Watching a poor excuse of a Premier League match tonight between Leeds and Everton, Leeds were awarded a penalty for a handball that never was, and the referee was the one and only Khris Kavanagh, aided by VAR. Neither Leeds or Everton deserved to win the game, as they were both dreadful, but Leeds will take one of very few wins that they will have this season. Let's see how they get on against Arsenal on Saturday.
Replies
Tarkowski should either have stayed still, or moved across more than he did. As it was, it was an experienced pro trying to get away with both leaving his arm down AND moving to block the ball as best he could, in this case with his arm. It was handball. Does anyone remember Edwin van der Sar keeping his hands down by his side but blocking an oncoming Man Utd forward, preventing a certain goal opportunity? We got away with it, though Alex Ferguson was livid on TV after. (Mind you, I don’t mind Fergie being livid as long as we stopped the goal.)

First games of the seasons are turgid in many cases and not much can be read into them I feel. Personally, I think that VAR has spoiled the game and is proving to do the opposite of what was intended. Yes, the technology is fantastic but it is still open to human interpretation so the game is slowed down and extended but we still have the same mistakes and debates. C’est la vie!
posted by MST (Moderator) - Tuesday 19th August 2025, 7:02 AM

I agree MST , I was hoping it would make the game fairer were big clubs didn’t get most of the close decisions . And cut out human error but nothing changed and game has slowed down
posted by DMK (Guest) - Tuesday 19th August 2025, 7:54 AM

I don’t know why improvements in technology that, on the whole, provide for better quality decisions should be criticised. It’s happening in all areas of life, so why not football too? It’s true that there will be ‘grey’ areas in what is inevitably a contact sport, but the overall quality of decision making is far less controversial than it used to be - or do people really want arguments and leaving a game with a feeling of ‘We woz robbed’?
posted by peterjeremy - Tuesday 19th August 2025, 10:12 AM

PJ, as previously indicated, the technology is not the problem with VAR. The problem is that, the only non-subjective decision made using the technology is off-side so we still leave games believing "we woz robbed" on occasion and as also previously indicated, have the same debates as previous to VAR.

If, as rumours suggest, Muniz departure to Atlanta is imminent then it will demonstrate those in charge are not interested in our future. They should have realised Muniz’s potential and tied him down on a long term contract with a decent wage. Personally, I consider Marco needs to be involved in transfer discussions as he has to attempt to provide a team capable of being competitive in ,the Premier. To appoint his son as Director of Football was a disastrous mistake and is probably responsible for the lack of signings for the past three years. If Muniz leaves I fear for our future.
Replies
Silva involved in who we sign, the club just don’t seem to to get things over the line, a proper director of football may help, but loads of mid table clubs have struggled this season it’s not easy when trying to upgrade same clubs after same players. Agents and players trying to get the most they can, . I feel even lo we have done our business later than I would have liked the last few seasons, we’ve got a good squad which our results mostly back. But yes Muniz should already be on a better deal

I am sure that Fulham fans..................................... Fulham Team..................................... Fulham Manager.................................. All want to win Trophies........................ A simple question why did the Khans buy Fulham FC?????????????????????????????????????????????? Teams similar to FFC like Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest through investment have made an attempt to be successful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So far the club seem to be happy to just stay in the Premier League and make as mush money as they can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If my last statement is not true please tell me why the Khans Bought FFC and what is their ambitions for the club.
Replies
Are you seriously comparing former English and European champions with little local competition for fans to Fulham? As for the Khans they’re like every American owner, they only see the bottom line and potential income.,They have no interest whatsoever in Fulham’s history or the fans, unless it’s to milk a few quid. If and when it becomes too expensive Fulham Park Rangers will raise its ugly head and the easily converted new stand and ground will be redeveloped.

They brought FFC so that the Jags could play their once a year game there, lots of money to make, however they made a mistake, they forgot to bring their tape measure and when it was to late they found our ground was not big enough. They tried to buy Wembley stadium later. Having got us they must have decided to give us a go. We’ve had a lot worse owners.

Relegation is a word that needs to be explained to most American owners . So to make things simple - if Fulham are relegated the impressive new stand will be half full ( at best ) of regular Fulham fans willing to pay around £75 a game , not corporate hosting at around £270 . Marco is sending out the need to improve the squad messages and has been for several months - totally ignored . So maybe the bottom line reality will sink in . And before anymore says we are too good for relegation , reality for us is survival and building for there . But each season the squad needs refreshing .

They bought the club as a going concern and my personal opinion is that they have improved it and will likely sell it on to recoup there money, a lot better situation to most buyers. As for all these rules from the premier league why is it palace get demoted to a European competition for 1 break of league rules yet Man City break 115 rules and have zero points deduction and are free to play in all competitions freely and spend endless amounts on new players?

The Khans make mistakes like everyone else, but if you think they make money from owning Fulham you’re way of they lose loads, so do most owners who own clubs the size of Fulham . I’ve been a fan since 1960 and the khans have done more for the club than any owners since I’ve been a fan

To be fair, it’s a pretty low bar. I can’t think of one owner who has invested for the love of the game. Bit like politicians, some start with good intentions but reality soon sets in. Let’s be clear, the Khans have not lost a penny. In fact their investment in the club is set to make them a tidy profit when they sell.

looks more and more likely we will lose Muniz this week and we will bring in Kevin. Probably similar fee - 40m EUROs plus add-ons. My question is if Kevin is a direct replacement for Muniz. My understanding is they are quite different - one is a winger who can also score goals, Muniz is an old fashion number 9. I am concerned we'd be starve for goals if the deals go ahead and we don't bring in another no.9 - so we must go for Hojllund!

why does it seem more and more likely, johnc ?.because a couple of unofficial websites have convinced your poor old self?.muniz was a shoo-in to join leeds up until recently, according to these, but hes still here, and might well remain so. its always best to wait and see, rather than wallow in gloom, which is exactly what you and others are currently doing.

What about no transfer window? It’s become a feeding frenzy for agents. I think it was introduced to stop clubs buying their way out of trouble. It’s plain they do anyway regardless so seems pointless. Might stop this indecent rush to buy players every few months when smaller clubs end up with the dregs.

We are all pleased that we got that last kick of the game equaliser at Brighton, but is it just papering over the cracks? By every account Brighton were the better side, and perhaps this might kickstart our window and get some players in. That was a weekend when clubs like Spurs, Forest, Liverpool and Manchester City had ‘statement’ wins, setting up nicely for them what will be a long season. Even Man U made a good account of themselves after a torrid last few months. Fulham should be hearing a few alarm bells.

Brighton were not a better side we had as much of the ball as they did and the chances created were very similar. We dominated the game for the first 20 minutes and the last twenty minutes. A few extra signing might be useful but the player we have paid the most money for is hopeless so signings are not always the answer.

You must have a transfer window, everyone should know their squad before the competition starts. Btw if you have no window, there will be constant unfairness, one week play a team and the next week they have three new players.

It can't be ‘unfair’ to buy new players, so long as the opportunity is open for everyone. (Of course you may then say ‘But clubs have different amounts they can spend’. So, we are attempting to iron that out with Financial Fair Play rules.)

A higher profile manager than Thomas Frank would most likely had got shot of Richarlison who scored a fantastic goal that would have lit up the Cottage but we don't rate him. Morgan Gibbs White looks a fantastic acquisition to any teams away from the top four but not good enough for Fulham ect ect. Are we posher than Posh spice who apparently would turn up at school in her dads Rolls Royce lol. I dread to think what we will do with Raheem Sterling who will turn up a washed up and useless old man of a footballer at the grand old age of 30. Last thing to say on Richarlison, we won't get him but at least we have a player in Muniz who is more than capable of scoring spectacular goals like that. The only question is can Muniz score any goals pretty ugly or even toe-pokes we don't care. All we wish and ask for is more goals from both Muniz Jimenez Smith Rowe and all players including a couple from Leno...

We beat Forest 2-1 at home last season and they returned the favour by beating us 3-1 away but we will see. I think they won on a few soft goals today undefended. Raheem Sterling is not an old man, as he is only just 30, and in this day and age, this is not old at all, and it has already been pointed out, Marco seems to have a knack of bringing out the best of so called old players, as he proved with both Willian and now our regular scorer Rual Jimenez. I would be willing to take a chance with Sterling if that is what happens. If he really wants to join us, then let's give it a go, if the Kevin transfer falls through.

Although it is still in the balance, I have a good feeling that Muniz will be staying with us, unless he is a good liar. After the match, and then watching his interview later on the Fulham website, he seemed very enthusiastic towards Fulham, saying how happy he is. Yes it was possibly part of the euphoria after scoring a late equaliser, but somehow it seemed genuine to me. He is certainly hot the greatest CF, that we had, but I have a feeling that if we stick together as a player and club, he could become as big a legend as Mitro was.

Having watched the game slipping away from Fulham as the A narukralclock ticked towards the final seconds of stoppage time, my screen started buffering . By the time I regained the picture the game was over and I was convinced the game had been lost. Then my wife pointed out it finished 1-1 and even then I did not believe her r. However, I digress. Having been along time supporter of Muniz’s latent talent it is pleasing to see this young man developing into a full blown striker. I am confident he will score 15 goals this season increasing his value to around £60 mln. Fulham cannot attract players until we prove a greater of consistency and therefore, we must aim for a top eight finish. This will not happen if we sell our most valuable asset.

I don’t think we can expect to see Raul Jiménez and Muniz together in the same team. Marco feels he has to start one or the other. Who to chose? Jiménez seems to gave more in his game to justify a start, and Muniz is an impact sub.

Do we think he’ll even be in a Fulham shirt? The continued noise seems to point to an early departure. I would be sorry to see him go as he has improved considerably, mind you, no matter how good, he has only played a substitute role and Jimenez has kept him on the bench.

It’s a long season and we need them both. If Muniz should go for a good price, it will only be when we have sourced another striker to fill his boots. (Thats the way it seems for a lot of middling clubs these days, who simply ‘Buy cheap, sell dear’.)

Two strikers in the same team gives the opposition a lot of space which if they exploit they will score lots of goals. 4-4-2 has sunk into the mist of time because of this. Even with we meet say a promoted team playing that system we would exploit is not copy it.

The squad needs 4 new players . Today it was good to get an away point but we created very little and a more clinical Brighton missed at least a couple of easy chances . We hardly worked their defence , esp the keeper . Signing players once the season has started might work financially - but not always . It could be teams sense " desperation " and hike the price . Plus it is good to give new players time to blend in , expecting them to gel instantly is unrealistic . Roy Hodgson used to say northern Europeans adapted quicker , within 3/4 weeks . Latin players needs longer to get used to the physicality and conditions . So you might save something on the fee - maybe - but you may not get the best out of the new players until mid season . Full credit to the team today keeping going until the end , but we need to add options .

We are not a million miles from them. Brighton played only slightly better and in my opinion, we can play a lot better than the ramshackle display today. Where was Sessegnon, was he on the bench? We didn't do enough to make breakthroughs, and it was a game for Sessegnon who can make things happen. Josh King played better than i first thought but there is nothing better than experience and Sess was needed today. We have got to stop treating Smith Rowe like a sub, he is our record money player for Pete's sake, like him or lump him he should play from the get-go. Not overjoyed with Marco's first eleven today but thanks to his better judgement second half we got a result from his subs. We didn't play well enough or deserve the win against an average Brighton...

I can forgive Harry who put that cross over for Muniz to score that one in the dying seconds PHEEW!!! Quality goal from our 50 million pound striker. Play him from the get-go!!! Too many players out of sorts today, Bassey, Lukic and Berge a touch clumsy but 1-1, that will do in a scrappy game today...
Replies
Wouldn’t argue with you but in the past when Muniz has started a game, rarely of course, hasn’t he looked a bit off the pace, however when he comes on as a sub seems to have the edge on defenders? I guess if we are to keep him he’ll want to start games. Decisions decisions.

Yes Mortlake. Apparently, they are paying Muniz chump-change the beggers would turn their nose up at. Muniz will know that he is hot topic and we can't ignore him now, we should play him from the get-go now and i should say pay him a lot more to keep up with inflation. I should say footballers rates...

I could have a good moan on not knowing if we have reinforcements or no reinforcements at the last hour but what's the point? We always do our business late but i expect something in the last seconds. It does look like Muniz if he stays, will be the main man to rely on up front Muniz is a gamble worth putting our two pennies on simply because there is enough high stake gambles in our team worth sticking out for and the main gamble is Emile Smith Rowe and we all know we have to be in this together because we invested big money on Smith Rowe so it makes good sense to roll with it if you get my drift. Like it or lump it, this is Marco Silva's project and he believes that Muniz will come good and Smith Rowe is the big money gamble that Marco thinks will come good so sit back and enjoy the ride because the big prem kicks off tomorrow with Liverpool and Bournemouth. Most will all think that Liverpool will start the ball rolling with an easy 3 points but do they have some defence frailties in Van Dyke? Our Mitrovic got the better of him a while back but time will tell. Not sure how many games are up on sky sports but we are up on sky against Man Utd Sunday next week followed by a ripper against Brentford which is an evening kick-off sat 20 September which should be a cracking game, bring on Harry Wilson again please. Enjoy our season folk's, it always is a pleasure...

Owen, always enjoyable although, from a critical view it left me concerned. Your third sentence is more like a paragraph, with only one comma in some eighty words. Personally, if we can garner four points from our first three games, I will be more than happy.

Not strong enough as it stands I think. It isn’t about surviving, as is often said, it’s about progressing. In business I was always told that if you don’t progress you stagnate. I reckon if we don’t strengthen the team we’ll stay in the low to high teens and without a bit of luck potentially worse. Jolly well hope my fears are ill founded. Been wrong before.

I sincerely hope that I am wrong, but without a couple of fresh faces, I feel that we are in for a very ordinary season, but nothing else other than that. Hopefully the word relegation won't come into the equation, but it is not beyond the realms of a possibility, especially after our expected bad start. My complete guess is that a finish of about 12th in the table, is what we might have.

If the spending is a roulette table, we are betting on black or red, and only occasionally. Forest are putting their house on a number. Unless they are lucky, they will run out of cash to bet very soon. While we won’t get rich quickly, we will still be sitting on a pile of cash!

Owen here’s my take : FFC expected big bids for Robinson , Pereira , Muniz and they thought HR would leave releasing his wages . However so far no bids so we can’t sign Zichenko and Nelson for the left side no CF and no midfielder to replace Pereira . I expect us to sign Sterling on loan to keep Marco happy if Chelsea help out with his extortionate wages .

At the start of last season most of the fans would have been delighted with mid table and free from relegation worries by January . There was even a time when top 7 looked possible , but the squad weakness & tiredness set in . We still ended respectable mid table but without at least 3 new players that will probably be best we can hope for . I applaud the possible introduction of youth players , that builds " one of our own " support , but we also need experience . Weakness currently would lack of speed in defence , mid field creativity after 60 minutes , and an extra striker . On the owners i do think there is a lack of " soccer " knowledge , but there are some Directors like Teflon Macintosh and Chief scout Talbot who should be more supportive of Marco and his team . In commercial terms the Riverside will sell out to corporate & hospitality clients providing we remain a premier league team , if we drop down a division that lucrative business will go elsewhere . That alone should move the owners into transfer action - after all these years the Khans should know the meaning of relegation , a word that does not exists in most American sports .

The only thing I am worried about is the results we achieve in the first three games of the season, if we start off badly that will set the tone for the season ahead. Sure we need new, younger and more tallented players in every sector of our team, except Goal, but most teams I think would say that. Marco Silva could have gone to the sunny dunes of Saudi Arabia this time last year - he didn't so I think he wont now. Lets get behind our team. No reason to pray yet!

The rumour mongers saying Muniz wants to leave obviously don't watch the videos of our squad on their travels. They all look very happy and together. It's the greedy agents hiking players around trying to earn a quick buck that are the problem. I don't see the point in making signings unless they're better than what we have.

Apparently, Muniz is on a pittance and it will not take much to upset the apple cart. If agents are truly worth their salt, Muniz and agent will push for higher wages and i would not be surprised if a move is on the cards. We need to tie him up to a stronger and a more financially attractive contract if we believe that he is the real deal...

Media reports now suggesting the Owner is ready to sell Fulham in the near future as the lack of investment into the team mirrors Fayed’s tenure and behaviour in his last two seasons as owner. This is why Mark Hughes left and why Jol was handed a sinking ship, no wonder Marco is absolutely fuming. We will be left dangling on the edge this season and hope if the reports are correct we get a good new owner in as soon as possible otherwise the slide will continue into next season.
Replies
My angry your post is well wide of the mark . Fayed ‘s time was up at FFC he was an old man and his family didnt want to inherit the club . Mark Hughes played his cards wrong by leaving as he admitted , Jol took over a decent side but his signings were awful and he eventually gave up with the benefit of hindsight he was very poor managerial appointment . I believe the Khans can take the Club further but financial fair play is hindering their ambitions for the club ,

How come these financial difficulties only seem to effect us, and not clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal. Newcastle, like us seem to be struggling with trying to balance the books, and are being restricted in their transfers. Both Fulham and Newcastle have extremely rich owners, and should therefore be able to buy who they can afford. Who brought these restrictive rules in, rules that don't appear to effect top clubs, just clubs like us.
posted by AC (Guest) - Wednesday 13th August 2025, 8:10 AM

Perhaps you should read and understand FFP rules. Rich owners have little bearing on FFP other than to prevent club going bankrupt.
posted by Mr Angry (Guest) - Wednesday 13th August 2025, 9:34 AM

The trouble is Mr Angry, is that I honestly don't understand the rules and regulations about ffp,and that doesn't really interest me, but I do understand that clubs like ours are being sold down the river, when the bigger clubs can spend money like water, and always get away with it. If you, Mr Angry, or anyone else come to that, can explain how it all works, I would be more than grateful. Over to you MST ! !
posted by AC (Guest) - Wednesday 13th August 2025, 10:08 AM

FFP is calculated by looking at a clubs income against its outgoings. Only a club's outgoings via transfers in, employee wages/bonuses are counted, but depending on how the club’s structured outgoings are also dividends paid to shareholders and running costs. Income will be from gate receipts, TV revenue, advertising(shirt sponsors etc.), merchandising(club shop), sale of fixed assets, like a training ground, sales of players and prize money. Any money spent on infrastructure(new stand) training facilities or youth development isn’t counted. Clubs are permitted to spend up to £5 million more than they earn per assessment period (three years). The problem for clubs like Fulham is money from advertising and merchandising. We don’t make enough from it compared to the likes of Arsenal and City. We can however, pay for the Arsenal supporting mayor of London to attend games.

Kevin Lopes of Shaktar Donetsk (Player of the Season 2024/25) looks an exciting player in the making (still only 22) plays in a very similar ilk to our old friend Willian, in that he likes to operate down the left wing & cut inside on the right foot - he looks strong, rapid & highly skilled (probably born with it being Brazilian) so now according to The Sun, “Fulham submitted an offer of £32m but Shakhtar Donetsk are trying to hold out for £43m” Should we stop being Bargain Hunt of the football world? I think we should go for another bid of £35-£40m as he’s under contract until 2028 & only young, our owners just seem so tight - but of course I would go for it as I’m a gambler anyways!! What do we all think the club should do?

The lack of any younger gifted players and numbers (we had the smallest squad last season) is gifting the pundits the chance to say that Fulham FC will be throughout next season in the bottom six, if not fighting relegation. Now we have a nice new stand on the Riverside why do the Kahns think life would be better in the Championship? It would not, because it is now far harder if you get promotion back to the Prem and stay in the Prem. Am I right? Of course, I am. It is already now far too late for the season opening games when Antonee Robinson will be missing injured. No wonder Maro Silva is pulling his hair out. It does not look good lads.

Is he really going to Atalanta? Left out of the squad on Saturday. Should we sell at £40m?? Many of us would laugh at this figure less than 18months ago. But now - he could become a £70m striker if he continues his very respectable goal to game ratio. Our problem is we should have renewed his contract last season (isn't he still only on 10k per week) - we left it so late, we may have to cash in.
Replies
JohnC, some of us thought he would be worth £50 mln 18 months ago and it would be criminal if we well to sell now just when he is beginning to show his true potential. Far too many posters just want to moan with many opening their mouths and putting their foot in it. Yes, it is frustrating that no new signings have been made but none of us actuallly know what is going on behind the scenes. If no new signings are made when the new season starts, that is the time to moan.

Leeds not giving up on Muniz pursuit Latest from Sky Sports' Zinny Boswell and Lyall Thomas: Atalanta remain keen to sign Rodrigo Muniz at Fulham. However, Fulham do not want to sell the striker. He is considered a key part of Marco Silva’s plans Leeds have also not given up hope of signingMunizbefore the deadline. Muniz is Leeds' top striker target and they have remained patient in their pursuit of the Brazilian That is despite Fulham’s insistence they will not sell to a Premier League rival and the interest of Champions League club Atalanta. Fulham do not wish to sell Muniz at all but the player is believed to be keen on exploring a move to Atalanta Money Talks, Sell to highest bidder & give Marco Funds to spend!!

Every day I'm reading different things about what is going on at our club, and each day I get even more despondent. As it stands we look in a complete mess, and I know we don't really know what goes on behind the scenes, but even a blind man can see that there are big problems. I'm sure that not one of us could even have imagined that, we would be starting the season, without two or three new additions to our squad, and who the hell is responsible for this, other than the Khans. I've mentioned before how furious I am, and it wouldn't really surprise me, if we start the season without a manager/coach, and who would blame Marco for Chucking it in. If we knew the situation before renewing our ST'S, I'm sure that we wouldn't have bothered. I am certainly full of regret. I honestly think, that we will struggle to avoid the drop, and we will have one of the best grounds in the Championship. Even posting this, leaves me seething.

Haven’t Bournemouth just sold £70 million worth of players? We rarely have a decent resale value of anyone we get in. Them usually bring the wrong side of 30 and injury prone doesn’t help.

Is it not better to keep all your good players rather than sell them and hope you can get replacement players at least as good. If you are looking at real needs we need a striker who scores a lot of goals and a quality central defender. I think they will come soon in and slot in when they are fully fit. We still have the best squad we have ever had.

As i said paddy they sold 100 mill worth of talent spending i think about 54 mill, its down to good scouting and taking a chance, you dont have to sell all the cream just take a scoop of the top , one player you buy at 30 mill end of season he goes for 60 mill you now check out two more players .

I can only agree with Brain Doctor's original post - that, whatever he shows in training, in matches Pereira was always wasteful of deadball situations, whether corners or free kicks. I think it was just a question of him being too wound up, trying too hard. Whatever. We have to get someone better.

I agree with both you, Mr Angry, and craven in an article below, in that Marco will be off soon. I have just watched his interview, and it was not a bouncy one, but an I'm not going to be here much longer one. We will take the field against Brighton, with more or less then same team, that we lost at home to against Man City, and that is not an improvement team, but one that is standing still, and we could be ion for a very rough season, with even a relegation battle at the end, under a new manager. The Khan's are all smoke and mirrors, and we have no more chance of making new signings that Starmer has of stopping the boats. If it is of any consolation, all of my Brighton supporting neighbours, are moaning about non signings as well.

Yes, we will return to normal service in two weeks time but to keep the brain cells working I am hoping that you guys who often post educated articles can assist me in understanding this answer to the explosion in illegal immigration. Surely it is not just for residence in hotels which normal people would not be able to afford for more than two weeks. Of course one naturally expects them to be treated as holiday makers are when they spend two weeks holiday by receiving three meals a day. However, holiday makers are not given a mobile ephone but that is because they already have one. Strangely, they also are paid to stay in the hotels and the phones are to help them communicate with friends waiting in Calais advising them it is fine to cross the Channel with a French naval escort up to the English part of the Channel. There is also the opportunity of a bit of moonlighting as delivery people which tops up their meagre weekly allowance. Fortunately, Stammer and his cohorts have finally come up with the brilliant scheme which has been endorsed by their French counterparts. Why no one, including the Conservatives, had thought of the amazing solution to the continuous immigrant arrivals on our shores I know not. The wonderful scheme labelled “One in, One out which has left Stammers critics dumbfounded. Unfortunately, i have not quite grasped how it works so, I shall be obliged if the brainer posters can enlighten me.

1 in 1 out will prove just a gimmick; it will not work. The only credible plan that would have worked is the Rwanda scheme and we all know why Rwanda didn't work. Woke judges and bureaucrats in Europe who don't have any love for Britain scuppered the plan by jamming up the moving process and stopped the planes taking off to Rwanda. Anybody legit who claims to be moving from countries that are war-torn would be happy to take on a new life and opportunities in Rwanda. Interestingly, the Americans have hijacked the Rwanda scheme and they have successfully deported 250 migrants to Rwanda which shows the scheme can work. Britain has always taken in migrants and both labour and Conservative governments are complicit in doing so. Even migrants that have successfully migrated and adjusted to the British way of life know that it is impossible for Britain to take in fresh migrants at the rate of numbers coming in and the system is under strain and in collapse because there just is not enough houses and resources to sustain the influx of migrants unless we build new towns etc and if we can do that, it would be miraculous and more migrants would just keep coming. Everybody young and old in Britain will qualify for a pension and we know if you haven't worked and paid into the scheme, you will get some sort of reduced pension and we already know the great British state pension scheme is in danger of collapse with the strain, they simply cannot afford it something has to give. Last thing on Migrants compared to guest? If you invite a guest to your house you make room for your guest for dinner and maybe a bed to sleep. If ten unexpected turn up, you are not prepared. Anybody who thinks i or anyone writing about this subject is racist, just think about the invite of a dinner guest to stay one night and you have ten people turning up to your house. Just imagine all this ten times fold on people turning up univited across the channel from a safe country like France. Nuff said!!!

This time last season Liverpool fans were extremely unhappy without any signings. I don’t think if they threatened to throw their season tickets away but that’s a bit dramatic isn’t it? So we haven’t signed any players.
