This wonderful club is hampered by having a “Director of Football” who is part time, detached and has no experience of the game whatsoever. When I look at the setups of Brighton, Bournemouth and, I hate to say it, Brentford I despair. They all have excellent, well worked out transfer strategies that produce superb players who often get sold for a handsome profit but are replaced with equal or better. We, on the other hand, are scrambling around for last minute bargains, with no strategy behind them. What is required is a full time, experienced Director of Football, working with Marco, who knows the game inside out and will be responsible for all transfer acidity and progression from academy to first team.

The Liberals, are led my by a complete clown in Ed Davey, and as for the Greens, well I can't even think of their leaders name, but he looks and sounds pretty pathetic, so a vote for them would also be a waste of time. So MST, although I am not a great fan of Nigel Farage myself, he is England for the English, or if I'm pressed Britain for the British, so my vote like millions of others, who have placed them so far ahead in the poles, must go for Reform and to be quite honest, everybody that I know in my circle of friends will most definitely be voting REFORM, the pity is, we have to wait so long to cast our votes, to see if they can keep up their promises.

They keep banging the climate change drum so we end up getting ripped off to heat our homes and told to drive electric cars which are useless, we've stopped extracting gas from the north sea because they say its bad for the environment but import it from other countries who charge us through the nose so they can give their own citizens cheaper gas and then they tells us that we're to reliant on other countries for our energy so we need to cover the countryside with solar panels that china supply to us even though in the winter we don't have any sun also they're putting farmers out of business who then have to sell the land to foreign companies for them to put these chinese solar panels on then charge us three times as much as we're paying already for the gas we're getting from other countries, then there's the windmills which of course are made in china again then brought here on a boat, the life span of these blades is around 15 years depending on where abouts they've been sited after which they're buried in the ground because they can't be recycled and they also use about 700 gallons of oil to lubricate the gearbox, oh yeah and some of these larger wind turbines have a diesel engine to get them started and for heating the blades when ice builds up on them, they'll end up covering the farmers fields with solar panels and windmills so then we'll be being even more reliant on other countries for our food because we can't eat solar panels can we. I'll not step foot in a polling station ever again because voting changes nothing.

Every Englishman and flag flying Englishman have and know of asians they may have gone to school with or work with and a lot of the English protesting from Epping Forest say they know many asian people around them but the media and people who have an agenda will jump on the racist bandwagon just to get more of their friends and family into this country. No western countries will ever turn qualified people such as Doctors down or refuse them entry. Austraila will never turn anyone qualified with papers from ASIA or anywhere down and thats why Austraila build up their economy and they never go into recession and there is a lot we can learn from them. There is nothing wrong with a country that looks at their recourses and lack of it, housing problems, and reevaluates and make hard decisions about migration and numbers. A very simple example about equasion goes like this: Ii i say i have room for two guest at my house and 100 knock on my door, there is a problem, i have no room for the remaining 98 and thats one basic problem nobody chooses to understand or care about. Councils are over-run etc, homeless are sleeping in places like Tottenham now and the only thing that selfish people can shout about is' find homes and sort everyone out which we cannot do anymore. The Christian leaders jump on the bandwagon and say that Jesus would never be racist or refuse anybody which is true up to a point. Think about this? Would Jesus welcome everyone into his flock to practice your other faiths? No' he did not come here to tell you to practice your other faiths and religions except Christianity . The Archbishop of Canterbury is so wrong and this is why this country is in such a state and a mess now. King Charles and the Archbishop went against Christian values when they changed the wording from the bible to all faiths which isn't Christian and this is one reason of many why England has fallen and broken. His mother Queen Elizabeth would not have changed anything from the bible. These people have their own versions of what Christianity is all about and thats the problem. I could go on about pubs and churches being changed into mosque but it is a waste of time, the woke and people in power ect have brought England down and thats the bottom line.

The country changed when Henry V111 was refused a divorce by Pope Clement V11 so Henry set up the Church of England. This was followed by hundreds of years of religious persecution with monasteries being ransacked and burnt to the ground whilst the principal Catholic Churches were turned into Church of England bastions, such as Canterbury cathedral, Westminster Abbey and many other well known churches taken over during the Reformation. Owen is quite right in his comments on the dilution of Christian values perpetuated by King Charles statement of being Sovereign for all faiths and of course the woke brigade. The introduction of women priests culminating in the appointment of a woman as Archbishop of Canterbury. Perhaps Charles is not acquainted with the actual Bible and scriptures and I am grateful for the assistance of Owen for mentioning the salient points. I believe a company in Hull makes some of the propellers. We don’t actually make a lot here now,, we just put stuff together. Even the much lauded ‘British’ Brompton bike uses imported ready made frames and parts which are assembled by Eastern Europeans and Indians in Greenford. Only the titanium parts and frames are made in Sheffield, for now. Sad times indeed.

6 months is a long time in Football. Look at Forest. Went from finishing 6th and European qualification to bottom 3 and changed of managers twice. Man City - went from a team in decline back to a team in unbeatable form. Liverpool from went winning 7 games in a row to lose as many on the bounce. So the fact Fulham went from summer of hope and optimism to now probably end up in a regulation fight and Marco at risk of being sacked! We have to manage out next 6months very carefully, otherwise, we could be back where we started in the Championship!! Marco's demeanor (still annoyed that he didn't get the players he had wanted) is not very pleasing to watch, and creates this negativity across the team, squad and club! So I agree - we need to sort it out ASAP. Either sack Marco or make him happy and positive again!

This is one reason why the Jan window is difficult so a hundred million pound package given to Marco by Khan in January is still not a guarantee for success. A large transfer budget given in January might be the maximum from the Khans. Marco might get a large sum of money in January but not so in the summer when there are better and more opportunities around. The stakes are high in this poker game. Will Marco get the funds and another question, will Marco Silva sign his contract?

If i were to gamble on playing Diop as a number 9 or Jonah centre forawrd, i would opt for Jonah 100% because he comes as a natural centre-forward from Bayern Munich. Our situation is perilous and if we lose to Sunderland, Tottenham away then Man City plus Palace is a difficult run of fixtures and at the moment we look shaky in midfield and defence. I am sorry to say this, Marco and demands might not go down well with owners and i wouldn't argue with the owners in this situation. Managers have different opinions on starting young players and i don't entirely agree with Marco that Jonah isn't ready. The young lad scored a cracker against Spurs at this level before apparently so i think there is a good chance that he will do okay. Even if he doesn't score, he will be a vital focal point and others will benefit form him being out there. I like Marco and if staying he should sign his contract simples and thats my opinion. I am not liking it when your demands to an employer is a my way or the highway. We already know the outcome of that one. There can only be one boss remember that.

We are not usually this down in the doldrums but a few wins starting with Sunderland will be nice going up to Xmas. We can do it i know we and while we don't have that elusive prolific centre-forward and ace midfielder in our team, we still have some talent and we hope that Marco can shuffle and find that winning formula and combination of players to help us win and keep us away from relegation.

This will surprise you, as when Ronnie Rooke took over as Manager at Crystal Palace, and I played in a cup final at Selhurst Park for my then junior club, he wanted to sign me for Palace, but my dad put his foot down, and wouldn't allow it, as I was only in my early teens then. I wonder if I would ever had made it, at that level, but I did end up at Sutton United for a few seasons, so who knows.

Of course, we purchased Ronnie from Crystal Palace in 1936 for the princely sum of £300 and he returned to them after his spell with Arsenal. To the best of my knowledge he never missed a penalty and in those days the pitches left a lot to be desired and the equipment would make youngsters of today laugh if they could see the equipment used by footballers of the 30’s and 40’s. Of course, penalty takers had to make a continuous run, non of this stop, start run up of today. Rooke had a very powerful shot and his penalties were invariably to the top corner. He still holds the record for scoring the most goals in a season with 33 goals in the 1947/8 season with a goal every 75 minutes. Evidently, he scored 934 goals in all competitions putting him fourth in the list of goal scorers in England. A great servant for our club.

The signing of the contract is a big one for me and this has dragged on for a while now which doesn't help in us knowing if Marco is still up for the job. Personally if Marco can come back fighting after the break and get us playing and winning again, that will be another level and his genius persona will go up even higher, especially if he can sort out and get us playing and dominating the midfield again. We have enough flair and defensive players around the Cottage to sort it if we all pull together and thats what it will take to get us out of this mess. January is a long while away and we either sink even deeper towards relegation or we fight our way out with the talent we are stuck with.

If I were Silva I’d say “it’s simple Mr Khan, you did not support me in the summer transfer window which has massively contributed to our league position. Desist this ridiculous last minute purchasing and support me to x degree in January and I’ll sign. If not I’ll walk at the end of the season”. In my opinion, if the Khans do not agree to this it would create massive instability within the club so, to some degree, their hands will be tied. Marco still has an awful lot of credit in the bank and as previously indicated, most sensible fans hope he stays however, take three points from the next six games and that will likely change considerably.

As a fan since the 1940's I have obviously seen many up and downs with this club, and many changes in our Managers, so here we go again with yet another period of turmoil at the top. With my years on this planet quickly diminishing, I am really feeling downhearted, as we are drifting slowly into a relegation battle, which wasn't something that I wasn't expecting this season, in fact quite then opposite. The main trouble is it seems, we have Marco, who is a very experienced coach/manager, who is trying to do his best for our club, and putting us min a chase for Europe position, and then we have the last minute Khan's we just wanted a Premier League team, who just haven't a clue how to run it, and whoever we get in if Marco does leave will have the same trouble. We don't need a new manager, we do want new owners, who understand football and the Premier League, and daddy and baby Khan just don't.

But Marco is too easy to make that an excuse and very early on hedge his risk by criticising the owners in public. Now the team is not doing too well, he’s got an excuse and a get out of the jail card. Marco needs to take some responsibility for our performance. He failed to get anything out of Smith-Rowe. More often than not he’s starting his weaker team and bring on the big players in 75th minute. He’s not got the best out of our two new wingers yet, who in my view are quality players. We have no idea what’s happening with Robinson. There are reasons why managers don’t stay more than a few years and often that’s because other teams have worked out how to play against their system and unless you have alternatives (not sure Marco has),,you will start losing games. Anyway, whether Marco leaves or not, we need a reset and we need to find ways to score more goals!

People forget the last 4 years of really good football record points tally and decent runs in the cup not sure what anyone else would expect. But it’s a two way sword, maybe if Silva signed a contract in summer he would of had better chance of better transfers in that market, it was always gonna be a problem with contract ending in summer, even more so in January. There is no point spending big in January if contract is not signed , so hopefully he signs but it’s his right to see out his contract and leave. Sadly that doesn’t help Fulham and we must move forward, so without him signing we must thank him for great job his done and get a new manager before the next transfer window

Xavi is simply the best there ever was in that era with Gerrard and Rooney. You wouldn't want Rooney at Fulham and his temperament and persona is not Fulham and Gerrard would not be a good fit either, in my opinion. Barcelona and Xavi's era were simply the best there ever was in football and they dominated football longer than Man Utd Liverpool or anyone. We would never get a Mourinho and arguably you wouldn't want Mourinho who i think is past his sell by date. With Xavi you would be taking a chance and yes maybe buying into that Barcelona vision and dream, etc. Football isn't always about the big bucks it is about being humble sometimes and i am a little bit mystified why Marco hasn't signed his contract. Will the promise of one hundred million get us out the doldrums i don't know? 4-5 years is a long time now in management and i just wonder if Marco has taken us as far as he could i don't know? Our football is so much more better when we dominate possession which we fail to do so now with a Tom Cairney who cannot do 90 minutes anymore and arguably Berg and Lukic are not creative enough. Pereira was frustrating with his corners etc but again i have a doubt that we ever got the best from him. Josh King is a very good young talent with nice dribbling skills but we need more quick movements and goals. Smith Rowe who not many rate has shown that he can cut through and score goals but again i think Marco hasn't sussed him and the same with Muniz.

I think if Marco would change his tactic this might mitigate the problem as he is flexible he should be willing to change as we have been found out my many of the teams we play have learnt how to beat us. Marco is a very good manager and we should keep him if we can get better quickly. My advice, one defensive midfielder only, Play with a fake forward rather the two strikers we have who do not cut it. Play three at the back with attacking full backs. We have players who could fill all the position well in my view. We very much miss Robinson as he is the best defender and attacker we have. We also need to get the ball forward quickly rather than passing it slowly sideways. If a player in or near the penalty is not crowded out get the ball to him whatever the distance as it has only got to work once to produce a chance. Practise putting the ball in the from every angle and into the net. Perhaps practise that every other week for the whole week until the players expect to score not expect to miss. Have at least one talented player who does not follows the managers and just does what he thinks is best.

I would have put Eddie Howe at 3-1 because the Newcastle squad isn't strong enough to continue a Euro campaign and the league at the same time. They are doing okay in Europe, i should say but their league form is not good enough for a team competing at that level. It happens to all teams except the very top teams and we know Newcastle is not and never will be a top team. The latter stages of the Euro will sap them out. This is what happens when you have delusional owners who think they can throw money around and win Champions league trophies and we can put the Forest Chairman in that category. Khan has a few bucks in his wallet but we all know his wallet will have more cobwebs than money falling out of it.

Especially it’s clear this season could be a write off and the only objective left is to avoid relegation. Appointing a new manager now will give him a chance to look at the team and decide on the players needed next summer, which will give him the best start in the 26/27 season. The only risk to balance is relegation. Is Marco the best manager to keep us in the prem this season. Personally, Marco seems to have lost a bit of motivation and at the back of his mind, he’s still Pissed he didn’t get any players and some not what he had wanted until the last day of the season. If he’s lost the mojo - maybe isn’t a bad idea to make the change now if Marco is not going to renew.

Louis Saha, was interviewed, and he said that Marco and Fulham should NOT part ways. Talksport also had a representative from the Fulham supporters club, I think his name was Sam, and he said that daddy Khan, was flying over this week, to talk about extending Marco's contract. I have no reason to think that this is untrue, so this could be a very important week in our season. Frankly, I am hoping that this meeting comes to a conclussion, that we will all be happy with, however if Marco decides not to extend his contract, then very reluctantly I'm afraid, he needs to go now, to give a new manager a chance in the January window. Yes, this in my opinion, is a very big week, for us supporters. Marco, please sign.

Only the top teams can afford strikers who score regularly. The only other way is to find a real talent on a obscure foreign field. It is very difficult as strikers who score masses of goals in the Championship mainly only score a few in the Premier League because the defences are so much better. Brazil are not an international force anymore so why do so many players from there play in the PL.

Craven, I'm sorry to say, that I am beginning to feel the same way as you, and the way we are playing, is more than a bit concerning. However, never say die, and other clubs around us, are suddenly improving, but they are mostly against other teams around them, so it is not as good as it might seem in these wins, for example West Ham beating Burnley, and Forest beating Leeds, so what we just have to do is to pick up points when we are playing these lower teams, which is something we are very capable of doing, especially at CC, where we will have the home crowds behind the team. Sunderlands squad is nothing like as good as us but is much more effective. We must play much more effectively. Give our strikers a good chance and they will probably score, but we are not creating much in the way of good chances. I do not believe our defence is a big Problem as two out of four of them are very fast and all four of them are very skillful and one of them is one of the best and most prolific passers in the division. The problem is our midfield, playing two defensive midfielders seem unnecessary and the rest around them develop slowly. Fast breaks and more long ball would makes us better. Marco has a set way of playing, but if that does not produce the desired effect he needs to change it. Teams quickly understand the way we play and no how to counter it.

When the chips are down, we need to get behind the club rather than follow the self-fulfilling prophecies of the doom and gloom merchants. Yes, results have not been our friends but we are still only a point (or two) behind where I would have predicted results to fall and although Sunderland is a massive game for us, it’s not quite “must win” just yet I feel. Apart from last Saturday, we have been well in games and played well with several key players missing. Those players are now (thankfully) returning but they will take a game or two to get up to speed and become match fit. I’m still hopeful (nay confident) that we will play ourselves out of this pickle but we need our 12th man behind the team.

As a fan I will always support the team as I’ve done for a long time, but I’m not going to get behind a bunch of players who serve up dross every week. When and if they decide to put in an effort and start playing as a team I will refrain from being critical, until that day I will comment as I see it. Calling a spade a spade is more constructive than passive acceptance, to my mind. Eventually something will improve its the law of averages but let’s hope they don’t leave it too late and that the manager can magic up some kind of system to play to. Currently not holding my breath.

On paper current squad is good enough to stay up, if this is a viable statrment. As I have previously mentioned we are not aware of what targets we earmarked and if they were affordable both transfer fee and wages and whether they wanted to come to Fulham. The current situation with Silva may not help with transfers as we don’t know if he will,stay or go, I think the latter is more probabal. This then points to why spend money on “Marco players” if a new manager is incoming. Unfortunately both our strikers are not going to be 20 odd goal,a year players, and this Ned’s to be adjusted with shots coming in from midfielders and defenders at set pieces, something we don’t get 5o often as rarely see shooting from outside box. This is coupled with our continued pissing about at 5the back and slow build up. I think we need to attack quicke4 and take sides by surprise as we are too easy to defend against.

Are you saying that Marco didn't sanction or approve these moves? If so there is a lot i don't know about and maybe some are correct in saying that Tony Khan is having more say in recruitment than he should be doing. It is concerning that we still have problems in our midfield areas and the likes of Tom Cairney cannot or is not able to control the mid area for 90 minutes and i am not blaming him for our troubles. Berg and Lukic are okay up to a point but they don't have that extra ummph like a Palinha who could come up with something special in crucial moments and we know Palinha scored some good goals. I have gotten a little frustrated with Marco Silva lately because i rate Smith Rowe and i am still not convinced that Marco has or can get the best from him. Maybe i am wrong and Smith Rowe is not the player right for Fulham and i will be the first to put my hands up and say i was wrong. Is our coaching set-up right? I am not too sure about that and yes, i agree not a full crisis yet and we have players still not fully fit and up to speed from injury. Marco Silva is a talented young manager and he may have ambitions to step up and manage clubs bigger than Fulham and there is still time to turn it around. Sunderland in a few weeks is a good test i will say and they are a club in the shadows of a Newcastle that wants to go on to bigger things. Eddie Howe is at a crossroads and they will be asking questions too if they lose to a Sunderland who have just gained promotion. You don't get gold stars for trying lastly, so players picked and getting more minutes need to bring their A game. If problems persist up front i wonder if it is worth giving our young tall German another chance after that missed penalty?

As another post correctly stated the last half a dozen matches of last season showed the direction we were heading Marco knew he needed as a minimum a strong mid fielder and a centre forward he got neither .

Berg and Lukic are in there defensive and static and they have their uses on a good day. We have enough forward thinking and creative players like Josh King in the mix with Iwobi ect. I like the way how Smith Rowe got in there and took his goal in the cup match but he doesn't do it often enough which is worrying. Confidence might be low at this time but Silva needs to find something and rally our guys to step up to this fight and a fight it is. Sunderland are confident and they will be up for this one. Brobbey their super-sub looks a confident guy and he will try things. Muniz can do the same but we must be in the mix and create just like they will do. Any nervous disposition shown we be exploited and thats where we are. Marco Silva will need to rally our troops for this one.

On paper, we are as good as any of the clubs in the lower half of the table, but what has been so obvious for such a long time, in fact since Mitro left, is that we just can't score enough goals to win games, with OG, our top scorer, which is quite laughable. We need someone to put the ball in the net in January, but who would want to join a club fighting relegation battle. That's right, nobody.

Hi Morty, hope you are well. I watched the match and we seem to be poor at the back, poor up front and poor in midfield. Silva must know that corners and free kicks against us are dreadful in our defence. Leno appears to take a long time clearing the ball and gives it to Bassey, who is not the best passer and the ball is given away. This must be looked at and worked on. Our midfield gave the ball away very easily and our strikers were not doing enough. Silva seems to be miserable at the beginning of every game, if so pick players like King who should have started. Something not right at this club.

This is a new place where they have a good record and i never felt confident that we would even scrape a draw. Marco Silva needs to start taking his press alert news seriously because we need back-to-back wins because we are starting to look like we could well be in trouble. Muniz looks a work in progress and he looks like he could score goals if fully fit and i mean looks like rather than scoring certain goals and thats our problem so far this year. Nearly is not good enough, dribbles and hitting posts and bars is not enough anymore, we have to hit jackpot and you will only see jackpot in a game of darts guaranteed 180!, not so at Fulham. Even the likes of Josh King needs to deliver, the boy needs to grow up fast because this is the real game football and you get nowt for trying hard dribble-dribble and no end product and thats the bottom line sorry to say. The honey moon is over, time to grow up fast, this is the life, this is football and fans don't do nearly in the football world for too long. You hit the nail on the head i think and with no Boa Morte it is starting to look dire. Marco Silva and good potencial manager reputation could well turn to tatters with just a few more bad results. I think the game against Sunderland the team that just gained promotion is the crunch one and if we lose that one i think the Marco fairy tale could be over and out with that terrible Labour lot sadly to say...

I was merely restating my view that I think the team is currently rudderless. Nobody appears to know their role within the team, if indeed you can call it that. I don’t think we have a team, just 11 players on the pitch at the same time. One thing I I have to take you to task about though. Josh King is a very young, inexperienced player of great potential, but there are many many others who should be stepping up to the plate. We should not load any blame on him for our crap performances, that’s on the manager and the ‘seasoned’ professionals in the squad.We can only pass on our opinions, it’s for the players and manager to do something constructive.

I am quite none of the premier league clubs can cover their player wages with the ticket income alone. That’s crazy! I really look forward to some sort of salary cap introduced. But this will never happen. But what the FA can do is similar to what they have done with away ticket price cap. They can insist on clubs making, say 80%, of the stadium capacity price capped at certain level, like £80.

A draw will be good away to an inform Everton and i would take that before if possible. Moyes is no mug and he is capable of changing the game in his favour even if a goal or two down. Make no mistake this is a difficult away fixture and we shouldn't e going up there expecting 3 points in the bag. Our squad isn't the biggest but we have good strength in depth and i am so glad to see the likes of Muniz back and Tete. Muniz isn't prolific but he gives us that important focal point we are missing and his presence will help Marco pick a more balanced squad around him. I love our small but compact squad with the quality of Josh King continually improving and i still think the likes of Smith Rowe is a nice luxury squad player who most teams around us would like and sooner or later he will find his feet and eventually settle. I am still not convinced that Gonçalo Santos appointed assistant is a good replacement for Boa Morte who's expertise we miss and thats my opinion but such is life and we have to make the best of it now. Our squad is very decent and especially now with our injured key players coming back. Our problems will linger on when the African nations come around because we don't seem to have the know how to find winning ways with key players out. Our bench is more than useful and pundits are in awe but we have to find better ways of using it. Trust me' David Moyes can tweak it so don't expect us to turn up and steal away 3 points we have to earn it.

We are rarely selling out the Riverside at £100+ per ticket and even in the Hammy and Putney ends there has been a struggle to sell tickets. Against Wolves the club were panicking by advertising tickets on social media and in the end gave over 800 tickets away for free to, what one can only assume, were day trippers and not true FFC fans. The real fans and future fans are being priced out of the game at Fulham due this recent ticketing regime. £60 for a ticket in the Hammy end with the lack of facilities is crazy money against any team - let alone Wolves. Surely it’s better to have a full stadium of true fans getting behind the team as the 12th man helping us to finish further up the league where the financial rewards are far higher than the additional revenue raised from inflated ticket prices. Also what happened to “kids for a quid” for games like Wolves? Rant over!!!

One of the only reasons that they get sold out, as people who go to games regularly will know, is the infiltration of away fans in home areas. Whenever the big boys come to town there are always away fans sat around me in the JH so I’m sure it’s the same in other parts of the ground. My final thought is how can it also be right for away tickets (in general) to be cheaper than home support. I know why it’s done but it doesn’t stack up for me when it’s £60 against Wolves in the Hammy end but £40 for an away ticket in the away part of the Putney end. Apologies for the Owenesque posts but ticket prices and the club forcing out future fans is something I feel passionate about and TTIN’s usual support of everything the team and club does is way off kilter this time and Bish’s post is right on song. Rant truly over now ;0)

The point is, that exorbitant pricing regimes are killing the game for the average JB in the street and with televised football and VPNs allowing us to watch 3pm games from foreign broadcasts stadiums attendances will continue to decline. It’s a short sighted policy much like the forthcoming budget when taxes will rise, unemployment will rise, output will decline and before we know it Mr Recession will come knocking.

However when my playing days were over, I was able to purchase a season ticket in the Riverside stand. Unfortunately when I retired, and there was not enough money, coming in, and with the prices going up, and out of my reach, I had to call it a day, as it wasn't just the cost of my ST that was prohibiting, but as I live many miles away in deepest Sussex, travelling expenses were also high, and on a pension, quite unaffordable, hence my Fulham supporting days, are now in my armchair, but they will still be my club for evermore.

For my part I cannot see that price doesn’t have a big impact, mainly on the older long time supporter who find escalating prices on a fixed income onerous. Some people are happy to watch any team, assuming they play relatively attractive football, and enjoy the chance to watch their own team when offered by the lords of the FA and Sky. Money was always going to destroy the football experience. Everyone who can, are building bigger and ‘better’ entertainment centres, not football stadiums. The Kahns are no different and see their profits in social clubs and events.

Let’s hope we can keep the scouse4s at bay. Pity Liverpool didn’t fancy him before we got in there, getting sick and tired of then arseholes keep unsettling our players. Perhaps he can see and learn from the likes of carvaliho, Elliott and Robert’s that the grass isn’t always greener, forgot Sessignon as well. Obviously he will be sold at massive profit at some stage as probably Fulham will prove a stepping stone to bigger things. Still hopefully Sammy boy will become permanent deal as he does look the business. Much needed win Saturday, and hopefully confidence boosting for players and staff. Inwards and upwards, great to have Anderson back.

Carvelho hardly ever gets a look in at Brentford, and only got 4 minutes against Palace at the end, and Harvey Elliot, who I presume is still with Villa, unless he is injured, is not even a bench man. So you scousers, keep your envious eyes off of any more of our squad. Our next two opponents Sunderland and Everton, are playing each other this evening. No doubt they will be a feature of discussion, at training in the morning. I'm not impressed with either at the moment on Sky.

I doubt very much that we will be in a relegation fight, but nothing is impossible at this stage, but we do need to put away our chances, and stock giving away late goals, as against Bournemouth, and Newcastle. We should as CRAVEN says, finish safely, but I will be more confident if we are 14th at Christmas.

It’s the ‘curse of the cottage’. Basically, if Fulham beat you then no manager in the world can save you so it’s best to get rid.
