Sorry to learn of the passing of "gentleman" Jack, being Mr Jack Charlton of England 1966 and Leeds United. Say what you like about any team would still like to have a centre back like Jack Charlton today. Leeds United, it wasn't always pretty, but it was successful under Don Revie. He resurrected his career elsewhere and no more succesfully than as Manager of Eire Republic. Talking of centre backs This is from Brede Hangeland talking about Craig Bellamy. During the handshakes before the game, Bellamy took my hand. He was a head lower than me. He looked me straight in the eye and said, "You f****** w*****". I was thinking, “What the hell? I've never even met you!" Amazing insight, but we're not sure how popular Hangeland will be if he ever comes back to the Premier League. Why not get him in as a coach for our defence or use him to look out for tallented footballers in Scandinavia?

Sessegnon went off to Spurs with a good solid reputation and Josh Onomah came our way as part of the deal. It was a decent exchange as far as i am concerned. They got our best talent we produced and we got Onomah who was a dud to start with. We did warn Spurs that young Sess wasn't a true left-back and so on. Tottenham only have Mourinho to blame for their troubles because Mourinho ruins youth development. The clock is ticking down to the time that Daniel Levy brings the axe down on Mourinho. In the meantime, we are developing and growing Josh Onomah, who is going to be a monster talent for Fulham. I shouldn't blame Tottenham or Mourinho too much because big clubs don't always have the patience or time to develop young players. In the pursuit of a Champions league spot and 4th place at best, Spurs can only dream of ever winning the prem again. Especially with Mourinho in charge, no chance!!!

Thing about Brentford no doubt form team but only 6 games if they don’t go up automatically they have a terrible record in the playoffs I predict if they don’t get automatic they’ll loose in the semi and we’ll beat opposition in the final presuming we win our play off

No reason not to give credit where it’s due. They don’t have resources to sign players like Mitro, TC, Cav, Knockaert but they have outperformed us so far this year. Their coaching, players and style of play would likely see them stay up too, so I hope they make it. I also think it’s fair to say we have a better chance against West Brom at Wembley. It’s all about this next match, obviously. If we win and Brentford lose or draw we can take it to the last day for 2nd.

According to the Sun's Alan Dixon's column, Chris Hughton, would jump at the chance to manage Fulham, if we fail to get promotion this season, and Scotty Parker is sacked. Sounds good, but ask any Brighton fan around where I live in Susses, and they would tell you that they wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, as he plays boring, I must not lose football, which we wouldn't put up with for a moment. Even if we miss out this season, and only Brentford in my opinion, are our biggest problem, should we meet them at Wembley, then I have a feeling that the Khan's will give Scotty Parker another season to get us back to the Premier League, as although I have been one of his biggest critics, he has almost got us back at the first attempt, and of course he might yet do it even now, so maybe he is not that bad after all.
Replies
Like many on this site I'm not a great fan of our present manager, but give the man his due we are starting at long last to look and play like a decent side who could return to the Premier league one way or another. WBA will be real test of where we are.At times we look realy good inspite of not taking enough of our chances. Obviously Brentford will be tough to crack as they are playing at the top of their game, unlike many on our site I have no interest in them as a club, but no one can deny they deseserve to be near the top of the league.

Parker showed an incredible amount of tactical awareness to win three games without our best player. He changed tactics a number of times in each match and the players obviously love him. This is a very difficult league to succeed in an we have done very well. We have an excellent manager both inspirational and a tactical genius. Stop knocking him and start praising him.

Return of Cairney creates a dilema: For me, must starters are Rodak, Hector, Reed, Onomah (in cam) and Mitro. Form the team around that. But where does Cairney come in? The Arter-Reed pairing makes us more solid, and Arter has proven his worth with goals against Forrest and Qpr. Plus, i feel we are quicker moving the ball up the pitch without Cairney, less solid defensively with him, and he is in no-mans-land when playing as a CAM. But he is the captain, experienced, and has a touch of magic no other playing in our team has. So, does he play? Who goes? Presumably Arter, in which case does this slow us down, and weaken us defensively. The recent cameo of Prime StefJo also forces him into contention. The only thing I know for certain is that Bobby Reid is not a striker, and without Reed we are a mid table team at best.
Replies
I would much rather we kept Cairney on the bench.Tom has been a fine servant to the club in recent years but this season he has been less than impressive.Although Tom is our official captain, let's be honest, his leadership is non-existant.As for Bobby Dec.,the young man obviously has talent and always puts in a good effort. However he is plainly not a striker. So that's two issues to be addressed for next season-find a genuine goal-scorer to help Mitro and appoint a genuine leader as captain.

Johansen will be very important to our late charge. The puzzle about him is his fitness and can he play a full 90 minutes? Not saying we will be needing Johansen to complete a full shift, but a full fitness in him will help. We still struggle to finish off moves and score goals between the likes of Knockaert, Cavaliero, Bobby Reid, etc. Against Cardiff Mitro made the penalty and executed it, 1 goal. Reid struggles a lot in the striker role because he is too light-weight. His scoring boots isn't the best and he missed a header point-blank. We can see the difference in Johansen for 30 odd minutes. Johansen is experienced and his know-how can close out games if we need to. The rapidly improving Josh Onomah will benefit in having Johansen on the pitch, and for 90 minutes if able. It didn't take long for Onomah to pick up the pass from Johansen which tells me a lot. Tom Cairney could be crucial in playing. Only a fool will dismiss Cairney over the other 3 in Cavaliero, and Knocks etc. If we have a situation where we cannot make a breakthrough against Brom? The potential creativness of Cairney can come into play...
posted by OWEN (Guest) - Sunday 12th July 2020, 2:16 AM

We are certainly more direct and more potent without Cairney. He is however a very good player and if Parker tells him to be more positive he can still make a contribution. Parker made some brilliant tactical changes when Mitro and TC were missing and I trust him to improve the whole team even more. Some of us are beginning to realise what a top manager we have.

This site is for opinions and of course they are different from one supporter to another but Arter should not get a place in the team over Johansen and as others have said already his pass without looking in the first half which almost led to a Cardiff goal was criminal. However I do applaud the goals he has scored.

Tom Cairney has been mainly ineffective this season,as for captain never seen Such an uninspiring figure as a captain. He’s a decent championship player but would be looking to unload him, leave him in the bench he might be able to give us a decent last 20 minutes.

Agree totally Chief about TC. Mind you giving the armband to Mitro after his MMA antics at Elland Road was both laughable and ridiculous. In my opinion Hector should be made Captain as he's an inspriring figure and would command respect from those around him.

Harrison Reed, a holding midfielder, is the focal point under SP - probably bc he’s the player most like Parker in the squad. Parker has shifted the emphasis from Slavisa where it was waves of attack, all orchestrated by TC and some by StefJo. Now TC is ancillary. He looks lost and without purpose in our methodical possession game. We are now a true 4-2-3-1 under SP, whereas Slav almost played a 3-4-3 in attack, with Odoi/KMac/Ream at the back. And it shows in the clean sheets. Point being: TC would be happier and more effective with a different manager and system. Look at how Ollie Norwood has thrived at Sheffield United. It’s all about fit, this is a bad one.

Once upon a time i followed the gee-gees, and i followed a horse closely by the name of Binderee. Binderee romped home in the grand national trained by Nigel Twistern Davis. Tom Cairney just might be pivotal in our season yet, i wouldn't write him off. Cairney can handle the big occasions and we must not forget his great goal for us in the playoff final. The killer pass was executed by Sessegnon, so there you go. We might have a another big game like that one and trust me' there is no substitute for experience and form. Tom Cairney just like a good horse, will run into form at the right time...

Looks like we may be in with a chance to return to the big boys club, if the Manager can muster a victory over West Brom, we might not even need the play offs. I am worried though if we do go up, we really do not need another season like the last in the Premiership. What do you think? How many of our current side could cut it in the Premiership week in week out. There is not going to be the money but surely we will have learned the lessons from last time and not go out and buy French and other foreign players who have great potential, but no experience in the top flight in this country. We need to pick up players with a few years left in their legs who have played regularly at the top! Nothing else will do unless we become a YO YO club. Bournemouth have a couple of decent players but not Harry Arter (sorry Stuart, hope this does not mean trouble at home).
Replies
Most teams that are coming up will be yo-yo clubs now because it is so much more difficult to settle down. Sheff Utd have found the strategy and i don't know how they do it but they are doing it. It is a far contrast to teams like Villa who are struggling. Money doesn't always solve problems, but you still need to invest something. Norwich are the perfect example of the typical yo-yo club we are talking about here. They have been up and down so many times now we have lost count. Delia Smith is a recipe for disaster and she will surely sack the manager now? Maybe Delia should do something different and not sack the manager? It worked for Bournemouth and Burnley...

Well, we've made the playoffs so well done the lads. Against Cardiff we made so many mistakes, Arter again, Ream and that cavalier Horton but luckily, so did Cardiff. Anyway, recent performances showed we are not ready for return to EPL. I believe Villa are a better side and have we ever beaten Bournemouth? No question that the best team in the top 6 is Brentford. Against Derby (Rooney and teenagers) they were solid and I tried to count how often they passed the ball back - not much I promise you. Last statistic I saw when we lost was that we had 77% possession with half that from Kearney to Ream to Horton to Rodat (and back). I really do want FFC back in EPL but realistically, well ....

The chances are anything short of 9 points from the next 3 games won't be enough. We don't yet know what our last 3 games will be, which is the point I was trying to make. So we’re now gauranteed a play off place, after our usual slow start we’re now gaining momentum and will be tough to beat in the playoffs. All the criticism Parker has been accused of maybe some of it questionable congratulations to him and he’s staff,1st season in charge won’t be considered a success until we’re promoted. Although looking at teams coming down definitely nothing to worry about next season.
Replies
Yeah he has matched Slav who got knocked out against reading in the playoffs and it’s sp first ever full season as a manager. I think he has always had one eye on making a team who will stay up if they get promoted and to do that make a team that is hard to beat rather than free flowing full of goals, as we saw last time that kind of team gets ripped apart in the premiership. I think he is now rotating and concentrating on getting the squad ready for the playoffs, where again been hard to beat is historically a good formula, even Slav put the breaks on when we won the playoffs against derby and villa. We were unlucky to play Leeds and Brentford straight out of lockdown, I think if we’d have got them when we were originally going to we would of got some points from those matches. It’s great to see everyone on here getting behind the team.

There was nothing whatsoever classy in our performance against Cardiff who put up a good fight. Our passing was over-kill on a lot of final balls and we can do better. Maybe just maybe, we are slowly coming to the boil nicely but we need to polish things up out there on the pitch. We have not quite got the slickness yet of past Fulham teams but there is still time. Johansen should be first on the team-sheet because of his experience, and experience will help out players like the ever-improving Josh Onomah. I have been very critical of Scott Parker, but he can be very proud for the work he put in with young Onomah. The more i see of this guy, is the more i like him. Onomah is strong as an oxx and he looks so composed on the ball. I liked the way he took his goal and cool' no need for a big hoo-ahh celebration. Brilliant snap-shot bang on target. Bobby Reid and Knockheart should clean his boots and learn to shoot straight! Johansen is pure experience. Do you see how he recieves the ball and his slight body turning away and drawing in player to commit a fowl? Johansen goes to ground to eat up some more time. You can't buy that experience. We have chance after chance in and around the box, but again our final ball is not good enough until Johansen enters the battle. That pass to Onomah in a tight area is what was needed and Johansen is our man. Over to you Scotty Parker and we can take the fight to West Brom. A combination of Onomah, Johansen, and what the heck' bring back Tom Cairney. We will need much more cohesion and accuracy in our passing game against 'Better' opposition. We will need to be sharper and do let's quicken up the tempo. Tim Ream if he plays will need to defend better against better opposition. We need more of a positive impact from Knockheart, Cavaleiro, and Bobby Reid. Especially in the goal department. COME ON FULHAM!!! WE CAN B&Q IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cardiff make it difficult whoever they play as when they get the ball they nearly always get it in the box in dangerous areas. We defended everything they threw at us, had a lot of possession, created a good number of chances and scored two goals, one a very good one. That was one of the most impressive games of the season as far as I am concerned. If we had played like that against Leeds and Brentford we would have on. It looks promising as you need a solid defence to win the playoffs.

Other than Arter, who was off his game, we played well. More chances created than in most matches, easily could've been 5-0 with those three point-blank headers for Bobby, Cyrus and Neeskens. Nice to finally see StefJo on the pitch for longer stretch, he's always been a creative passer. Mitro doesn't seem 100% fit, but he worked hard tonight. The team seems to be rounding into shape. Very impressive again by Harrison Reed. We haven't been the second best team in the league this year... but stranger things have happened! COYW!

I agree that Bobby Reed is a superb addition to the team. I don't think I have seen him play badly in any game since the restart. Can anybody tell me why Fulham haven't snapped him up,yet we have given permanent contracts to Knockaert and Cavaleiro. I am not yet convinced that these two add anything to the team except to run about a lot without any end product.

It probably was a penalty, but it was a soft one, but overall we are second best, despite being in the load. I do feel sorry for Bobby Reed, as he tries so very hard but time and again over the season, he either hits the bar, or keepers make great saves, surely his luck must change soon.

Not lovely to watch, but a very workmanlike win, and we showed tremendous guts, against the Rough House Rangers, crumbs I wouldn't want to watch that lot week after week. What has changed for us, is the form of Reed, who was great again tonight, and Bobby Reid, who just needs a goal from all of his hard work. It was our attack that was supposed to win of a place of spot, now guaranteed, but all of a sudden it's our defence that is seeing us through.

Yes it is difficult to understand, but Simon has a point. What value has Talbot and his son given to justify their positions of recruiting talent for the Club. A Tony clone yes man, sitting in his office doing sod all and ticks the boxes when asked to do so. If we had a competent scout who actually visited grounds around the country and watched lower league matches, we might actually have unearthed a Dele Alli , Varney type player. Bring back Mike Rigg, all's forgiven.

Just seen several other sites that the scousers are saying they will not move on their offer of 750k for Elliott. .The arbitration panel says the will discuss the issue 2/3 months after the restart of new season.I wonder if its worth having a youth policy, training, educating & generally developing these young lads only to be mugged by the big boys. several successful championship clubs have withdrawn their youth sides spending their saved monies on scouting.A fairer system would be a set fee rising to a sum on appearances, internationals, or sell on fees.
Replies
I’ve often thought the fairest way would be a sell on fee. Only issue is that Elliot is a Liverpool fan. If he becomes their next Steven gerrard we wouldn’t ever receive a fee.

At the start of the season, Fulham were nailed on favorites to cake-walk this league and we fell short. In a Punch and Judy show, they would reply, 'oh no you are not the greatest' and we have been embarrassing and some early results such as Barnsley tell us that we have let ourselves down. Tom Cairney will not need telling that he has not performed to his best and so too does Knockaert and Mitrovic. Knockaert has secured a nice permanent contract and somebody thinks there is enough talent in him. Mitrovic has had time to relax and reflect on his season so far. His school teacher would say' 'good' but could do better! Big Mitro knows what he can do and what a key man should be doing so we can expect big things from the big man, watch out Brentford! Scott Parker's reign is not the best by his standards and he knows this. If only Scotty can get Cairney playing well again on the ball and tweak this Fulham side and getting them to play better, would be a dream come true. It would make a nice end to a fairy-tale if we do it, whatever it is? Who knows, the top 2 might slip up yet, or we might even steal the thunder and glory from the grasp of our nearest and not so dearest Brentford? Any of these exotic dreams of promotion delite will be ever so yummy, and all the Scott Parker doubters will be 'er' doubters no more! Can we B&Q IT? Mad Harry Arter and Scotty Parker think we can! COME ON FULHAM!!!!!

In fairness to Knockaert his work rate is very good he works tirelessly for the team and if you look at most of the goals conceded There are very few that come from his side of the field. With his talent I would of like to see him score a few more goals but I think he is a very good team player.

All I can say is we bought good players the past season but should have nailed it earlier with Michael Hector. Should have got an experienced centre half on loan in place. I reckon if we had Joka in charge we would have cake walked it. Regarding our forward line I think the fault lies with the fact that pouncing about passing sideways and backwards disrupts our forwards momentum hence the low goal figures from Cav, Knockers Reid and others when we should have had more. Parker's at fault with his cautious safety Football and tend to be found out. We all loved the Cavalier style Joka gave us and rather Fulham get Joka type Manager for next season than Parker's Crab style Football.
posted by Metchick's Marvel (Guest) - Friday 10th July 2020, 11:20 AM

Metchicks' your explanation is simply 'gignere', not many have the high IQ in excellence. Joka's cavalier style was more penetrative and just great football to watch. His prem debut was nothing to write home about, but there are reasons for this or some would say excuses? People are shouting up for the likes of Howe from Bournemouth, Sean Dyche? Didn't they get relegated first time around? Clubs such as Bournemouth and Burnley are better run clubs and i think they have shown a lot more patience than our setup. It was always going to be difficult for Slavisa the first time of asking, but they might have listened and expanded on his ideas for certain players he would have preferred after Mitrovic. With the sudden influx of players like Seri and marchand, it was too late. Slavisa had what he had to work with and that is an impossible situation in a short time, especially new to the premiership. We have what we have now, so lets give our support to Scott Parker. At least for this season...

We haven't seen it' but we know that he's got it' and i am talking about Knockaert. Now that he has signed on to us permanently, maybe we can get the best from him? A new contract is i think a welcome boost and a sigh of relief to Knockaert and family. Tom Cairney is our longest-serving player today as it stands, and i am sure he will want to leave his mark amongst this current line up of Fulham players. We know a lot more to know without Mitrovic and Cairney out of the picture and things have been ticking along nicely and most pleasantly i may add. Mitrovic will know that deep down to the bottom of his heart, he for various reasons has not performed to his best. None of what i say is an attempt to eek a performance from players tomorrow night. Leeds have won 5-0 against a poor not trying enough Stoke side. This result might be curtains for the Stoke manager i think? It is looking more than likely that Brom and Leeds are on for automatic promotion now, all we can do now is to put in some good performances for us Fulham. Is there another twist to this strange season of football? Concerning Scott Parker, can he continue our winning ways by introducing Mitro and Cairney back in the fold? We have not played that well together with these 3 guys permanently in the squad and we can question if Parker is able to tweak this squad and maintain our winning run of of games? These are the questions i think that all the doubters and anti-Parker mob are asking. It is always a nice story that one of our own can come good and to be able to complete the fairytale would be fantastic. So our game tomorrow against lowly opposition Cardiff can be a breeze if Scott Parker can get more from a well documented talented squad. May i remind any Fulham fan who cares to listen? Fulham were the favorites at the start of the season for one good reason. We are by far the best team in this league, so hows about we prove it to ourselves firstly, and to everyone else, especially that Brentford lot. COME ON FULHAM, WE CAN B&Q IT!!!!!!!

The way we played against Forest has given me some hope that we can beat any other teams (come back to Brentford later) in the championship. First is a typical championship team. Strong. Tall. Decent ball skills and can score. We found a way to beat them away, we can find away to beat Cardiff, Preston, Swansea and all the teams fighting for the final spot. I believe we have a better chance beating West Brom than Brentford but I can’t see Brentford catching them. On current form Brentford can beat us again but by the end of this month, the strength of our squad in come into play. We’d have more options and hopefully fitter players. So I am still very hopeful.

So 2 points from four games (hopefully against WBA) would secure our place. Yes we do have a better goal difference.than Swansea. Top two ia possible ,but unlikely.

I’m glad, Will, you concluded by saying you would rather go up, despite the anxieties! (Or perhaps, because of.) Anyway, crowd size and budget are important factors in survival there, thats why we are redeveloping craven Cottage. Even West Hame are struggling to survive in the Premier with an average crowd size of over 58,000. Still, we must learn the lessons from Wolves and their great form - and their average crowd is just 31,000. Promoted last season, they always looked happy in the Premier. How do they do it?

It was interesting to read the BBC report on Brighton's match last night, as it was happening, regarding Liverpool's first two goals. The report stated that the goals resulted from Brighton trying to play the ball out from the back and not having the players with the ability to carry this out successfully. This idea has been embraced by many coaches regardless of whether they have players with or without the ability to implement this method. I watched the highlights on television and each of Liverpool's first two goals resulted from defenders being pressurised into making silly mistakes. One could not help thinking of our defence who persist with this method regardless of it resulting in conceding goals. Everyone knows how we play and teams which play high up the field or have speedy forwards will catch our defence out time and time again. I believe we would benefit from varying our tactics and moving the ball far more quickly in order to release our front men before teams put ten men behind the ball.
Replies
There is nothing wrong in playing out from the back , Man City seem to have got the hang of it. Problem with our style of play is we are so slow and predictable, should we manage to go up can't realy see us surviving playing as we do at the moment ,

There IS something wrong with playing out from the back if your defenders are not good enough or confident enough and especially when the opposition press high . It was plainly obvious that it was a mistake waiting to happen to Brighton last night and it is obvious to most fulham fans that we are not good enough to do it . Not obvious to our coaching team though
posted by Alan (Guest) - Thursday 09th July 2020, 9:38 AM

We should mix it up only play out from back when defenders are not marked. Playing longer when there pressing up will give fast forward more space. And clear your lines when under pressure . You do need world class players to play out from back all the time, and even Man City and Chelsea get caught out. So what chance have lower premiership clubs got playing that way. It got Jokanovic the sack because he would not change . We need to mix it up if we go up. The rumour is Gray said it would not work in Premiership and that was the reason Jokanovic got rid.

Should we go up and SP remains in charge, don't see how he could change the style of football we play Of course every side wants the chance to play against the top teams, but don't think many of would fancy us to survive.

If we go up, both these signings will be FA Cup and League Cup players. Neither is good enough to start on a weekly basis in the Prem if we want to stay there. I also think the signings indicate a massive overhaul is coming. StefJo, KMac, Betts, Christie, possibly even Ream and Odoi will be sold or loaned next year if promoted. Mawson, LeMarchand and Kebano too. If we don’t go up, I think Mitro leaves, plus many of those same players.

Automatic and playoff positions this season are certainly on a knife edge, with no runaway leaders WBA, Leeds, Brentford, are at least all in the playoffs, even if they lose all their remaining games. The next 5 teams are all in the running for the playoffs. auto: promoted Leeds WBA the Bees must be favourites, but there again who knows

I personally think it highlights Parkers inability to get the best out of our strongest squad. Also possibly highlights that the managers don't get the players that they ask for. Parkers 2 signings have both bailed us out in recent games. Maybe, just maybe, had parker been more involved in transfers he would have players that better suit his style.

Think it just proves how valuable/unavailable these 2 players are, clearly top earners at the club. Jury’s still out until all fixtures including play offs on Parker, all these doubters, moaners hold fire he’s first full season in charge still with a possibility of getting promoted can’t really sack him if we make it to the premier league. Still disappointed with our so called big players we apparently have the best squad in this division if that were true surely we’d be top or nearer promotion time will tell!

I never thought i would say it but Harry Arter impressed me today with his work ethic, perhaps because he was playing further up the pitch which suited him, A great goal. Onamah did ok but his ball control at times was poor. Cavalero does not work hard enough for me, Knockart came on his shooting recently has been poor but he works his socks of both in attack and defence. Reem still worries me when he is on the ball. Overall a good performance. Parker has to ask himself why we are not scoring many goals we proven goal scorers in the side, perhaps its his tactics of moving the ball to slowly. If we manage to get promoted a lot of hard work needs to be done regarding Pace. Brentford have proved how important that is.

I notice we have signed Lockhaert today, I am a little puzzled as to why we are dragging our feet regarding signing Harrison Reid, providing he wants a permanent move, since he returned from injury the midfield has been very much improved, come on Fulham get your pen out and sign a decent and honest player.

Could possibly be that there is a promotion clause in it.

O David, As far as I am aware when Harrison signed on loan there was a option to buy clause in the contract, as was in the contracts of Lockhaert and the guy from Wolves who we have since made permanent.

No I agree. I think there are options on all loanees but the options might differ. Reeds might only come into effect if we get promoted. He may also decide he doesn't want to stay after he has seen Parker ball up close. The fee may also depend on our final position at the end of the season so maybe we have to wait until the end of the season.

For all of you who have no wish to read the actual I give below the crux of the letter:- "The free exchange of information and ideas, the lifeblood of a liberal society, is daily becoming more constricted." I agree that our society is suffering from undue pressure from various and many minority elements trying to impose their views on the majority. I, for one, believe these minority groups are being given too much power because the majority, as always, remain silent. I have witnessed and read of this happening in the past and, as a result, many countries and even the world have suffered.

At issue over the last few months of your posting is your apparent desire to demand the eradication of anything you don’t agree with. If you try to suppress free speak you’ll end up like the Nazis and the Communists, not to forget many religions down the centuries burning books and who knows people. It hasn’t worked before and it ain’t going to work now. Give it a break and more importantly us a rest from your incessant ranting. What the world/UK is experiencing is Marxism as a result of a decades long boredom and lack of ideals. That’s what makes people virtue-signal and to search for meaning in places where there’s no meaning. It’s a direct result of a peaceful and consumerist environment which builds the perception that one could be the centre of the Universe, it leads to a total delusion. Marxism only rides those deeply concerning tendencies in the society. It rides the social alienation, it rides the unsolved social-layering issues, it rides the hatred by searching for enemies. All that is in fact a searching for meaning. Once the meaning is found and the society can recognise it, then Marxism is over.

It's just when you make a point of me insulting MST whilst ignoring the shots fired by your fellow moderator. You have a view of me that I cause the trouble, but it's the constant posts that are provocative and not about football. I just call it when I see it. I have no intention of being drawn into a long drawn out argument over racism which I disagree strongly. Before I retired I had many coloured friends (people who were non-white and therefore coloured) who were also drinking buddies. Unfortunately, being out in the sticks I only see some of them very occasionally. Being an athletics fan I was also appalled by the recent incident of the car being stopped and the two athletes being handcuffed. However, we must await the outcome of the forthcoming enquiry but how it can be said, by the local police chief, there is no case to answer is beyond me. To close the matter i offer this advice to the appropriate people. With age, comes wisdom so in 50 years time there may be hope for the young antagonist who regularly frequents this board.

I have to say it makes my day posting things to wind you up because it is so easy and it shows you up for what you really are but I won't say it because you already know.

Any sane person who can think that a post complaining about the banning of the phrase master bedroom is a racist remark that makes them inherantly racist well...just isn't sane at all as far as I can see.

Baz, you can feel free to delete this; I have no objection. As you know, I have the word "moderator" in brackets next to my moniker but I have not moderated for a very long time - despite Odavid's accusations to the contrary.

I'm afraid if you have a different view point to Mr Perfect you are in for a tyrade of abuse yet somehow he manages to make himself look like the victim to his disciples.

I will continue to post things of interest to me an id people choose to comment or not, it is water off a very large duck's back. So im afraid you are the hypocrite. The remark about master bedrooms was because it was in the press for the reason that the people it actually offends are not happy about it. So for someone, who it is a mild inconvenience to, to get so irate, and feel the need to moan about it on a football site is just sad and shows a lack of empathy and understand to those who have been discriminated against. thats racism. Also, I accuse you of your lack of moderation, I'm not convinced you have ever moderated - you just like the title - why is that b still bussing around?Being banned forever, goes against the freedom of speech post in which you are so vocal about above. Hypocritical once again.

MST, we, or mostly you, have been keeping this site clean for about five years now, like you I am getting a little sick of these petty rows. I did an agreement with David to knock out insult words (only) and have done my best to keep to that. I have kept my views to myself. I feel that for many years the Uni's have been brainwashing the students to left wing views which I think is the devils doing. However everyone has a right to say things without insult words being thrown at them which make people afraid to say anything, thus I an trying to keep to my word to delete insult words. If you gave up on this site I might do so as well. Is the old site still going, I will not give the name, maybe we could chat there if it is still going.

Looks like we should make the playoffs OK but the Notts F game was tight, won by an Arter error but worth seeing. About time he made a positive contribution. Clearly not quality but he reminds me of an undersized Norman Hunter. Team fought hard for victory so well done lads. But lots of mistakes from both sides. Playoffs, I'm keeping my pocket money this time but hope I'm wrong. Can't see us beating Brentford or Forest again. Noticed that we played the ball forward a lot more than usual. Surely not Parker's style now? Keep it going, lads.
Replies
Have to agree about the play-offs but althoug he's scored two or three long range efforts this season, I still think Arta is a liability and a red card waiting to happen. knowing our luck, it will be a crucial one in the play-offs that puts pay to any last chance we had of promotion.

Think its best we stay behind brentford till the end then we dont play them till final assuming we get to the final, hate to go out on the two leg games.

There has been discussion of only having one leg in the first round. Maybe both rounds at Wembley?

Who would each team get to ensue the players only have one leg. Would it be tied in some way or would it be amputated.

I know but it is demonstration that anything is possible as in fairy tales but with the hope it finishes with happy ever after for Fulham. We do not deserve it which would make it an even more happy event.

Why does anyone deserve it more than us . If we go up we will deserve it same as anyone else. Some do like to run there own side down even when they win. Must be fans that have never played the game and had lucky life’s were everything comes easy football not like that

What actually happened is that Parker screamed at The Artery to pass the ball back down the pitch to Rodak but he got confused as to which goal mouth was what and sent the ball to the wrong goal. He has since apologised but it seems SP refuses to talk to him.

Well taken goal i thought agree ball touched his hand. As did the forest defender when he actually controlled the ball in the box with the ref 10 feet away amazing decision. I was 100 miles away and saw it Plainly !!! anyway the better team won Not wishing to go back But feel if we had taken advatage of our first half chances little bees and Leeds think the results would have been different by the way so nice to get one back on that forest side after the way they played at cottage

If it happens I wonder if we ever had an ex Fulham player playing for Barcelona?
Replies
Can't see it happening, but if so, it will be good for Sess. He will learn loads with Barca, but can you see Mourinho sanctioning this move? Sessegnon is rotting in reserves under Jose, yet i can't see jose giving this move his blessing. Barcelona is a bitter pill to swallow concerning Jose...

Sess not good enough for Barca can’t get into spurs team sadly not a left back left midfield average at best One saving grace seems to pop up for the odd goal or two personally think we have the better one now !

Tony for heavens sake sign this player. Since his return to the side he's been immense and worth spending the cash on. I never understood why the need to sign Cavaleiro and Reid in January window and Harrison wasn't, but that's Tony for you.
Replies
Yes I love to sign him but we don’t know what the deals were when we loaned them . Maybe even he does not want to come unless we go up. But ha even if we don’t know the ins and outs of it let’s have a go at the Khans

He was borrowed with an option to buy so if we can afford it buy him. Him and Onomah in midfield is awesome.

Lets not do what we did when we signed Seri for big money, but wouldn't go a bit extra for Targett. Both Harrison and Josh are known for what they can do. If they are both available and want to come , we should sign them. We don't need any more posers who will only play in the Premier league

Thought we had options to purchase all our loanees with the prices already agreed. Onamah, I thought, was a permenant signing as a make weight when Sess went the other way.

Maybe I dreamed it ;0)

He's stark raving bonkers, and his timing is 'er, not the best at times, but our Harry is doing alright. He puts himself about and i cringe sometimes at his mistimed tackles. What Harry does in a crisis will get us by because he blocks off and puts himself about on the pitch and rightly so, MOTM. We can speculate forever about Fulham winning without Mitrovic, but Mitrovic we do need desperately! We can all see that Bobby Reid is far too light-weight as a forward, and we can say that Kabano and Knockheart, and Cavaleiro, cannot play that center forward role like Mitrovic. Cairney wasn't missed sadly to say, but he can and he will play his part in this closing season. I would like to see Tom Cairney link up with Josh Onomah and Josh is looking better coming back from injury. Josh could be the player that Scott Parker threw at us, and we can finally embrace him into the Fulham archive. This guy will improve even more yet i think. I like Knockhearts work off the ball which sometimes goes unnoticed because Knockheart does what Knockheart does, and that is to run down blind alleys. If only he could rediscover what he was meant to do, and and that is to contribute to the goal tally. If only Scott Parker can utilize Cavalewiro, Knockheart, and any combination of Kabano and Kamara on the pitch at the same time as Mitrovic. Can he tweak this Fulham squad of underachievers? I really believe the tabloids when they say that we are a talented bunch, we just need to believe it. I know the Scott Parker believers will be coming back on here in droves, but surely they can see why a lot of fans are left frustrated with his tactical naiveness this season. Fair play to Scotty in this game away against a Forest team who didn't get much from this game. Sometimes games don't go in your favour and Fulham have had their fair share of games that run away from you. Is it Friday yet??? Cardiff up next, and Monster-Monster Mitrovic is back!!!!!!!!
