Newcastle look relegation candidates as worst form ever. With West Brom being thrashed , Fulham have to get 6 points from West Brom and Brighton and then there’s a chance. Still no one coming in on loan or being bought just defies logic. So guys outside possibilities to fight for our lives. Just hope players see the incentive with recent losses as I don’t see Burnley losing too many. It will also be a good morale boost septa’s lost last three.

Lose tomorrow at Brighton, and it's goodbye Premier League, as that will knock us sideways, and we will lose confidence and then probably lose to WBA on Saturday as well. Its what we all call Fulhamish, but I'm afraid that it happens far too often. Whenever we are involved in must win games, we always tend to muck it up and I am really worried and I don't think that I will sleep well tonight,

I sincerely feel this, we will do more than okay! Ademola Lookman says there is more to come from himself and i think that he is on a mission to prove it. I saw something more from Loftus Cheek when he was subbed on 2nd half against Burnley. Please guys give him a chance, Loftus is really trying. Loftus took the ball by the reigns in the short time against Burnley knowing that the game was up. He looked like the last in line to take the ball upfield. I really think he will grow with this Fulham squad you'll see. We get that first goal and everything will fall into place and make sense again. Mitrovic is slow to gain form this time around, but i can see good signs that he will. We are due to give somebody a good spanking and i think that tomorrow night it will be the unfortunate Brighton. Admittedly, we are goal-shy and we don't look like scoring anytime soon? What is the word i am looking for? Out of synch? Just that one turn of a click here or there from Cavaliero, Reid, Mitrovic, Lookman, or even Kamara for 5 minutes. Anything and everything will come together soon. Is this me trying to be optimistic? I really believe it and i feel even more self assured because we have one of the best defensive unit in the prem. Seriously, i think that the combination of Areola, Tosin, Ola Aina, Tough Tete, and Robinson if he can play, are a managers dream defence and Scott Parker is manager of those guys. How cool is that? What you guys say 4 points? I confidently say 7-8 points in the next few games or more. I just don't see Fulham languishing in the bottom 3 for too much longer. Sersiosly' Lookman and Anguissa the tank will have something to say about that. Are you kidding me? COME ON FULHAM!!!!

What makes me angry is we are just behind India (1.3bn population), USA (320m), Brazil (210m) and Mexico (128m). Our population is almost half that of Mexico. What went wrong in this country?!

If we think border control is the main driver for the numbers, we are barking up the wrong tree. Until we have control of the situation, border control is not the main culprit. Regarding density, if you been to Mexico or India, you’d find all the main cities are multiple more times heavily populated than even London. If you been to Brazil you will find poverty is so bad, you have 5-6 people in Rio living in a space of a tent. If just want to do a area/ population ratio, there are many many countries much denser. Bad government obviously to blame but I think the combination of obesity and ignorance has been a nasty recipe for the disaster.

I'm sorry but although he have tough games of recent week, we have to face the fact that our club has not won a game since November last year, except the cup came against QPR a champaionship side! Looking at the tranfers in a admittely quiet window nor have we signed a quality striker with premiership experience which I would have thought to be an essential. We have a rookie Manager, who we are supposed to believe that the club is being loyal to, but more near the truth being he will still be Manager next season in the Championship! When fans finall wake up that our Manager, the Management are "past their sell date", then we might get someone in who not only can get us promoted but will actually keep us there!

Apart from Sheffield United, Newcastle and Burnley(league matches)we face the two worst teams in the Premier League in our next two games, and although both are away, we should come out of these games, with 4 points or more, and we all know that anything less, will be rather foreboding, and a quick return to the Championship will be imenant, with nothing more to play for, for the rest of the season.

I can’t believe when I read this morning, Rooney is on £90k a week as a manager for Derby, a bottom of table championship team!! No wonder they have financial difficulties and frankly I have no sympathy anymore. Why would anyone pay a rookie manager, regardless on how good he was as a player, to manage. Championship team. Crazy. I only hope they are not asking to borrow money from the government (our tax money at the end of the day) to pay Rooney’s salary!

It seems that many people on this site believe that Mitro had had his day at Fulham and want rid. I am certainly in the club that thinks that Fulham right now are not playing to his strengths and you can see his frustration at not being involved in the game as much as he used to be, every time he is on the pitch.

It is clear to me that we are around even money to be relegated this season and it is quite possible that we may need our golden child in the Championship next season or even this season.

With that in mind, surely a solution that suits all but ensures that Mitro gets game time and improves his fitness, would be to loan him out to a foreign club (maybe in Serbia's top flight) or a Championship Club vying for promotion?
Replies
Sorry MST, I have to disagree with you in this instance, and there is no way we should even consider letting Mitro go out on loan, as despite him being a bit off form at the moment, providing that we set him up for goals, he will come back to form and start scoring again. Can you imagine what flack Scott Parker would come under if we loaned him out and he started scoring for his new club. No MST, we have got to keep him, play him, and show faith in him, because it seems we are not going to sign another striker in this window, and Mitro could in fact be our last hope, of staying up, if that is going to be the case.
posted by A C (Guest) - Tuesday 26th January 2021, 8:42 AM

Agree we have to keep Mitro as a second option for the rest of this year. If we scrape a few wins or later in the season, we have to take risk and need to be more aggressive, we could revert back to a back four. Mitro is an option we need. Loaning him out now is not an option. With a few days left in the transfer window, selling him is no longer an option either.
posted by John (Guest) - Tuesday 26th January 2021, 8:46 AM

Parker needs to persuade him he needs to develop his game so he can fit in with the way we play now. The best way to score is to come from nowhere into the place the ball is arriving in the box. Static attackers like Mitro are easy to mark out of a game. Championships defences and managers are not as clever as PL ones. Watch the top PL strikers and you will see what I mean.
posted by The Time Is Now - Tuesday 26th January 2021, 9:12 AM

I believe Mitro should move on, which would possibly stimulate his career and free up monies to add to our transfer coffers, problem where would he go and how much could we expect to get ?, not a lot I fear.

too late to think we can find a buyer, sell and reuse the money for another player in this transfer window. Don't think money is a challenge for us, the more money we want to spend, the less likely that player (worth that much) would want to come.

Look at the set-up and player selection. Parker has done a fantastic job getting new players with no EPL experience to gel and be solid. But now I think it’s fair to say he has over-corrected, featuring 5 defenders including Tete and two holding midfielders in Reed and Anguissa. That leaves just three players with goals in them. Knowing there isn’t a Kane or even a Zaha in the squad, that’s too few threats. Mourinho and Roy can play that way bc they have world class finishers. We don’t. And won’t. I think many of us appreciate the way we’re playing from a tenacity perspective, the move away from crab football, and we do look organized. Kudos to Scott for that. But we’ve scored 2 or more goals in only 4 Premier League matches, which perfection and a clean sheet to win. We need 1-2 more men in the box, and 1-2 more players with a goal in them on the pitch.
Replies
It’s a dilemma but I think we need to stay solid we cannot afford to keep letting in soft goals like we were doing at the beginning of the season you will not win many games if you are conceding three and four every game I think we have missed cairney with his ability to create saying that with one or two breaks we could well of had a few more points to date I believe our best chance is to stay up is to stay in games and believe in the football we are playing and with a few breaks we will stay up this season and then with one or two more additions next season will will kick on

Would you adam and eve it' Lucas Piazon has left Chelsea after 8 long years? To be more precise, Chelsea terminated his contract which will help him seal a more permanent move to Rio ave which are Portuguese based. I still say that leg-break up at Leeds blighted his career somehow, he would have fared better without that unfortunate accident. Piazon could do what none of our guys do anytime soon, and that was to unleash a wonder-goal from out of nowhere rifled into the top corner. How many Fulham stars playing now do that kind of stuff? What i find amazing and sad at the same time, is Chelsea loaning out these amazing players like Piazon, Mount, Abraham, etc, the list reads like an ancient scroll. This is a lucrative side business for Chelsea and i just wonder if certain loan stars currently at Chelsea aided in the sacking of Lampard? Did Lampard break protocol by making players like Mason Mount and Abrahams seem more important than the likes of Timo Werner,Thiago Silva, and Christen Pulisic? Frank Lampard is as English as a chip butty and gravy and i also think that he was not able to handle big named foriegn and high profile stars such as them. Lampard tore up the script that all Chelsea managers adhere to? All loanees at Chelsea are 'er' loanees and they are loaned out traditionally to make money. Making Mason Mount Captain for a day, and prioritizing Abraham more so than the big stars might have blown a fuse in the light department on Abraboviches boat? Well' er' a big boat! Maybe forgotten man Lucas Piazon was the final secret weapon Lampard might have called upon to save his job? Piazon nearly worked out for us Fulham, if only not for that unfortunate leg-break? Cheers to Lucas Piazon! Roll on Fulham!!!!!!!

Championship players, currently, out of their depth! Manager learning on the job BUT, doing a GREAT job with "iffy players". Not all BUT, I was sad he picked Anguissa for, he is one shining light who I believed needed a break. As a result, he had to take part in a dismantling by the superstars of Burnley! Kamara, Doca Dova, Mitro , Caviliero, oops! that is our forward line at best, championship or Lge 1. Scott Parker has shocked me as he has developed and produced players, performances and results from a pile of "...."! Unfortunately, he has to be directed by the "I cannot find the right word(s). that are so knowledgeable in football resulting in ONE outcome, RELEGATION!

Should not be anywhere near the first team again !,, scott needs a major clearout of his fringe players and a few new faces in with deepest regret think mitro has serious. Problems swear I saw him double over at one stage Fatigue or injury. Who knows !, unless we get someone in up front this team for all its good football If you don’t score you don’t win ( the score did not bother me although it hurt Wednesday team will be superior but we need a min of 4 points from 6 next two games

Are our youngsters really that bad to go on a free? Kuyne will need a counseling session on hearing this news. Is everything ok poor chap? What's wrong with you lot, we have a perfectly good coach/manager in Scott Parker, so why would we want Lampard or Howe. If at the end of the season we are relegated, that might well be a different story, but for now we should back Scott all of the way. The grass is always greener on the other side, so they say, and then again sometimes its not.

Somehow' i do not think that Lampard's heart would be in Fulham. Now we know that he should have stayed a lot longer at Derby. Liverpool are doing it just fine regarding Gerhard by monitoring him from afar. Gerhard is turning things around at Rangers who didn't deserve the harshest of punishment heaped on them with no thanks to Celtic. It might have worked if Lampard had come to Fulham before Derby but we don't need him now. Scott Parker i believe is more studious and more of a scholar of the beautiful game more so than Lampard. Just look at all the artillery Chelsea have upfront right now and they still struggle for consistency. What would we give for Girude who might have given us more points and move up the league? Parker is doing it all on a shoestring and that is the best way to learn this trade. Lampard or Parker for England in the future? Scotty for me' he loves the game a lot more in my opinion and he will make the better manager in the long run. It will be interesting to see where Lampard ends up next?

Well said Malden. What makes anyone think Lampard is a better manager than Parker? Parker achieved more to date. It’s an insult to switch Parker for Lampard. As for Howe, he’s a good manager but can he get more out of our current team? Not sure. As clearly visible yesterday, our squad has no depth. We have a decent group of 7 or 8 players that’s about it. Until we get decent striker, decent right mid and some depth, Parker cannot do much more and not can many but a very few managers.

If we lose against the Seagulls,I would like Fulham to go for Rafa Benitez as I believe he could do a Roy Hodgson for us and keep us up. He should be given full control as in every dept and TK and Brian Talbot should be kept out of future transfer plans and a blank cheque book to get Fulham in being a top 8 club and staying there. SP should have brought in 2 Strikers as Mitro was showing signs of fatique an needed rest during last summer transfer window and our biggest mistake was to overload our defence and midfield dept into being top heavy.SP has done well but with us having 12 points and not scoring goals says it all we need to move to stay up. Its as simple as that.

Out first team is very solid and if it can start to score a few more goals it will get us out of trouble. Wigan won the cup and got relegated, who remembers that. I genuinely think that Parker didn't throw that game and i also think that his feelings would be hurt if he knows we feel like that. Scotty is a genuine and nice guy and i think very loyal to all his staff. Just look at Kamara who we don't rate? Week in and week out we are flabbergasted on why Parker would play Kamara. I also think that Scott Parker misjudged the capabilities of our 2nd string team. It would have been shocking to see us capitulate as we did. We can take the game against Burnley as a lesson and a reminder that our original back 4 of Ream Bryan, Odoi, and Hector, are just not up to it, and if we play them together, it is curtains for us and back down to that Brentford league. I am surprised that Buzz Bee isn't encouraging us to feature Hector etc? We would be back down to that none league playing the likes of Brentford again. How ghastly is that thought? LOL' Did anyone think that Kamara would hammer Tarkowski? The big guy looked scary walking over to him. I thought it was curtains for Tarkowski, lol....

The first six games convinced Scott that the team that came up and most of the players in it were not good enough. If he believed that Burnley's reserves were as bad as us he was delusional and of course as you have already said he is an intelligent man so he did know that and that is where I have drawn my conclusions from. If you see Scott post match interview it is very telling. Normally he is upset when we lose but you could see despite what he says that he could not care less.

How much longer is this joke of a team being allowed to represent Fulham. Mitro is a disgrace for starters. No goals is so predictable now in most of our games. I like Parker but he deserves better than this rabble. To be honest what was wrong with Ranieri, after all he took Leicester to the premiership title. This club is a nonsense at the moment, nearly every team beats us at home or away. Yes we are going down again. No good you people being in denial, something needs to be done and now. Our games at home against Chelsea and Man U were so so predictable, now dont deny it. We were never going to win at Spurs, and we all knew we would roll over at home to Burnley, albeit the fa cup. The fact is we have a large squad of players and we need to cut the wage bill and recruit quality instead of quantity. If we had a small team by signing some of the good loanees we have and build upon them, in all probability we could have a simular wage bill and then use our youngsters who dont get a fair chance for some reason, probably there age, but other clubs give youngsters a chance. Instead we allow our youngsters who we groom go to other clubs for a pitance. Burnley are a case in point they have a small squad and have been successful, we have the money to be better equiped than them, Seriously look at the players in the Fulham squad, how many are suitable to take us to the top
Replies
In my opinion, the time to experiment with youngsters is not whilst we are in a first season back in the Premier League nor is it when we are in a relegation battle or come to that when we are fighting for promotion.

Cup games against lower opposition is when you see most clubs experimenting or when they are established in the Prem, have injury and/or suspension issues and no fear of relegation. Fulham have not been in that position for eight or nine years now so I can fully understand not blooding youngsters when in the position we are and have been.

It is clear that recruitment has been a problem in the past and although we have some good loanees this term we should also not forget some of the gems that we have actually bought outright. Adarabioyo for example was a steal at £2m. Kenny Tete, Antonee Robinson, Kongolo and Anguissa are all very good, Prem quality players and with loanees like Like Andersen, Lookman, Areola and Aina, we should be doing better.

Not the first choice squad in my opinion as they are all very good players, what we need, is what everyone has been bleating on about, is a couple of good mobile strikers and better quality on the bench. We saw our bench (pretty much) yesterday and they were outplayed by (pretty much) Burnley's bench.

We have a small squad who are good enough to survive in this division we have lot of other players who are not good enough by a long way. If one of our back three gets injured they would be replaced by someone we know is not good enough. We have enough cover in midfield but we only have one striker who is completely disenchanted with the World.

We all have opinions & I like to think that whether I agree or not I try to see the others point of view. However I cannot agree with those who are critical of Joe Bryan. Don't compare him with Robinson, they are different types of player. There is room in the team for both of them, which if you add Lookman, makes for a very strong left hand side. With all players fit we are also strong down the right & defensively. We just need one or two decent strikers. Not easy I totally understand, but the lower divisions or lesser European clubs must have one or two regular scorers...what are the scouts doing. But please lay off Joe Bryan, unless you want to criticise him for getting us to the Premiership in the first place.

To be fair and honest about Joe Bryan, his name popped up recently because he had a good game a while back in a cup game i think? Somebody wrote that Bryan should rightfully have his place back but a bit further up? I agree Den that we have a very strong left side and Bryan and a few others have a place in this Fulham team. Scott Parker has tried the big changes that obviously don't work and he would have noted that detail. Most teams try the clever stuff by ringing the changes in cup competitions and a lot get it wrong. Derby not in the prem got it wrong against Chorley town. Fulham were wrong-footed by an organized and stick to the basics Burnley who have much prem experience. It would be unfair to Scott Parker to sack him on this result because we are playing perfectly okay against bigger teams without scoring goals to win and pick up points. Not Scotty's fault that we have misfiring strikers and waiting for a striker. Give him the benefit of the doubt and by all means introduce Joe Bryan into a slot when needed and he will perform. Just don't go there with a complete new 10 or 11 line-up. We are doomed to fail if this nonsense goes on and i am confident that Parker will put a scratch against this in his notes and move on. We should draw a line under it too...

I have read on this site about how good last summers signings were..... Lets be honest Loan Players don't count because if we get relegated we have to start all over again... Khan has wasted a lot of money actually buying players Seri, Mawson, Hector, Marchant, Cavaleiro, Kamara, Knockart to name a few... do I need to go on... Just look at those names how many of them would walk into another Premiership Team, yes he has got some decent players but only a small percentage of those he has brought to the club... If Khan is not responsible he needs to sack the entire scouting team...... Where are the young talent we have not seen any come through in the last two years that have made an impact.

To be honest' there was no way that we could gel our so-called 2nd string to beat a competent and organized Burnley first-team squad. I feel sorry for Tosin and what we put him through today. I wrote a few days ago that we should not stray away from our defensive unit of Tosin Andersen, Tete, and Aina. Rodak had no chance to prove anything today and we should beat ourselves up about this result. For the spirit of the FA cup, we were embarrassing and we let all of football down. To string a ball to out of sorts Josh Onomah was never going to work because Onomah is notoriously slow to come to the boil. Parker knows him more than we do and if from memory we remember that Onomah took the best part of several games to get up to speed. Anguissa was out there on his own in trying to weave up the pitch to out of sorts Mitrovic and Parkers lost boy Kamara. To be fair to Kamara, he actually tried a few shots and he wasn't the worst out there. Joe Bryan like i suspected is not in the same league as Robinson who we miss. At least Robinson will have had some decent rest-time and ready to come back for this 2nd half of the season. I shouldn't be too hard on any of our squad today to be honest. My idea on shuffling our defence can work if we play 3 of our first team squad and draft in Hector only or whoever is needed. The same goes for our midfield. Anguissa needed more familiararity and people he knows to string balls too. Onomah and Bryan around him have no clue. Very few teams can put out a different 11 that can perform to standard so don't be too hard on our boys today. Scott Parker tried it and it failed, now we move on, back to the league and back to the real business...

Sorry but we need to get real unlike Mr Parker. I keep hearing his after match talks about how hard we are trying and how we are getting it right. The truth is we have not won a league match since November. I keep hearing how well the team is playing. The truth is we are Five points and goal difference behind Brighton and seven behind the teams above that. I keep hearing we only lost by one goal against some top teams but in realistic terms we still lost and got no points. I keep hearing the effort is there. Has he watched Mitrovic Kamara Hector and some of the others recently. If we lose to Brighton on Wednesday we are doomed and without a goal scorer that is very likely. What confidence must there be in our team at the moment when half of them don't know what winning is. I would love to be wrong but what I can see is a nice new stadium half full as when we do get back people wont want to watch championship football. The only thing we will get for sure is the same post match comments about how unlucky we were and that we are really a good side.

Have said it for some time, we need a mass clear out within the club, I don't think the owners will get rid of PARKER this season but a start in the championship needs good coaching skills not more of the verbal diarrhoea we keep hearing.

Stick with Parker and rebuild squad. But it is so important we don’t get relegated as we need to rebuild with the stronger players we have now on loan.

Parker has one of the worst records for a premiership what ?15% win games not good enough. both Khan snr and jnr must see that through whatever recommended channels they must have wasted the best part of 100m on buying rubbish. Reluctant to say it but could we borrow Brentford's scouting staff for a season or so.

So we made 8 changes today,so did Burnley. We wouldn't have beaten them with our full side, they would have still put away one of there chances which is basically all you need to beat us.out of both cups can't see us catching those above us let's hope Brentford stay down and QPR stay up so we have 2 derbies next season. Ps.if were allowed to go
Replies
Dave, please don't talk such nonsense you can't compare FA Cup matches with league matches. From what you are saying is if Manchester City had lost to Cheltenham yesterday, they wouldn't win the league. All today's match has proved, is that Burnley's second eleven is slightly better than ours, so what, as our first team is better than theirs every day of the week, and thats what matters. I must admit that come what may, we must play Mitro against Brighton, as he does look a bit slimmer, and he did score with a header, although disallowed, due to that useless idiot Kamara straying offside. How on earth is he ever considered good enough to play in any of our teams. He isn't even good enough for the under 23 team. Get rid of him now.

A superior squad Dave, they have only scored 9 goals this season and conceded 22, and we have scored 14 and conceded 25, so we have a much better goal difference and we have had much harder fixtures than them. As for saying that Burnley will finish 10 points in front of us at the end of the season, how many beers have you had today. Well you had better save some for May when we will all have a toast to Fulham finishing above Burnley, who will probably be in the bottom three by then. Just because they fluked a win over Liverpool, and there first eleven beat or scratch side, does not make them a good team, and if you watched them play both Manchester United and Liverpool, they did not have one shot on goal, and would have played until next Christmas without scoring if Liverpool hadn't presented them with a jammy penalty, and that was harsh.

Burnley are an established PL team so their eight reserves are bound to be better than our eight reserves who are Championship players. We were never going to win that match which is what Parker planned.

If you have watched any of the cup games involving Pl teams and Championship team you will see the Championships team have virtually nothing to stop or hurt a PL team. Parker would definitely get us relegated if he didn’t build a new team like he’s done. Get behind the club we need to survive no chance of winning the cup anyway.Mitro lost he’s confidence but was so static today and kept losing the ball will struggle if he leads the line.

Was SP just being clever by fielding a team of proven failures at this level. He could have fielded a team of youngster for experience, o.k the result may have been the same or even worse but at least he would have learnt something about what is coming through. Today he would have learnt nothing apart from proving a point to the owners he needs a stronger squad at least I hope that it is why else would he play repeated failures.

Struggling to find a positive today. 3 shots today at home to Burnley so one every half hour. I am sure Mr Parker will be proud of his lads! Weak poor performance nothing to do with snow or pitch same for both sides. one set of players wanted the win other set wanted to get back in the warm!

Personally I couldn't give a monkeys about todays result, as we were never going to win the cup anyway this season, and SP knew that as well and that's why he fielded a scratch side, apart from a couple of regulars, and those regulars shone above the rest while making sure that they didn't take any knocks. Burnley can now go away into more fixture pile ups, and hopefully they will get the impression that they will do the same to us when we play them in our league matches. Have they got a surprise coming when we take it seriously.

I suppose none of us will be to upset by today's result or performance, as long as it doesn't adversely affect our ability to get out of relegation. We knew the back 5 we fielded at the start of this season was not good enough and, if they're only playing occasionally, they're not going to improve. We just have to hope that we don't lose too many of our first chouce back 5 (or 6) at any one time and their return lifts the midfield and forwards. It seems Loftus Cheek might not be so bad after all!

Burnley are a Premier League team who have pulled themselves out of the bottom three with a series of good wins. So they are better than us and are an established PL team so there reserves are bound to be better than ours a lot of whom are Championship quality players. Parker wanted us out of the cup while we are in the bottom three. The team Parker put out was set up to lose. Unfortunately it made Mitro look even more a man out of time.

I don't think anyone enjoys watching on a surface like that & it definitely better suits a team like Burnley more than us, but, you can hardly blame the club or ground staff for a deluge of snow for a couple of hours before the game. What are they supposed to do about the pitch in that situation? Any suggestions I am sure will be welcome if there is a magic solution to stop a grass pitch cutting up after being covered in snow!

I would start with better drainage. Standing water never a good thing. Watched both matches a mile apart this morning. The difference in qualities of the pitches was stark. One was a proper premier league ground, and they had less time to prepare the pitch. It’s obvious I’m alone on an island on this one. To me it’s just another sign of the acceptance of mediocrity that’s runs throughout this club and it’s supporters. No pride in even the little things. If you can’t be premier League quality in all areas, you can’t be in the Premier league. Simples. I will now prepare myself for the posts in the next couple weeks on how the Championship is a much better league to be in anyways.

This seasons shows how much we the fans matter. The match statistics show it is easier to win away this season than it has ever been before. The big teams have huge grounds with massive vocal support is the difference between winning and loosing. Without that we get lots of surprise results and home advantage is negated. Let us hope this helps our survival as our home support does not give us much of an advantage so we may do better without them.

You're not alone where the offside rule is concerned now, it changes from game to game depending on who has the whistle and who's sitting in front of the VAR screen... it's now a very unfunny joke. But we didn't lose today because of the laws of the game, we lost today because most of the team couldn't care less and gave up. Adarabayo must be wondering what he did to deserve to play alongside Ream and Hector who have clearly had it and shouldn't wear our shirt again.

Mitrovic was a top class international striker and doesn't actually give a crap anymore. Kamara is second class and Ream couldn't play to this standard seasons ago. This is my problem with Joe Bryan. There is more required of a left-back than delivering dead-ball free kicks. There needs to be more on the table. His accuracy was way off and Mitrovic was feeding off scraps, not that Mitro offered much. Sessegnon was not the best defending, but he offers more to the feed table. If you are going to feature, make something happen. Deliver better balls into the penalty area. Burnley got more balls into the danger area nice and early. Today wasn't the day to over-pass and linger on the ball. Keep it simple and put balls into areas for guys to run on too. Joe Bryan, show that you are not a one-trick pony. All eyes are on you because of that wonder-goal that got us up. You can no longer live on those memories, give us something else to talk about. Whatever anyone has to say about Sessegnon, he has the ability to make something happen. Today we needed the magic of Lookman because he can make things happen. Loftus Cheek is showing that he will and he can be a big part of our season still. Maybe unfair critism on our part. Maybe we should and we can give Loftus more support???

What should have been an advertisement to encourage any half interested newcomer to the club will have had the opposite effect. I see Johanson is moving out.
