all it need are new seating all the way down in J/H stand and paint the floors, give us some room its a joke my knees were banging into lady in front when you stand for late comers u hang on for dear life in case u go over the top, oh he late comers after half time , make them stan at the back , up and down up and down new stan miles better but still to pricey , god knows what some teams must think looking at the cow shed , come on ffc do some work on it .

I sat there for a season years ago. It’s only suitable for kids or dwarves. I believe the seats are listed along with the stand so very little can be done about them. You’ll have to suffer or move.

Always get the seat at the end of the row... plus you can get straight to the toilet!

The newish uncovered 4 rows at the front of the stand are a little crapped compared the rest, I am sure Fulham realised if people are getting bigger they should make smaller seats. It is the same logic as passing the ball around at that back until we lose it and it ends up in the goal.

Southampton are at home to Arsenal, so it would have been goodbye us in any case. Can we beg Marco to put our strongest teams out for the rest of the sesson, to at least give us a very slight chance of European football next season, and also to prove that this season is not over just yet. Win or draw at Forest on Sunday, and all in the garden will be roses again.

Looking at up coming fixtures, two of which are clubs fighting against being relegated. Barring a miracle Burnley are already going back to the Championship, but Forest are fighting for their lives. To be fair to other clubs at the bottom, we should not duck and dive, with our lines ups, and put out our strongest teams, even if we are beaten. We will probably lose to Forest anyway, as Europe is not on our agenda, and Burnley will make it difficult for us. However when we play away to Arsenal and Liverpool, we will put on a great show, and make them work hard forwins against us, and fans will be saying, why couldn't we have played like tat against both West Ham and Southampton. Well lads and ladies, that's Fulham all over, and so frustrating. I am another one by the way that dislikes this new site, and until the old one returns, this is a goodbye for me.

Fulham in there history have been generous to teams on bad runs by losing to them and setting them up for a good run. Now we lose to team on good runs and lose to them as well. We must get out of this and stopping endless passing sideways and back rather than forward towards the goal.

The only player I would blame is Muniz who was given a number of good chances against Southampton and missed all them by a big margin. A Premier League striker should score 1 goal out of every 2 chances.

This is a difficult one. My personal feeling is Marco will move on. We need to be careful what we wish for. We do not want another David Moyes situation that West Ham had thinking getting a new manager will improve the team. If Marco does leave possible replacements Roberto De Zerbi, Oliver glasner but how ambitious are we,Thomas Frank but not sure about his Brentford links. Please not ange postocolou he will get us relegated next season. All I can say is a big thank you to Marco for keeping us up these past few seasons.
Replies
I think Marco has reach his ceiling. We shouldn’t stick with him because we don’t have the confidence to appoint a suitable replacement.

I came here today to suggest Marco is off at the end of the season, but it seems I'm way behind the 8 ball there. Let's be honest, his purchases have been ordinary starting Muniz then ESR and now Kevin, all poor. It does seem as if he's had enough as the team selection showed tonight. Who knows what next season will bring but I'd suggest you make the most of the rest of this one because the starting team next year will look very different. Mass exodus sums it up.

Never won anything of note, never will 1954-2026 is a long time. This season is starting to look like the last few seasons that we fade away and just ran out of steam and ideas. Before we can blame the age of the squad but that cannot be the excuse anymore. Is it our football that by this stage of the season, teams have sussed us out?? We have to break this hoodoo (mental block!) and go on a decent run between now and ensign the season. Marco must recognise this!

Personally think the subbing of Cairney for Iwobi gave us more impetus. If Cairney can convert one of those shots, we would be quids in. Cairney doesn't run the show enough sometimes and not in this game for me.

Sess had a good shot that was only stopped by hitting their goalie’s face which took a while for him to recover. Sess knows where the goal is but as left back does not get many chances. Maybe he should be positioned nearer the opponent’s goal.

I thought Cairney was our best player to. Even didn’t think Reed had a bad game. Players I fill let us down Andersen, smith Rowe, Bobb, Chukwueze, Muniz , all ment to be flair players that couldn’t lay a glove on Southampton. Can understand one having an off day but all of them. Can understand Silva leaving Robinson out been poor all season since his injury. And never seen Tete play as badly as West Ham game

Southampton should have easily had this game out of site even before the penalty. We hadmore than 15 corners which most was ineffective, and they missed some open goals from less chances and we got caught out too many times on the counter. Bad defending by us and no response or plan B to stop the counter from Marco.

The only thing we have a chance of winning is the FA cup, it was disappointing Marco did not put out our best team. He should have at least put out the team who lost on Wednesday who would have wanted to put behind them. He does not often get thing wrong but yesterday he got everything wrong.

Ah well..another season over..no Europe..no cups..no relegation...where did it all go wrong? Transfers dithering..Marco's subs questionable..players performing great one week and abysmal the next...dodgy var decisions...late goals..injuries at vital times, (Wilson and Kevin would have made a difference today) Remaining matches pride only objective. Theoretical Europe still attainable with a vast improvement and a large dose of luck. Hate to say this but I think it's time to change the man at the helm. Use the remaing time to find a suitable manager with proven experience and time to settle in before next season. At the expense of people choking and uttering a load of expletives I would suggest Thomas Frank..Before people laugh..he did a good job at Brentford and he'll be desperate to prove himself after the fiasco at Spurs.

No thanks, I would prefer Oliver Glasnier. I've probably spelt it wrong ? Frank couldn't handle the Spurs job, and I really don't think he would improve us either, whare as Glasnier, has done wonders at Palace.

Once again, with a great opportunity to progress to the quarter finals of the FA Cup you somehow just knew we’d blow it ! We’ve made a meal out of beating lower league sides this season in the cups. We needed to go full strength today to save our season after also blowing our European possibilities on Wednesday ! I’m not sure how we change this direction of travel it just seems an historical issue. The players must take responsibility today. So many corners,so much possession,so many touches in and around the Southampton penalty area but once again nobody can find that desire to get on the scoresheet ! With European football now so unlikely and out of both cups,I don’t think Marco Silva will find next season interesting enough to carry on at FFC. We’ve had some great moments but ultimately we consistently fall short again and again.
Replies
Big prospect Kevin not interesting enough? Chuckwueze? Bobb? etc etc? It must be getting noticable now more than ever that Marco struggles to get much more out of squads. It will be interesting to see which club takes an interest in Marco and how much money they give him if he signs.

From all of the Fulham players and the coaching team . We looked bored , hardly strung 2 passes together , never really looked like scoring despite having 68% possession . And first sub was made in the 86th minute . This this time we cant blame the ref , we just were not good enough to beat an average Championship side who at least played with passion and pride .

On the way home, I thought, well that was the waste of a few hours. When I heard the team sheet, I thought, here we go again, and so it proved. I am at a loss as to why Marco fielded such a side, and by doing so he, robbed us fans, of even the next round, and a chance however remote, to get to Wembley, even if it was only for a semi-final spot. It's like going to the cinema to watch a film that you have been looking forward too, and then then put on an old one. Like today I would be furious. I think that we should get our money back, for not watching the team that we had come to see. Just to add, I dislike intently this new layout, and I might stop posting if this continues.

Sorry to say but Marco Silva has reach the zenith of his potential with Fulham. Just like Scott Parker who has an enviable record at gaining promotion but an inability to compete in the Premier League, Marco does not possess the skills to push a team to achieve anything more than a mid table status. If you look at his stats for the final third of any season he has managed in the PFL there is a serious drop off and an obviously inability to sustain a team for periods of longer than a few weeks. He has at his disposal some gifted players none of whom seem able to perform within a Marco Silva team , despite showing moments of excellence. It’s the managers job to meld these player into a solid unit but week after week we see gifted players really not understanding what is expected of them. Therefore FFC has to move on with thanks to Marco for all he’s done for Fulham in the time he has been with the club. Unfortunately, we all have limitations, Marco’s has been reached.
Replies
Marco made a big mistake, if he thought we were playing badly enough to going to go extra time, why did he not make the subs before it happened to prevent it occuring. We played disciplined passing football and created some good chances for Muniz to miss horribly. Being honest I do not think Marco underested the opposition in the last two matches, the players did and suffered the consequence. Both teams worked out that if you let us pass the ball around aimlessly we will loose it and they could break away which they both did effectively.

Did we deliberately throw this game away or is it Marco fault for making so many changes. Once again I was impressed by Lecomte who once again was better than Leno and deserves to be our first choice keeper. I have long criticised Andersen who is more suited to rugby than football and is unfit to be captain. Time and time again he fouled players with no attempt to play the ball and he is slow and his positional sene beggars belief. To cap an abysmal match he gives away the penalty in the 91 minute of the game which was completely unnecessary. Southampton played with passion and pride, packing their defence when necessary and breaking quickly and had two wonderful chances in the first half from which they should have scored. For me I believe they deserved to win whilst we need to reevaluate why we are so poor at times that we seldom look like a Premium team. The players have, in general, become lackadaisical, appearing to go through the motions without making a supreme effort to achieve a result. I do not know if Marco has lost the plot or the players just don’t care. Today, our supporters could barely be heard whilst the Southampton fans did not stop singing which was wonderful to hear. I believe that Marco and the players must accept that their efforts are unacceptable to you guys who actually attend matches and pay their inflated salaries. Unless there is a significant change I suspect Marco will leave and we find a manager who is innovative and one who will tell the players that they are letting down the fans and themselves. The occasional win will not placate anyone and I for one consider that our representatives should tell the board something is wrong when the players lack the passion and desire.
Replies
Now starting to see your point about Andersen and i agree, he isn't worthy enough to be team captain.. I can only just recollect in one game in particular where Andersen put over a pin-point cross that lead to a goal but not much else from him. The combination of Bassey and Diop is a better fit and looks better and stronger. Cuenca is half decent at last ditch defending but just like Castagne, he gets caught out from trickier players. Harrison Reed is still on a high from his one in a million wonder-goal and he was chief wasteful from our 15 and more none effective corners, Berge would have been a better selection. We need to replace H Reed, and Tom Cairney who is less effective in games these days. Oscar Bobb looks tricky but poor sometimes when giving away balls where they counter-attack, he needs to learn the consequences about losing the ball in dangerous areas. Too many experienced players rested and we need the likes of Iwobi and Tete would be better than Castagne in my opinion.

MST, not sure about the game plan to have Reed take a million corners with Oscar Bobb learning and watching what? To his credit Bobb swung one in with his left which looked dangerous and he should take more corners. Oscar Bobb will have to learn that if he loses the ball in those areas where they counter, we will lose games to better opposition. Lots to learn for the young lad but sadly not from Harrison Reed at the top level.

How many corners did we have 15-16 and still counting? It did not make a difference because the quality was poor and i think the fewer chances Southampton created were better quality and i was surprised that they didn't score from one of their opportunities even before our penalty was given away by Andersen. Oscar Bobb up and signalling at the corner flag and the poor-man-midfielder Reed putting over dross, ridiculous! Oscar Bobb constantly loses the ball in areas where Southampton counter and they should have scored but for poor finishing. Sessegnon's worst game and he looks cumbersome and off his game. Muniz looks overweight and slow. Cairney was ineffective and pointless out there; the subbing of Iwobi was better but too late. Castagne is more wasteful than useful coming forward and nothing of quality comes from him, disallowed goal coming from him so what and no big deal and i could go on and on. Andersen is shockingly worse for coming back and we might as well promote Diop to central defender now. Sad to say it like this but ours was a p.ss poor performance and Marco's team selection was p.ss poor, which is putting it mildly.

The manager was complacent with his team selection and should have changed things at half time. We played a championship team and the were much smarter than us on every front! Their tactics spot on!

If you do not put out your best side against compeitition from lower league clubs in Cup games you are always likely to get a rude awakenings. Yes Sessegon was bad, but some of our second 11 fielded today were worse. The question is now will Harry Wilson or Marco Silva be at the Cottage next season I suspect not.

Marco has done the job he was entrusted to do which was to keep us in the premier and establish a team capable of staying up. This task he has accomplished but does not have the talent or capacity to take us beyond, hence i think the moment has come to resign now, with dignity as he has had at his disposition a very good squad fro which he has been uncapable of getting the best out.

Marco’s comments on Sky - I wonder what this means? “We are going to have another game, you have to really say that was not good enough from us. We can talk about the command of the game, we can talk about many, many things "It's really for us to look at and to improve but I think it's much more than that, and you have to look deeper." ?????

Reluctantly I’m beginning to think that Marco has taken us as far as he can so it’s time for a change. I know people will say be careful what you wish for but I still think it’s time for a change. I know people will say we were unlucky and the first disallowed goal should have stood but on balance Southampton deserved the win.

Why oh why does Marco keep making constant changes, as we will never have a settled side. What a terrible time for Harry to be injured, as he would have made mincemeat of that dreadful Southampton side. With the clubs left in, we were never going to win the cup anyway, so let's put our strongest sides out in future if we want to climb up the table.

Southampton are the form team of the Championship so please put out the strongest team you can put out. Any weakness they see they will exploit and we will lose. Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Iwobi, Berge; Bobb, Smith Rowe, Chukwueze; Muniz.. Nice lineup and a bit too soon for Wilson. I think a good workout for Robinson to get rid of the collywobbles and Muniz will benefit from his cup game.

Even if he doesn't play Leno i still think it is a strong enough team. Robinson up to speed is dangerous enough and Muniz is considered to be our future main striker and he shouldn't be far away from being back to his best. Chukwueze for me is way ahead of both Kevin and Bobb in my opinion and he showed his prowess and ability to beat his man and keep his composure to score a wonderful goal straight after coming back from Africa, that's class! Our best form defender is Diop at the moment and we have plenty enough in experience with the likes of Iwobi Bassey and Smith Rowe out there, what's not to like? This is a mouth watering fixture of a match and i say just enjoy it, guys. I feel hopeful and i think the likes of City and Arsenal will have their hands full being in Europe. Every team bar Burnley is dangerous and well capable of taking points from the top teams as demonstrated. Be positive!!!!

We have lost to West Ham, yet again at home, and we won't find Forest away an easy game, as they will see us a 3 point fodder, after yesterday.

Harry Mguire I see is wanted by the Police in Greece for alleged violent conduct. He certainly should have been sent off for his tackle on our striker Raul Jeminze. Agree?

Dont worry RICH, assuming we take full points from our next 2 league games and we get near euro positions again, the good news is that all the remaining games are difficult which is far better than playing against the bottom clubs. For some reason the team fails to react against these.

We played terrible but we still created chances where we didn't score and this is our big headache at the moment. The difference between top scorers is the clinical side of the game and we don't have a lot of that in our team. Smith Rowe had a point blank one on one with the goalie which required quick thinking and the clinical aspect. Josh King has talent and his ability to beat the last defender is quite good but again, Josh King is no finisher. The worry is that some players like Josh could be moved on if current stats continue and we see this countless times over the years. Like they say, football is a results business and we need results. Assists i think comes second to scoring goals and if you can't score an assist is the next good thing. Smith Rowe might be slow in the goal stakes but he has proven that he can do it with the goals scored so far but he needs to do more.

Both teams seem incapable of passing the ball accurately. At the beginning of the second half West Ham started to pass well as we did at the end of the half. It looked like a dull draw until Leno's misjudgement.

It was a very poor performance worst of season maybe even worse since Marco been manager . Surprised West Ham were so bad looked a lot better recently, but they didn’t have to play well to beat us , usually I stick up for team but we were very poor. Seems every season we look if we’re gonna push on this time in season and fall away. Maybe a good thing because if we can’t last a full season. We would be in trouble if we made Europe. Bigger teams with bigger squad size have struggled. What worries me if we start a season poorly under Marco could be in trouble because his teams seem to always run out of steam. I like our players and manager, but see do seem to bottle it at end of season. Fingers crossed they prove me wrong and win FAC coyw

Isn't it odd, that at times we play much better actual football than Arsenal, but although Arsenal play some garbage at times, like the Brighton game. The difference is when we play bad we lose, but when Arsenal play bad, they still win. After just a few minutes on Wednesday, I somehow felt, that we would lose, as the same thing happened last season against West Ham. Spurs are our only double so far, and on reflection, that is not a great achievement.

To be honest, I thought West Ham were a pretty good side, well organised and balanced, high pressing Fulham well, and we struggled to get our game going. The margins in football are always very small and one mistake cost us the game. Most importantly, West Ham were evidently better than Spurs, who had no confidence at all at Craven Cottage last weekend. Even Wolves now can reasonably claim to have more confidence than Spurs. Who’d be a Tottenham fan now?
Replies
Both the bottom two are playing better that is because they know they are relegated and all the pressure is off and it much easier to play if you are not worrying about the result.

Probably our worse 45 mins of the season . We looked incapable of stringing two passes together . Offered nothing , and when the subs came on it get even worse . Smith_Rowe had a shocking 25 minutes in every aspect , Muniz never won a ball and Sess looked just confused . Embarrassing all round and not just on the pitch . West Ham were crap but at least they seemed to care , unlike Spurs a few days earlier .

What is it with Fulham and West Ham season after season, apart from that once in a lifetime 5-0 a couple of seasons ago, they have, just like Everton the hoodoo over us at home. West Ham's keeper, kept them in the game, and even our half baked team had 13 shots on goal against their 9, but the big defencive cockup, presented them with their vital 3 points, and probably has robbed us of any outside chance of a European spot, which was probably never on the cards anyway. Back to the drawing board then.

The whole match was terrible neither team could string more than two passes together at least West Ham created changes which we did not. West Ham were terrible but we were worse. Can we not play two games in a week, is that the problem.

Why do people over react so much? No way was it the worst performance of the season. Westham did their homework and denied us the space that Spurs gave us so readily. But for Leno's almighty cock up we wouldn't have lost but everybody makes mistakes it's just when it's the keeper it's decisive. On this showing Westham deserve there place in the league more than Spurs so tomorrow, for one night only, I'm rooting for Palace

Didn’t think it was that bad. I thought King looked lively on occasion. Players looked tired if anything. A draw would have been a far result. . The conditioning of the players has been an issue for years and the squad struggles with 3 games in a week.

Looking lively is getting a bit monotomus Paddy. Arguably, Josh King had the bulk of our best chances to win the game which would not have highlighted Leno's mistake too much. We wasn't at our best but we still created enough chances to come away with at least a draw against a West Ham who are not brilliant. Their goal scorer was probably motm and gave us problems.

It didn't help matters when Marco sends out a first team like that in the first half. Josh King did well to beat his man and had clear space and he should be doing better than that. Second half was slightly better with us pushing but still not at our best trying to string it together but no way through. I accept Leno getting it wrong and mistake but we still didn't do enough to get something out of this game. It just didn't work with Cairney out there tonight and Iwobi was poor, giving the ball away too much first half. That team Marco put out first half with Josh King should only apply if we are winning, it just didn't work.

LTS asked why there were so many changes, and I did ask myself the same question. As we nearly always lose to West Ham, we should have been unchanged from the Spurs game, except for HW. When I saw the line up, I had a nice bet on West Ham, at 5/2, so I will be a £100 better off. Thanks Marco.

MST, our moderator, has an onerous task and we should appreciate how he carries out his duties. For far too long, foul language has been far too prevalent and normally reflects on a person’s inability express themselves in our beautiful language. Therefore, posters should think before they add comments containing abusive or unnecessary language which could give offence.

There’s been so much controversy and adverse comments about so many clubs, from Arsenal, Liverpool to Man City to Palace ,Forest and Spurs etc etc, but happily, nothing about Fulham. We just go marching quietly on with, most importantly, a happy bunch of players, coaches and manager. Pundits like Tallksports’ Simon Jordan have few words to say about us because we are not controversial, and we Fulham fans don’t voice the bitterness that fans of so many clubs do. Controversy sells newspapers! Its true that Marco and Harry Wilson, at the end of their contracts, are considering their position but holders of any long term contracts are entitled to do this, and they don’t appear to have ‘downed tools’ and made unwise public comments. The owners and senior management at Fulham should be commended for that. COYW!

The snowflake generation. Those of a certain age will remember London in the seventies. Having said that, I don’t think anyone in the UK is safe. At least in the UAE you get a warning. There’s been stabbings in Edinburgh and Birmingham the past two days so you’re probably more likely to get killed over here. Keep your clappers handy to use as a Millwall brick. Luckily it’s a home game tonight so no trekking to deepest darkest east London.

I worked in London for over 50 years, and I loved working there. I went up to visit from West Sussex, and I hated every minute of, as it is a complete dump, that others have described. It is very difficult to hear and English voice, and in Oxford street, where I worked nearby, I was constantly bumped into by people with their heads down watching their mobile phones. Yes is a dump now is well described, and I don't intend to return for some while, as it is not my London anymore.

It's an absolute necessity to prove we are worthy of a Top Half finish this excellent season. This may decide whether Harry Wilson signs an extenstion and if we keep Raul Jimenez (which has to be a consideration, despite his age. Marco Sliva has been absolutely top of his game this season, especially when we have had some doggy decisions going against us. I had a anti-post bet that FFC would finish the season 14th, but that is money down the drain, but who cares?

Pay back time to beat West Ham, oy ye of the short memories. Carlos Tevez, scored against Manchester United away who were champions, winning 1-0 keeping West Ham up and relegating Sheffield United. Signed for Man United that summer, his registration to play for West Ham before he left was not correctly carried out. Sheffield United were paid £25 million pounds. We were nearly relegated and tried to sue West Ham. No action from Football League.

I think he made the right decision to give the invitation for uk to join in the war a miss! This war, aside being illegal, is going to get very messy and the end goal is easier said than done. More importantly do we want to get in bed with Trump and Netanyahu in a war. That would be a terrible idea. The latter already committed a war crime and the former could also become one when he leaves office. Even more importantly both have a hidden agenda that beyond getting more votes, unclear what they are yet. I am not a Starmer fan but it is about time our PMs don’t loo like a poodle to the president

I won't do a long debate on any of this but John' here are some thoughts from the American Senate, The second is that even before Trump, many Republicans, including many who do not personally like the president, ardently oppose the Iranian regime and would like to see it fall. I don't like Trump but it makes perfect sense to allow Man-Child Trump to go after a regime that has fueled and armed many countries and caused so much chaos to many Western nations over 40 years and more. Illegal or not, many would not have the balls to go after the Iranians. Yes, its Trumps mistakes on his watch and he will need the luck of the Irish and more to pull this off. We will be drawn into this war like it or not because we are labled as one of the western evils . Blair also was sucked in but again, Saddam and Gaddafi? Wars are not unusual or a rare thing, it's just that we haven't seen one since the 2nd ww. Biblically down that region, there has always been wars. Check it out. That region in the Bible.

Ignore Trump's insults, who he hates one week he will love next. Anyway we did not get involved in Israel trying to wipe out its neighbours and we should not get involved in Israel and America trying to wipe out the nasty middle Easters. Our forces faction is to defend us against those who attack us, not to attack who we do not like.

Yes, confidence we have (and it’s most certainly what Spurs don’t have), but arrogance? - I think thats a situation which would come before a fall. I’ve seen an interview with Bernd Leno in which he describes how Marco has done so well in building the players’ attitudes, promoting confidence and positive thinking. Oh gosh, have I just sold Marco to Spurs?

I am bit worried about the West Ham as they will consider they will have more to play for though I am sure our players must think getting into Europe next season is even more important thing to play for. Lets hope our optimism is justified and we get another good win and move up the table again.

Being third from bottom should make you desperate to survive and fight harder, we would be the same. The pressure is on them and in their position, you are prone to mistakes. It's all about confidence and our lofty position is a big help. What does give you an edge is a favourable fixture list at the start of the season and it also helps if you hit the ground running and get into a groove. Somewhere down the line, we will get a tough start to a season and then it will be our turn to dig ourselves out. In the meantime, let's enjoy it because harder times will come.

We also have more dangerous creative player and more players in form than we probably ever had before. What a great feeling you get when you watch them. These chances we keep creating are all going in one day, watch out West Ham, we let Spurs off the hook, you won't be so lucky
