With Coventry, Ipswich, and now Hull, being promoted to the Premier League, we have probably avoided the drop again next season, as these three clubs, will probably be among the weakest trio promoted for a long time. Add Sunderland, and Leeds to the mix, plus those involved in European competitions, oanother mid table position, should be accomplished, providing of course, we strengthen our squad considerably.

I didn’t take a lot pleasure or confidence from comments LTS.

I am almost agreeing with LTS, and we might well get away with it again. However, until the dust has settled, and we really do know who our manager will be, or which players are staying or leaving, it's all guess work at present. Surely even if Marco stays, he would have learnt a lot from this season, and we will finish much stronger. Unfortunately missing out on a crack at Europe, may stop us signing any decent strikers, but there just must be some hidden gems around the Championship or even lower, or abroad, that can be far better than we have available now.

The way we played since mid January, do you think that’s good enough to guarantee safety, even with the promoted teams. Hull is probably a guaranteed relegation cert, but as per our performance against Southampton, we have not been much better than other good championship teams like Coventry and Ipswich. So on paper, sure no way we should be relegated. But no way we should only acquired something like 5 points out of 21 against the teams we played. Let’s hope Marco gives the fans and probably hkmeself a good sending off with a win today!

LTS, you know Fulham really well so I think maybe you shouldn’t be so sure of anything with our club. I hope you are doing well.

Baz, of course you are so right, and I should know
better, shouldn't I. These are big weeks for our club though, and I do hope, whether it's Marco, or any other manager, we build for the future. A new manager, if that's what it is going to be, needs to be a top class one, with hopefully Premier League experience. Thank you for asking Baz, but all is well with me, at present, after just celebrating my 92nd birthday, with believe it or not a new lady in my life. Life in the old dog yet ! !

Not a Fulham fan Brian, in fact not a sports fan at all, but who cares, as my football love, Fulham finished with a good win, despite throwing away a European spot. Now the worry starts, with his will he, won't he, period coming up. As far as the players are concerned, it's farewell to Muniz, Wilson, and Anderson. I reckon that Crawley Town will suit Muniz down to the ground. Have a happy summer everyone.

Blimey, with LTS and Morty on the cougar safari what chance do I have?
Not a bad season overall. As Bish would say, “onwards and upwards”.
Regards and best wishes to all.

We need a bigger and younger squad and a vey good manager. That all seems very difficult. Is Cairney a possibility as manager he knows this club very well.
