Just reading an article regarding crowds in stadiums , seem for first time in years crowds are down , more so at bottom of table teams pointing out ffc and sunderland cant sell out a game, wolves game had many empty seats also sunderland with 48,000 seat only getting 40,000 for home games again many empty seats and once again its cost .,west ham making good crowds,so when is some one going to address the matter ?,its only 3000 down on the full amount at ffc but it adds up at end of season . The cost are now starting to bite some clubs us being one of them .

WE have sold out most of games. Wolves are rightly bottom of the table and certain people gave it a rest. We have a lot of wealthy tourist "supporter" who mainly are attracted by the opposition who are were not attracted by Wolves in any way.

TTIN you could not be more wrong. We are rarely selling out the Riverside at £100+ per ticket and even in the Hammy and Putney ends there has been a struggle to sell tickets. Against Wolves the club were panicking by advertising tickets on social media and in the end gave over 800 tickets away for free to, what one can only assume, were day trippers and not true FFC fans. The real fans and future fans are being priced out of the game at Fulham due this recent ticketing regime. £60 for a ticket in the Hammy end with the lack of facilities is crazy money against any team - let alone Wolves. Surely it’s better to have a full stadium of true fans getting behind the team as the 12th man helping us to finish further up the league where the financial rewards are far higher than the additional revenue raised from inflated ticket prices. Also what happened to “kids for a quid” for games like Wolves? Rant over!!!

Sorry, rant not quite over as I was just thinking about A rated games as well. One of the only reasons that they get sold out, as people who go to games regularly will know, is the infiltration of away fans in home areas. Whenever the big boys come to town there are always away fans sat around me in the JH so I’m sure it’s the same in other parts of the ground. My final thought is how can it also be right for away tickets (in general) to be cheaper than home support. I know why it’s done but it doesn’t stack up for me when it’s £60 against Wolves in the Hammy end but £40 for an away ticket in the away part of the Putney end. Apologies for the Owenesque posts but ticket prices and the club forcing out future fans is something I feel passionate about and TTIN’s usual support of everything the team and club does is way off kilter this time and Bish’s post is right on song. Rant truly over now ;0)

I believe Bradford charge as little as possible to make sure they have a full house at every game. They are top of the table! The economics of a full stadium is not often recognised by the club accountants.

Don’t like it, go somewhere else. Your life choices are yours. If you’ve not been a success in life and are therefore skint it’s no one’s fault but your own. Apply to the Fulham Foundation and join the queue of asylum seekers getting tickets for free, I’m sure they’ll be sympathetic. Or….Go to a non league team, pay your tenner and lump it.

You’ve completely missed the point paddy. I am a season ticket holder for 30+ years so I do pay it. The point is, that exorbitant pricing regimes are killing the game for the average JB in the street and with televised football and VPNs allowing us to watch 3pm games from foreign broadcasts stadiums attendances will continue to decline. It’s a short sighted policy much like the forthcoming budget when taxes will rise, unemployment will rise, output will decline and before we know it Mr Recession will come knocking.

The prices in London for most things is double anywhere else so if you choose to support a London team you must expect to pay a great deal.

Not true TTIN but don’t let your continued defence off FFC get in the way. Suggest you check out ticket prices elsewhere before commenting.

I’ve not missed the point at all. I was answering from the viewpoint of a football club owner. As long as us idiots continue to pay they’ll charge whatever they think they can get away with. Bit like Liebour and taxes, they will squeeze till you’re desiccated then think of another way to make you pay.

I have been following Fulham, since the 1940's, and although I played football myself for many years, I still managed odd matches, both home and away. However when my playing days were over, I was able to purchase a season ticket in the Riverside stand. Unfortunately when I retired, and there was not enough money, coming in, and with the prices going up, and out of my reach, I had to call it a day, as it wasn't just the cost of my ST that was prohibiting, but as I live many miles away in deepest Sussex, travelling expenses were also high, and on a pension, quite unaffordable, hence my Fulham supporting days, are now in my armchair, but they will still be my club for evermore.

A price is based on the law of supply and demand and Fulham fill the ground for most game so price is not to much for the people who buy the tickets. If you cannot afford the price you won't go. If you are poor you should not drink either.
