I'm not expecting much from this but, from one fan to another, how did you feel about Cuenca's 'head injury' yesterday.
When I see Palace players feigning injury to get opposing players booked or worse, I hate them for cheating and it seems rife within our game.
Am I alone in my hatred of such cheating?

Cuesta has probably only started in half a dozen games (difficult to edge bassey out) in the premier league since he was bought last season and yesterday was probably the only game he fooled around. Up to now his performances and behaviour have been highly considered. Also i am a subjective fan of his, Whilst i agree with your statements I would prefer not just to blame him but seriously accuse UEFA .What he did is standard practice in La Liga. Unsporting and pointless. Similarly the tolerance UK refs with many body contacts in the premier league blatent fouls overseas. We had onother player recently, much more famous, Mitrovic who continuously exagerated fouls. Many players do this and I believe Federations should bet tough and start showing immediate red cards instead of oscars for great acting.

I want us to win but I don’t want this sort of behaviour and it is not something we are known for. I hope our team do not start doing this, I really don’t like it when it is done to us and it gets done to us quite a lot . I am glad your team are doing well and hope we can join you in winning something.

Thanks for the response. I take your comments on board about UEFA but, really, what about managers? Do they expect their players to act like this? I mean give orders that this should be done? If not, why don't clubs take a stance by fining their own players?
Or is that to much, do you think?

This acting hurt was always going to work against us sometime. The trouble is if Marco encouraged it he cannot criticize the players for doing it.

Curenca did get a loose hand slapped on his face. No one can question that. How painful was that only he and the palace player will know. Sometimes on tv, the force isn’t transparent. So the reaction to cover his face is natural. However, I am not about the loud scream, which is a bit of a drama queen. If it wasn’t for the scream, the ref probably wouldn’t stop the match or at least would have waited for a few more seconds. What is a fact is he did get a slap on the face, therefore, you can’t judge him for falling down. Then be disadvantaged, it isn’t fair. This did not happen in a penalty box (and no var) so he should be given the benefit of doubts.

Never understood why the fouled player leaves the pitch but the fouling player stays on.

The main blame for the Palace goal was the unbelievably awful challenge by Antonee Robinson !
I’m a big fan of Robinson but his form is since coming back from injury has been sketchy at best !

What he did is standard practise in prem as well player goes down in box holds his head and rolls around ref blows for game to stop maybey if a player sustains a head injury He should be sidelined for ten minutes on the touchline to fully recover that would stop there shenanigans there guvnor would have there guts for garters

Reform will stop all this play acting. Didn’t have all this nonsense when the only Johnny Foreigner in the game was Sammy Chung.

No, actually, John C mate, Devenny's hand brush Cuenca just below the shoulder. Have a look at the highlights and it shows it clearly. It was definitely not his face and the contact was extremely light. I'm not being biased in my assessment. Look at it again and you'll agree I think.
There's no question at all that Cuenca cheated in order to get Devenny booked or sent off.
Sorry.

He was cheating and cost us the goal even though the marking was poor he left us a centre back short should be fined by the club hopefully won’t cheat again.

It was one incident in one game. You were poor against a weakened Fulham team so I’d suggest Palace have more to worry about than an isolated incident of someone gaming the ref and I also believe Fulham had more players booked during the game and Palace were awarded more fouls. I don’t care about other teams, certainly not enough to go on another sides forum and whinge but weren’t Palace recently kicked out of Europe for cheating? I’d say that trumps anything during a game.

I posted immediately when Cuenca went down for nothing and yes, I do believe his cheating cost us the first goal. The game has become so dishonest now and the authorities don't seem to want to do anything about it. The slow motion replays really show these things up, so why not use them retrospectively and punish the culprits for bringing the game into disrepute? I'd also drop the stupid term "simulation" it's plain and simple "Cheating" and should be called as such. In my younger days players like Stan Bowles, Francis Lee and Rodney Marsh(bless him) were labelled divers, now they're all at it. Come on FIFA, UEFA, FA etc clean the game up.

Well, Paddy.
As I said in my first post, I hate it when Palace or indeed anyone does it and rather than whingeing, I wondered what the Fulham fans felt about this trend in general. Yes, Palace were piss poor against you and I was really relieved we drew after such a toothless performance. I thought you deserved to win, to be honest.
I'm not looking for a war, mate.
Thanks guys for all the input.
I think we agree that this scourge needs to be kicked out of the game.

By the way, NRL, I couldn't agree more with your post regarding what the game has become in this respect.
It seems that those in charge don't give a flying fig about us, the fans.

Speaking of wars, ain’t Trump fantastic? Invading a country is like making love to a beautiful woman, in and out quickly with minimum fuss.
