Give Parker time the players are playing for him . There have been more injury’s than Jokanovic had ( who l liked) lots of players playing on with knocks. Will still 3rd with more ponts than we had at same time in season when we went up. Scots doing a great job and is respected in the game. I don’t understand all this yes man rubbish how does anyone know. Better anyway all pulling the same way that in the end brings success
Its just that Parkers game is boring, boring. All yhis out and across the back.70% poss going nowhere.Although he seems to be slowly getting the message

Agree with you Badger, after last season's total embarrassment give SP a chance... Hector must have been chomping at the bit to put the shirt on & Kongolo has somthing to prove but i think he will! the only down side for me is the Mitro injury... The Khan's & SP are still wearing L plates & I was a TK out over the last few years!... But we all don't pass our test first time... No more humble pie for me I'm full up... onwards & upwards. JMO.

Unless we completely lose our form, over the final games, we look destined for at least a place in the top 6, and therefore a play off spot, so who do wer reckon will be our main challengers. I see that Notts Forest won again today against Luton, and they are only a point behind us now, but have a home game against Reading in hand. Brentford can't be ruled out. Swansea are hanging on in there as well, and Millwall are coming with a strong run, so it looks like being a fight till the end to get to Wembley, that is of course if we don't get into an automatic place, which is doubtful, as we do tend to throw away some easy and unexpected points, as we all know. All the top halve maybe someone lower with good run

We are only 4 points above 7th!! So let’s take one game at a time. We’ve seen how situations can change very quickly for the better or worse! Otherwise I am worried about Forest, Brentford and Wednesday!

The game at Charlton can't come soon enough, now we are clicking into gears at a rapid pace. I like our rapid start to the first half against Boro, it was good to watch. Yes, our intensity slackened off more so in the 2nd half and that is quite normal considering the circumstances. Our players are only human folks and even 10 Usain Bolt replicants would not be able to keep that pace and intensity up. Our only failings were that we didn't score more goals with those host of chances we had. We have to be happy to see the volume of chances created without Mitrovic and Kamara as target men. Who needs Kamara, one might say? Or Josh Onomah, or Tom Cairney? etc. Guy's' we have bodies, surplus to requirements you might say? There are a host of teams from the prem to the Championships that are desperate and crying out for players because of injuries. We have ammo, we are blessed! Now it looks like we have finally found a missing piece of jigsaw in our defence by the name of Hector, we can all breathe a sigh of relief at long last. Too soon i might hear? Didn't you feel a little more secure with our extra insurance policy doing his guard duty around the Cottage? If and when i buy a mutt, i am calling him Hector-Churchill-Van-Dyke. If you see a guy around the Cottage in a AK-47 Fulham shirt, and straining a bulldog at the leash, you will know it's me!!! They should let me in Craven Cottage free of charge for my intelligence. Anyway, back to the football. I want to give Tom Cairney a shout up again because he wasn't quite fit. At age 28 this kid has still got his best years in front of him. I know he is too quiet for captain material but who care's? A properly fit Cairney on Weds night will be chomping at the bit to get in on a piece of the action. We can't have Hector hogging all the limelite, i feel others along with Cairney will want a slice of the goodstuff too. Hey' we can cake-walk this division, and i think our players know this now. COME ON YE FULHAM!!!! (Er' still eating humble pie)...
Try not to get over excited. We have clicked into gear and looked like Real Madrid on many occasions this season, then flopped in the following game. Fully expecting a lack lustre 1-0 loss

There is a sense of if you have an opinion different to the bullies, you’re not a Fulham fan and most likely a Brentford fan. Unfortunately the moderators (one in particular) are divisive figures themselves and have allowed for this community to be split in 2 by failing to moderate effectively. I regularly have my posts deleted by one moderator in particular and he treats this like his private message board and will not allow anyone to be critical of him.

Hi Baz. Agreed. I like and respect wht you write on here so apologies for the ambuguity. Didn’t want to single MST out as I get deleted every time I do.. fact is that he is a homophobe and allowed it to take place on this website as well as joining in. I cannot sit by and let that slide. As strongly as you and I feel about racism, I feel about homophobia.if I have to step on a few toes to make sure he doesn’t get away with it, so be it. There is no place for homophobia anywhere so this message board is no different - the clubs offical stance is in line with my thoughts. You’d get a lifetime ban on the stands. Anyway, again apologies not aimed at you - poorly phrased in fear of the lord and saviour hitting that delete button.

He played in the premier league - not quite good enough. He played in the Scottish league - did ok but if Defoe at the age of 36 can still look good say something about the league. Played in Italy - didn’t quite make it. Now playing in the championship - decent skills but too light and no end product!! He’s running out of options and he’s contract at Man City probably expiring soon if not this season. He could do well in China!

Tom Cairney is not done yet, i still think he will have a big say in our remaining fixtures. He can still pass a ball through the eye of a needle, this is what separates him from the chaff. O' Reilly is not the finished article yet and can learn something from Cairney in my opinion. The Khans will have got his contract seriously wrong and were too generous with Cairney? If so, my theory is wrong and doesn't stand up. The only mistake they made with Cairney, is to make him captain. Cairney is too quiet a character to make him captain material. I still hold on to the theory that athletes mature around 28 ish going on 30, so if that holds up, Cairney's best years are yet to come...

I thought it was clever the way our players were changing positions when we were attacking, Knockaert and Cav both on the same wing, left space for Bryan to cross. Bobby Reid is very energetic and chases everything down. Will he be playing alongside, or just behind Mitro? Also fair play to K Mac, kept going and Cairney looks comfortable when he is playing. Certain games that K Mac will play in and certain games he will come on as sub. Great squad man to have.
Well said Gaz, but results show since K Mac has been playing again and providing the shield, goals against have dried up, Parkers current game plan of passing game from the back also really needs K Mac as the link. Hector getting all the plaudits slightly unfair.
posted by denny (Guest) - Saturday 18th January 2020, 12:07 PM
I think Hector was outstanding, part of his great performance was enhanced by having K Mac in front of him, Knockheart covering the flanks, Cav covering the flanks and Bobby Reid pressing high. As far as plaudits are concerned the whole team deserve the plaudits and that includes the coaching staff. Well done Fulham.

Was well pleased with last nights performance, it shows that SP is definitely learning and that the owners have been made aware of what he wants. The biggest worry was that we seemed to not be learning or evolving same old mistakes!,,,, It seems the simple addition of Hector has made a world of difference in the defence, with simple leadership which with been missing badly. I think the vast majority have wanted SP to do well but couldn’t see any progress which seems to be coming the team looks balanced and working for each other. Mistakes will always happen but to constantly make the same errors was the problem. Progress at last COYWs

If we can stay consistent and play some of the amazing football that we played last night, we can easily make up 5/6 points on Leeds. with injuries and jaded legs, The team with the largest and best squad tend to come through in the second half the season. We have the best squad. We almost caught Cardiff who were more than ten points ahead a couple of seasons ago, and they didn’t collapse. So it’s down to us!! let’s keep the consistency! Coyw

I cannot agree with one of the papers rating of Tom Cairney. They give him 7,which i think is extremely generous.I think he was a drag on the team, and as he was subed ,it is fair to say so did Parker. He was woefully of the pace ,and still insists on "crab" football. In my opinion 4 would have been about right.
Where can I find these ratings?
posted by Nick (Guest) - Saturday 18th January 2020, 6:08 AM
A drag on the team? Did you miss the fluidity of the first 45 minutes? TC switched the ball to Bryan which enabled the cross and tap in. He and KMac have a great understanding and they were picking the right pass every time. I think his legs weren’t fully there, but distribution was superb. Reminded me of what we saw under Slavisa.

Myself, and those around me were talking at half time who we thought would get the MOTM so far, and we nearly all agreed it would be TC, as we thought that he was having a cracking game, but then things fell away in the second half, and he was rightly subbed. The feeling was that he was still not fully fit, and it was probably arranged at HT, that he would come off before the end. TC, at his best is an important part of the way that we play, and long may he continue.

This guy is pure class without even trying. Hector does not do anything flash and he is always in the right place at the right time. Odoi had a good game at left-back because Hector is more reliable than the man from the pru, he is the missing link in our squad. I was almost panicking when Maswson came on late,he usually makes a customary mistake, but we were good! I am in love with wingers and wing-backs again and this is all down to Hector. Mawson before Hector was like the wrong final jigsaw piece that we thought would fit into place but part of the wrong jigsaw. It is almost funny on how long it takes before the penny drops at Fulham and the reasons why we were so disjointed. Take Hector out of the picture, and we sure would have conceded and wingback Joe Bryan and Odoi would have been slated. Now, i enjoy these 2 guy's bombing forward and bringing more danger into our game. Odoi was unlucky with that marginal offside and he really deserved that goal ruled out. Guy's' i know a lot of fans will be saying, i told you so about Joe Bryan etc, but the truth is we originally drafted in Alfie Mawson to do the job that Hector does, and we looked disjointed and all over the place for a long time now. Our people upstairs must take some flack for their recruitment. We always take the scenic rout around recruitment for a long while now. No doubt that the Khans will take all the brownie points for Hector. My question is, why it has taken Fulham this long to solve a simple jigsaw. Hail our King Hector!!!! 4 points off the Leeds and West Brom guy's. Can we win this automatic promotion? BY HEC-TOR-WE-CAN!!!!!!
Just read this after replying below. We have basically said the same thing. Hector is my new favourite player and has solved all of our problems. Bryan was excellent today and our wingers look to be hitting form. Interesting to see how fluid the attacking positions were without mitro. Cairney was the weak link. Always looking to pass backwards.
posted by David (Guest) - Friday 17th January 2020, 11:15 PM
Great minds think alike David. I think Cairney needs a game or two to get back into the swing. He isn't far off, Cairney made a peach of a pass to Reidy i think? who should have scored. Mitro will be drooling over those missed chances tonight. I say we have the best squad in this division more than ever now...
posted by OWEN (Guest) - Friday 17th January 2020, 11:27 PM
You are right about the pass but he does look off the boil. Still hellbent in shipping out Christie and bringing in a new RB. Odoi is decent cover there. But if our defence is as sorted as we think with Hector then I agree about the squad. The attacking half has never been in doubt and looks like Parker night finally be using our wingers properly.
posted by David (Guest) - Friday 17th January 2020, 11:34 PM
What a win that was tonight, as we played as well as ever in the first half and stoutly in defence in the second half, but I suppose that it was a shade disappointing that we only managed a one goal win. It's q1uite amazing what a difference Hector had made to our defence, as he not only plays well, but he seems to have brought out more guts to the rest of the defence, and to be fair Rodak was never ever tested, which was remarkable against such an in form team, and had won 2-0 at WBA recently. On wards and possibly upwards now.

I watched the game again last night, we were really good in parts, not being critical about the side but we have developed a trait of taking our foot off the pedal when we are in front. We always give the opposition a life line, the only difference is that we now have a defender who knows how to defend. TC is not fit and he was not at his best last night, but looking back at the game the boy Can really see a pass, he is not a combative midfielder but if our wide players are not constantly having to cover a weak defence I am sure TC would find them. Maybe the armband is taking its toll on his game. One thing I noticed last night was The post match interview, Hector was spotlessly clean . He looks like he has based his game on Van Dyke style of play, really impressive. When the new guy gets into the team we should be even stronger. Let’s not over do it about the result ,we will make mistakes now and then so let’s not slaughter the team if it does happen. We are close to getting a strong squad and we would worry any team in the division.
posted by Gaz - Saturday 18th January 2020, 7:30 AM
Gaz' i agree that we have a tendency to take our foot off the gas, but i also think it is only natural after all the intensity of the game. We were pressing and pressing and i could not believe how many chances we were creating. To be honest, we should have been 4 or 5 goals up in the first half and this conversation would have been so different. I was actually scared for us 2nd half. How many Fulham fans are comfortable on sitting on a 1 nil? The strangest thing about this game against Boro, was the quiet assurance of a feeling that we wouldn't buckle under any pressure. We just soaked up everything last night and Hector is the difference. We finally have a star defender among us and one that does the simple things and he doesn't stand out. Hector is our missing piece of our jigsaw...

First twenty minutes amazing, Mitro would have got a handful if he was playing. Hector MOM for me with Bobby Reid close. With a full squad to pick from we could beat any team in the division. As a non Parker fan I must say that if we could play like the first twenty I would be delighted for him. All in all three points. We have not played well and got a result from a few games this season. Play bad and win is better than play well and lose.
I’ll Take a slice of that humble pie too. Excellent performance all round. Even Onomah (bar the header). Hector is an absolute class act and made our whole defence look more comfortable. Dare a say, the missing piece of the jigsaw. Still very sceptical of Parker but feel he may finally be getting things right. Maybe mitro forces us to be less dynamic and actually we have a attack that can run riot and swap positions without him (still Think he is a key player for us). Passing football finally looked attacking too. Let’s get a right back in and win the league.

Some humble pie for me too. Not sure if we need too many more bodies in yet? If we recruit, we need to ship out also. This squad should be almost ready and primed to win this league firstly, then the real recruitment centered around Hector. We can build around this guy...

Knockaerrt and reeds work rate also cab chasing down ball defending everything. Must be knackered after that. We should of had more but we got a win main thing. Closer to the top 2
3 great points. Shame we made our lives so difficult as it should have been over by half time. Nevertheless, great not to concede. Lots of positive to take, above all the win

The thing is now day's most clubs with a few quid , set up these academy's and the more money you have, the bigger the set up,(Chelsea)it is a business in, itself so you will have or you should have young player's coming through the ranks. If you look over Barn Elms some mornings there are hundreds of kids with coaches teaching them things all football so in some ways they are massive trials for kids and the good ones will stick out . I'm not saying this is a bad thing but I think it gets a bit serious from a young age.and kids get knocked back a bit.on the other end of the scale most of the sunday football leagues have disappeared it seems the fun has gone out of it .Look at Patrick Roberts last night yes he is making a few quid but where will he be next. I dont know what my point is ? yes you are bound to get player's coming through and we are in London population etc

I'm not one for booing ex-players but he is another in the Dembele mould that followed the golden goose only it hasn't quite happend for him the way it did for Dembele.

I always thought he was quite a skilful lad but was to much of a lightweight and got knocked off the ball too easily. He didn't really cut it with the best team in a Mickey Mouse league so not sure I see him pulling up trees with Boro.
We got £12m for Roberts. We got 200k for Dembele. Why would you want to boo Patrick Roberts?? He’s given Fulham £12m when he could run down his contract. I don’t recall him saying anything negative about Fulham. So there’s no reason to boo him- infact, I might even give him a small applaud!

We will never know but just think how different career paths he could have followed under Kloop!? Trent and Robertson aren't exactly very big! Neither is Mane nor Salah. Such as shame as one he was one of the most skillful 16 year old players in the world!! I will not boo but would love to see him play tonight!!

As for playing in a mickey mouse league, you do not get 9-0 up there, do you get them in the Premier League? - ask Southampton. Also want to see Djen Spence, we let him go a year or so ago, only played about half a dozen games for Boro, yet in the games I have seen he looks better than the right backs we kept, maybe we should buy him back.

INTERESTING SIGNING... WHAT DO WE THINK!? ....COYW! Kongolo Signs On Loan The Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of defender Terence Kongolo from Huddersfield Town. The 25-year-old, who is equally comfortable playing as a centre-half or at left-back, will be at Craven Cottage for the rest of the season. Speaking to FFCtv after signing, Kongolo said: "I am really happy with this move. Fulham is a big team pushing for promotion so for me this a perfect move. "I really want to show my qualities and the next six months are very important. I like the winning mentality here and I want to give everything to help this Club get promoted."
Likely he's been signed as a back-up for Odoi at LB. We ought to sell Bryan and Betts and use those funds to buy ourselves a right back. Christie has been adequate, but he's not quality enough (like Freddo was) to get us promoted.
posted by Drago (Guest) - Friday 17th January 2020, 5:21 AM
I assume Bryant will now leave which personally I am not unhappy about he is a poor defender always leaving big gaps on the right wing . He can cross a good ball but at the end of the day if you are a left back you must be able to defend !

They say he thinks he should be at Barcelona and everything else is beneath him... let’s hope he just didn’t like Huddersfield.

Huddersfield fans rated him one of the worse players they have ever had which is saying something . Poor on the pitch and wanted to blame others for his errors which then continued after the game . Quite a few Dutch players seem to have dressing room disruptive attitude ,esp those who are not quite top standard . Villa fans felt the same about Ono ( on the pitch rather than issues off it ) but there are signs he is improving game by game although still not sure what he best position is .

Okay Doris, here’s one for you. It’s looks like Southampton are one of the clubs seriously interested in buying Bryan. To me this is pretty ironic as they had, and sold, our number one choice at the time as they were blessed with a number of players in that position. They messed us around big time with targett - raising the price and lowering it at the last min. Too little too late. Now they want one of our players. It’s time for the khans to show they are no pushover, pick a price and stick to it, make them sweat and show them what goes around comes around. Same should be said for any further dealings with spurs (although you don’t all agree that they messed us round - it’s what the club said and lead to hector not being registered in time). If we are to start getting good deals in the market with baby khan at the helm we need to start being more cutthroat.
We were with Sessegnon got our prise and Onomah must do same with Bryan
posted by Badger (Guest) - Thursday 16th January 2020, 1:34 PM
Whether we got our price is up for debate. No idea how you would know that but we do know there was no bidding war. The beef with spurs is actually more to do with taking it down to the wire which meant hector couldn’t be signed in time which ultimately had an impact on the quality of our defence for 6months. After that cluster f**k I’d never do business with Levy again. The sort of gist we got from the club too. We get taken for mugs win the market with TK in charge.

Unless we have plans to buy some big players and therefore need the cash for FFP sake, we must not sell! Ask if Southampton interested in a great right back who allegedly can play in midfield as well.

Badger, so they did mess us round. My point being that it was a foregone conclusion that he was joining spurs all summer, yet they made us wait until the final minutes of the window. If it was me running the club, I would not stand for that. It just shows what other clubs think of us if both Spurs and Southampton tried to walk all over us and take the Michael. Would've loved Matt Targett.

His choice. I contribute to the appeal but don't wear a poppy, what difference does it make? I used to have a metal pin badge that I wore after I made the contribution because the paper ones fall off and the pin is a nuisance but I lost the back and don't bother now. Surely it's the donation that counts not some stupid piece of paper!?

From memory the Stoke Player is not from England is he and I can see his point if that's the case.

The last time I looked, charitable donations were not mandatory so each to his own and NO ONE should be chasitised for making their own choice.

Will you lot stop banging on about the same old tosh. Parker in, Parker out. Right back, left back... nothing is going to change this season so I'd like to get your thoughts on a different subject... Megxit.. discuss.
I don't think Meg would make a good right back, what we need is to stop all this back passing, every time we could have a shot we pass back, sometimes it gets back to our goalie from our own attack. if we get back to the Prem and do that we will get beaten by so much, take some pot shots, you never know, you could get a deflection and a goal, play like you did v Villa.

Mitro injury not as bad as first thought. Only three weeks ligament strain. At first they thought it was a very bad injury not so. He also looks like a rest won’t be a bad thing for later games. Also it gives others a chance to shine. We are far better placed than when we went up last time. The next month should be the key for Mr Parker and his knockers. Yes we haven’t been playing well yet we are still well placed despite this. If we can start playing to our potential then automatic promotion is not out of the question.
Good news about Mitrovic in Top six always could be better but good season so far well done Scot and the boys

I am worried, Mitro is out for three weeks. We have not been scoring many goals this season. I think we are about the fourth top scorers in the Championship. We were supposed to be an unstoppable front line. Now worried goals will dry up without Mitro
When your top goal scorer gets injured it’s a natural worry
posted by Badger (Guest) - Wednesday 15th January 2020, 6:49 PM
We look less one dimensional without him. Have done ok when he is sitting in the stands. Besides he does tend to tire in the second half of a season, so expect less of him anyway when he returns. Don’t lose any sleep over it James
posted by Fred (Guest) - Wednesday 15th January 2020, 8:42 PM
Mitro's injury is unfortunate and these things will happen at the wrong times. That said, this is a test for Parker which i welcome. We have a squad and there are a few additions coming in that will strengthen our fight for promotion. Can Scott Parker organize us tactically without Mitrovic, and can he sort out our defense finally? Also, our football has not been the most free-flowing in the pursuit of goals and i would like to see Parker getting us to play a more fluid football towards goal. Kabano and Kamara are not in the same class as Mitrovic, but we still should be capable of scoring goals. Cavaleiro has shown that he is capable and he will score goals as well as set them up. Parker tried Kamara in some daft wing-play position that clearly didn't work, and to get the best form him, he needs to play him more central or that right side against Derby he was effective with assist. I am not an expert, and whatever tactics Parker brings to the table, it needs to work pronto. If we are not bothered about the promotion race this season, then it doesn't matter what tactics and Parker can experiment all day long. The team is what it is, and we are not Liverpool, but there is still enough talent without Mitrovic to give us a shout. I think there are a few managers around theis league who would jump at a chance to manage our squad. This isn't the best Fulham squad put together, and it sure is not the worst either...

Mitro is out, as is AK, per Parker. More likely line-up is Christie-Hector-Ream-Odoi-McDonald-Onomah-Cairney-Cav-Decordova Reid - Knockaert. Arter and StefJo are both better than Onomah, but Parker seems blind to that.

Without decent wing backs you can't play three at the back, you would be opened up defensively far too easily. our best formation is a 4-2-3-1.

Watford and Southampton are both interested. I am really concerned the club would consider selling him and replace him with Le Merchand, who is obviously doing nothing at the moment. To get the best out of Cav, we need someone who can link up and overlap with him. I can't see Le Merchand doing that! not sure knows that the other half the pitch looks like and he certainly doesn't have the pace to overlap!

Anybody else under the impression that defeat on Friday is almost guaranteed. Replay the highlights of our home games against Forest, Bristol City & Reading, and that’s exactly what we will get. We will be at snail pace, passing backwards & forwards across the back, giving away cheap goals, until the last 15 minutes when we will burst into life. You know I am right guys, give Warnock a final shot of glory cos the current incumbent will not be able to guide us through the playoffs even if we got there (which is highly unlikely)
Good post Frederick, I have this one down as a 1-2

Unfortunately I have to agree 100%. Based on the way we have played this season with probably only two quality performance to date.

Time for change, I thought Parker would have gone by now and an experienced manager would have been put in place this month.

Friday's game is the last chance saloon and if we are defeated the only hope it getting an experienced manager in who could give us a chance of at least staying in the play off positions.

I guarantee you that if you ask the Khans what our priorities are for this season, and they will say promotion. Even without Mitrovic, priority is still promotion! There is no other plan or objective, promotion is what we are aiming for win or lose Friday night! It is down to Parker to sort it with the addition of Hector at the back. We will get help for Mitro who is sidelined for a while. 15 mill or more for Assom is a show of real intent, we have the money...

Let's face it, if we can't beat the likes of Boro' at home, what would honestly be the point of being promoted, as every club that we play will be far better than Boro', and I'm even talking about teams like West Ham, Palace and Burnley. We will beat Boro' on Friday, or otherwise we can forget any top 6 finishing spots.

I know what you mean about the back passing and I think it is only the people that go to the games that know this as the highlights would not show it. v Reading we were awful, so slow their defence had all the time they needed to get organised, a waste of time playing. However v Villa they tried a few shots from outside the area, if they keep that up we will win more often.

@MW. We are in a league where 4th is possible with 41 points from a possible 81 after 27 games. That’s half available points. I’d be interested to see what the table looked like in previous seasons at this point. But the point is that this is an awful season of championship football and we are almost the best of a very bad bunch. That does not fill me with excitement. In fact the league leaders have dropped a total of 31 points already. Compare that to the prem leaders who have dropped 2 points all season too. Yours is opinion and I have a Given figures to support my argument. I was actually much happier watching us finish in play off spots twice under Slav and the reason being I was excited to watch us play, there was such positivity that has been replaced with negative side to side passing (even our centre backs are playing with their backs to the opposition goal!). If you are happy to judge Fulham by a number in a league, that’s up to you but I would like to see a strong team with exciting football again. In your defence, I think our team is excellent on paper, it’s just that amateur manager that can’t get the best of them.

John' question to the board is, what are their priorities? I think that with the arrival of Hector, a right back or even a proper left back isn't a priority. I think the Khans are budgeting with what we have now and maybe 1 or 2 additions like Britt Assom thrown in for good measure. It looks like Mitro is really knobbled and Assom might be drafted in. This is exciting news and we fans should be ecstatic! We should be jumping over hoops! You know why? It shows we have serious dosh! We are quids in, 'Loadsa' money'!!! Assom won't come cheap and if we get him, we have more pace and pace is what we need. What else is good about signing Assom? It wouldn't compromise Mitrovic when he comes back, Assom can play wing and he would be a great combo with Mitro. In a perfect world, and that world is in Jose Mourinho's head, we would have a new complete back four and that ain't gonna happen. It looks like the Khans are expecting promotion with the majority of this squad now. This is the business brains coming from the Khans and this is not nessessarily a bad thing. January is a bad month to blow your budget on too many players anyway.

When Spurs play Boro' tonight in the FA Cup replay, do you think that we will see Ryan Sessingnon in Spur's team, or will he be bench sitting once again. If he doesn't play tonight, he must be regretting leaving us for pastures new. He must have splinters in his bottom there now, after so many sit downs, that is if he is included in the squad at all. I hope that he does very well at Spurs, as it will be a real shame if he doesn't make it there. By the way it will be nice to see Boro' tonight, as extra time would suite us well ! !
Must have a good chance of playing some of the game. Sure he will be a regular in the team, they obviously spotted his potential before they bought him!

After watching Man City humiliate Aston Villa yesterday, and comparing the way we struggled to beat Villa's nearly reserve side at home in the FA Cup, are any of us looking forward to our visit to play Man City in a couple of weeks time, I for one am not looking forward to it at all. Thank goodness that it is only an unimportant cup tie, and not a League fixture, as we hope that it will be next season. I am only sorry that it is to be shown on BBC TV.

As a matter of comedic interest, can any of you advise what level of handicap would be required to equal the odds between us and Man City?

Shame I could not make it but applaud Man City for only charging £10 for tickets!! You’d pay more to watch a non league game!

Would guess they will not put out the same side that humiliated Villa, so maybe it won't be that embarrassing. We shall see !

Leeds United chief executive Angus Kinnear has praised the FA's match official assessment team after they accepted that referee Tim Robinson was wrong to hand Fulham a penalty in their 2-1 victory over Leeds United at Craven Cottage last month.

He wrote in his programme notes "While we are pleased that the officiating authorities are willing to enter into dialogue and accept their mistakes in an attempt to improve their overall quality, we are left in a position where 50 per cent of our defeats this season are now attributable to refereeing decisions that have subsequently been formally overruled."

...and 50% of wins probably saw Leeds get lucky with decisions. Smile and wave boys, smile and wave lol.
You don't hear us banging on about the penalty that should've been given v Bristol City. Also, if VAR was in place last year apparently we would have stayed up, but that's life and you just have to get on with it. Leeds have it in their own hands and if they fall apart again, tough!

Based on the VAR decisions this year, I’d say 40% of all penalties and goals since professional football started have been technically wrong! So stop complaining! Move on! They should worry about falling apart again!

I was at the match and had a clear view of what was a definate push in the back on Reid who had a clear chance of scoring the referee also was in a very good position to see and make the right decision.I am sure the opponents would have wanted the same decision in the circumstances if it had been them on the receiving end of the decision. Sour grapes and nothing more than that.
