuts again and what have we got?, not much ,not sure what this board and marco do when looking for a striker, ?in the beano perhaps, seems we are the only club that cant find one, several were got in by prem clubs some may never do the job but at least they went for it.We got a good deal with christensen, sees if injury free maybe smith rowe good by ,again injurys or not who knows time will tell, the spanish guy, i hope makes it , unknown but at least he is young has time on his side berg good stop gap,but now we we have another player who cant get in arsn first team squad,at least we never bought him so could be a good rental job.End product is we still cant score goals and never will with this system we got strikers galore who just cant score so why are the at the club Vinicus!!! why ???? munez championship, raul, money down drain, why do keepplaying them , just hope josh king gets a break , coyw prove me wrong .

Perhaps saying we were after a striker was a way of incentivising our two men up front who must now prove their worth and prove we do not need another striker.

When we used to get decent youngsters we played them and bigger clubs noticed and got them for next to nothing. The policy now seems to be to hide them by loaning them out to lower divisions where they get regular games. When they are 18 try them in the team if they are not good enough send them out on loan again. Once they are 21 and they are good enough for us sell them, if they are good enough play them and keep them if we can or sell them for a big price if we cannot.

Looking at the amount of players from youth to 1st team leaving with no mention of Sid viscous yet of him leaving it proves if he stays that wonderful deal they say for jay will go on Sid’s wages. To me I feel we never got a good deal.It ended with a stand off silva wants munis and jay wanted more game time instead at the moment we have munis a Mexican and another Brazilian no one wants, silvas a good coach but buying forwards he’s not,and my final note let’s hope our youth player we sold to Southampton isn’t the next big talent to leave the club ,that again will shrink stansfield transfer money, very disappointing transfer day Nielsen is on 100,000 a week how much are we playing can we put more on jays transfer to cover the cost.

Scout' trust me we will be alright no worries. There are so many potential goal getters behind Muniz who will get us goals this season. The pressure is off Muniz because there is no big name striker coming in to cramp his style. I have been quietly reflecting on our transfer window, and overall I think we have done pretty well, and that sadly includes losing Jay Stansfield. However I have to agree that although a talented young man, he is talented for the division he will now be playing in, and hopefully for both him and Birmingham, he will do OK next season in the Championship, but talented in the Premier League was never going to happen, so we have manipulated a good deal for the lad. I must admit I know very little about Reiss Nelson, although an Arsenal ST holder friend of mine, tells m e that he is a good player with a lot of pace. My main worries are injuries up front, with very little back ups, but I seem to have more faith in Rual that most on this board. He was a prolific scorer for Wolves, so you don't lose that knack overnight.

It was a win win deal for Fulham and Stansfield. The only party taking risk is Birmingham, who have now committed £35-40m to this deal, including 7 years worth of salary! For Fulham, if owners choose to, with the FFP, we can spend another £60m in January. For Stansfield, he’s family is now set financially for life with a contract worth £17-18m. You have to remember Stansfield isn’t a kid anymore - he’s 21. Most elite players he’s age would have 50-100 games under their belt. Remember when we sold Sess to Spurs, he’s already played like 150 games and score 30-40goals. Look what happened to him. You could argue he should have stayed. Who knows what he could have been but he’s financially secured now whatever happens. Also some fans want a romantic tale. Stansfield isn’t one of ours like Sess, he joined us at 16 . So don’t blame Stansfield. So a win win for both parties. We wish Stansfield well.

Emotionally, I'm with you. Think Stansfield is great and want him to stay and develop at the club. However, at the moment, he's not a Premier League goal scorer which is what we need, for Jay it makes sense as he's going to be the main man at a club that loves him and he'll get loads of game time. Financially for the club the £15-20m transposes to much more in purchasing power as he came through the academy. Not a bad bit of business really.

I suppose I shouldn’t, but I can’t help but feel just a little disappointed. Whilst the signings of Andersen, Smith Rowe , Cuenca and Berge are excellent, and we have managed to hang on to most our first team players I can’t help but feel the lack of a goal scorer is a real pity and has taken the shine off an otherwise excellent window. As for our failure to sign André, who according to reports we chased for over a year. I really think we have missed an opportunity there. All compounded with the sale of a goal scoring option in Stansfield doesn’t look brilliant. Muniz as our main strike force doesn’t fill me with confidence any more than Jimenez as an alternative. I hope ESR, Iwobi, Wilson and Pereira (?) have got a few goals in them. Probably being a bit churlish but can’t help this slight deflated feeling. I hope my fears of those of a footballing dunce and prove to be totally unfounded.
Replies
Muniz will surprise everyone as he behaves and acts and performs like a top striker and when the goals start flowing soon he will be one. We have a much better squad than last season and consequently will do a lot better this season. Europe is possible.

Muniz is big and strong and he is built for the prem and now we need goals from him. Stansfield is a good player but i think his build in the Micheal Owen image doesn't quite stack up somehow if that makes sense. Look at Chris Woods, Haarland, Toney, our Muniz etc? Managers. like the big boys it seems and it makes sense. The rigours and demand of a prem season is enormous and i think the big guys win over the little uns lol. The way how we are set up this season says a lot also. Smith Rowe can play behind a striker and he will get goals along with our new loanee from Arsenal who looks rapid. You can just see more goals flowing from our midfield more than ever this season and Sessegnon is not goal-shy. Trust me' the clever move by Marco not to add to another striker on top of what we have will give the likes of Muniz more slack and less pressure and he looks primed to get goals. If all else fails we definitely have our boys behind Muniz who will get goals. If plan 'A' falls flat, we do have a window after Christmas so relax and enjoy Marco's best season as Fulham manager me-thinks...

Some pundits are now talking about Fulham’s lack of fire power. Warnock on radio 5 correctly stated that Muniz had a short spell of scoring goals but then went dry and Jimenez has been a shadow of the player since his serious head injury. We don’t have anything else to offer. All this over hype for Muniz is totally deluded, this was a player who couldn’t cut it even in the Championship.

The game against Birmingham was very mish-mashed and not always 11 players in full cohesion mode but a good workout for our guys. It is a shame that we couldn't keep Stansfield because he has a little bit of something we call composure judging from the nice goal he scored for us. I think that this season will be interesting, exciting, and satisfactory for us Fulham fans and Marco Silva will enjoy his options which is a good variety of players to choose from. We lose Stansfield but we gain Reiss Nelson who is a paceman. I have always expressed my wish for more pace and link-ups coming from our midfield and now we have another piece in the jigsaw to deliver what is needed. I think Stansfield's small in stature is the only thing that convinced Marco and Fulham to move him on and the price was a good one and we can only wish him the best. Traore who is blessed with pace got more is getting more game-time than normal and i think by now Silva is getting the full data from Traore he needs to know and that data tells us that Traore is not a 90 minute player and i think he is best coming on as a sub all day long. Traore is not a finisher but he has some fantastic uses and his assist when he gets it right is sublime to say the least. Sessegnon getting 90 minutes is interesting and i think it tells Silva what he needs to know. Sessegnon would have been relieved to even get 90 minutes and he came through that looking solid and well over his injury woes, Sess looks eager to please and Marco Silva gets plenty more options to utilise. We have so many more options now than we ever had in the midfield and the likes of Wilson who has been here for some time now along with Pereira will need to bring more to the table and i have no doubts that they will also start to deliver more because competition will be fierce this season. I don't understand the concern with Muniz because he is solid and robust compared to Stansfield and i think Managers like Silva know more than what we know. Muniz will be a nightmare for defenders and i think he is certain to score more goals than last season no problem. There are not many like Micheal Owen who can stand up for a whole season and even Owen was injury-prone in his career. It looks like a goal fest will come from our midfield now and we have a decent variety of players who can deliver what we want so don't sweat it guys' we will be okay...

From Fulham The Club can confirm that Jay Stansfield has joined Birmingham City on a permanent deal. While part of the First Team group this season, Jay’s desire for regular first team football, along with the package Fulham will receive, meant that a deal has proven beneficial for all parties. Following his departure, Jay said: “Hiya Fulham fans. I just want to say a massive thank you for the last five years that I’ve been at this amazing club. “I’ve taken this choice and opportunity to go and play first team football, and taken this next challenge to be able to develop my career, n just as a player but as a person.
