This was a gamble from the start
 
Only the Khans who no nothing about football, would appoint this inexperienced under 16 manager at Nadrud. Cheap option and it is suicidal. If you can’t see that already, then you are not pure Fulham supporters. Get rid of him now appoint Eddie Howe and we can change instantly. Honestly, we will lose to Zliverpool Man U and also Ipswich at this rate. Bottom no points to late to catch up. All teams much better recruitment and losing to two worst sides Oskace and Sunderland clearly shows the fire situation.

I would love AA to be successful , he has us attacking in numbers whereas Silva relied on one forward with little support . I know that we look fragile defensively but that might be down to some of our defenders being slow and sloppy . Finally ESR , Kevin appear to be creating trouble behind the scenes , maybe they should put that effort in on the pitch . £60M could have been spent on players that actually perform

If we are relegated i wouldn't put it down to Smith Rowe because he isn't on the pitch long enough for any effect. I agree that we haven't quite sussed out how we should use him best and he is not the only problem player in our midfield who we don't get the best from. The same can be said about Muniz who is a bio product from the Marco era; Marco loved him and that's why he is still here.

Problems increasing
 
For a new manager to attempt to change a tried and trusted system on the first day of his tenure was a fatal mistake. Changing to a high pressing formation without having sufficient talented defenders has left large gaps on both flanks. The game against Palace was a classic example of how not to defend with Castange and Robinson both in the opposing penalty and Palace exploiting the gaps by playing long ball to their wide players. Most of their attacks came from their left flank with Mitchell finding space time and time again with Castange unable to get back to close him down. Mitchell scored with a powerful shot but, in my opinion Leno should have save. Fulham played some excellent football working his socks and was rewarded when his shot was deflected leaving Henderson stranded. Having led at halftime we then gifted Palace an equaliser which was akin to a scene from a Laurel and Hardy film. With the ball bouncing around in our penalty are we had four attempts to clear it but only managed to kick it up in the air whilst Leno looked on wondering whether to get involved. Eventually, the ball was cleared directly to Mitchell who poked it towards goal straight to Garcia who tried to clear the ball upfield but somehow missed the ball completely and ended flat on his face. The ball trickled towards goal with Leno and two defenders virtually watching it crossing the line. What Garcia was doing in his own penalty area I know not. Sorry I digress. The manager obviously decided to completely disrupt the team in order to accommodate the cast offs from Real leaving our stalwarts, Sessegnon, Muniz and Smith Rowe on the bench for the three opening games thus affecting the balance of the team. I know I have said it many times before, but Andersen is a liability and needs to be sold. The present approach is not working and I suspect AA will be returning to Spain if we lose the next two games. I see that Nottingham Forest ,have wasted no time in sack in their manager who I believe survive a total of five games. My biggest concern is the domino effect with results triggering further unrest within the dressing room. Whist I believe the new players are talented it will take time for the to adjust to English football. As for the manager he is living on borrowed time and we desperately need to get points on the board or we will be facing a relegation battle in the not to distant future. I would like to see the three players mention earlier to start against Liverpool as I have confidence the Muniz and Sessegnon will increase our fire power and would leave Bobb on the bench as he has failed to inspire and is too much of a lightweight. Unless we improve defensively we will face a disastrous season.

Having turned down an offer of £9,000 000 from Everton for Kenny Tete. I will be most dissapointed if he doesn,t start against Liverpool. He is the best right sided defender we have. Whether he plays instead of Anderson, or as an extra defender I don't mind. We have to stop attacks from the left

I can't believe how our fans are so fickle and after a couple of games wanting to sack the new manager. Arbeloa may not have been my first choice when Marco left but he deserves a chance and that means we have to judge him after maybe at least 10 games. We are scoring goals. We are exciting to watch. Ok, also excruciating to watch when we see the calamity goals. Irabola at Liverpool had a terrible first 2 games and pundits say they'd lucky to finish 4th. Now they think have a chance of winning after a win at Ipswich! If we win tomorrow, some fans will suddenly think we have found a magician. Don't be so Fickle, FFS! Com'on FFC.

I feel we need a centre-back and Andersen doesn't look up for the job these days and that is why i am rooting for David Affengruber to come in and hit the ground running but the question is, will Arbeola ring the changes? His unwillingness to bring on subs and players from the Marco era will be our downfall, sad to say. In fact, it might take more than Affengruber to save our season. I would have preferred the option to sign Fikayo Tomori because he looks the more solid centre-back and i think he was the prefered choice but the transfer broke down. Let's hope that Affengruber is the real deal and the big question is, will Arbeola play him?

More important than Harry, David Affengruber.
 
We need David Affengruber to come in and hit the ground running Saturday against Liverpool, and it's as simple as that. The trouble is we don't do simple these days because simple isn't in our DNA. Arbeola would be an absolute hero if he plays Affengruber and a few more squad players used to the rigours of the prem. We don't do promising youngsters so we can safely rule out Kusi Asare he isn't old enough for starters. I expect a same 11 from Arbeola who i think believes in the powers of magic fairy dust and all things Spanish. Nothing wrong with that if you are Spanish and if you are the manager of Fulham. And ther is nothing wrong in supporting our team and manager because it's Fulham. So 'COME ON FULHAM' against a tired in europe Liverpool!!!!!!!

Tourist Tax & Work that isn't meaningful.
 
I don't agree with another tax on more taxes because holidays and accommodation in places such as Cornwall are already expensive enough. Work that is not "meaningful" can be bad for your mental health, a campaigner has said? This is a quote from a Gigi El-Halaby a tattooed woman who is anti-capitalist so i think she wouldn't get on with most Fulham fans. What is wrong with working for Boots or Tesco while you study or even if you haven't worked out what you really want to do in life etc etc. If we carry on like this in this country, nobody will be working unless they land their dream job. I would like to be a centre-back for Fulham by the way and that i will consider to be my dream job.

A lot of price rises in hotels are not fully justified by cost increases so I believe a lot of them will absorb the tax cost to avoid customer loss. people have gone back to holidaying in this Country but if accommodation become even more expensive people will go elsewhere. They will find however that most Countries in Europe have similar taxes.

Who do you fancy as Fulham's next Manager?
 
The pick as far as I can see Eddie Howe, a bit early after his Newcastle stint. Graham Potter who has done very well, except at Chelsea. Sean Dyche who has been apparently spotted at Motspur Park. Thomas Frank who was excellent at Brentford, Julian Nagelsmann or Antonio Conte, both of whom are highly regarded and experience. You cannot have an ochestra with out a conductor both on and off the field of play.

The knives are clearly being sharpened according to Press and online rumours, with Arbeloa being touted as already being readied for the sack If past form is anything to go by, Khan will dither, as we will most certainly drop further from safety, putting off any decent replacement. How long should Khan wait before putting Arbeloa, the players and us, out of our misery? If we get nothing, as expected, out of the next 2 games, will you still support him?

As usual , the press continue to be dispicable beings. Not that there isnt an element of true in their arguement but its sickening how they use their power to destroy people at will. Being reasonable ,irrespective of whatever happens next 2 games , its at the end of the following 3 vs all the newcomers when an ojective decision would have to be made, and if negative, much as I do have faith in AA, i would have to support a sad decision.

Hopefully our new signings will strengthen our defence and provide the confidence needed for AAs attacking intentions. Give the bloke a chance this could come good within a few games. Much the stronger side v Palace and Sunderland and not too shabby against the scum. Would like to see Kenny back in the team and Andersen sidelined. He’s been our weakest link this season and cost us a place in Europe last.

Trust the stats
 
Yes, the mother of all statistics (win/lose/points), we are doing very poorly with zero!! however, if you look beyond the results, here are some interesting numbers. Fulham vs Average of all teams in PL. Goals conceded 2.33/1.35 (Very bad!), Saves 2.65/2.95 (ok), xG 0.61/0.65 (ok), shots 12.6/6.6 (v.good), on target 3.7/2.25 (v.good), possession 54.3/50.0 (good), corners 4.7/2.55 (v.good), successful passes 513/435 (v.good) - so statistically, we are very very good and probably in the top 10. We just need a little bit of tweaking to reduce the number of goals conceded with the number of shots. We haven't lost by more than one goal so far. So, I like to keep my faith in Arbeloa. He plays like Iraola and he didn't get his first win in his first 10 games at Bournemouth. So, I think Arbeloa should get at least that many games before any talk of sacking!!

We have a good attack because everybody attacks but a lousy defence as they are all attacking. Stats do not lie. If you defend all game a get a point which is 1 more point than you get if you attack all the time.

Which idiot jeered Iwobi?
 
I heard he was jeered when he was sub on Saturday!?! Which idiot jeered him? I was in the JH end and I didn’t notice. But whoever jeered him is an arse, no idea of the team and not a true loyal fan. Iwobi been one of our best players in the last 2 seasons. A lot of his hard work sometimes go unnoticed. He’s been the only player who can bring the ball forward. He plays with great spirit and happy to play any positions the managerr put him. To jeered him is pathetic and the idiots who did this should be ashamed!!

I may be suffering from some sort of mental illness but I think we may get something from Liverpool and Man Utd. Neither have been running away with their results and with luck for a change and players desperate to put the boos behind them we could end up first on Match of the Day for the right reasons. Perhaps I may need to go and lie down in a dark room!!

BEING OPTIMISTIC
 
When reading the official website, as I always do, it seems that we have a very talented bunch of youngsters coming through, some of which seem to be finding the back of the net quite regularly, which is encouraging. So looking to the future, it seems an optimistic outlook. I just hope that I can stay around long enough to see some of these youngsters making the first team. AA is very keen on the young element, so maybe it won't take too long before one or two make the squad, even if only on the bench for experience.

Arbeola insist on playing his favoured first eleven every game so far this season, the exception being players such as Andersen who was clearly off the pace last week. Benched players who don't get enough opportunity in game time should not cop for what is happening on the pitch.

I watch the youth teams a lot, as much as I in joy. I have been critical in the past when have sad put them in first team it’s such a gap between premiership and youth football . And fill mostly they need to go on loan first. But must say I’m very excited by what’s coming through this season

I have just been talking to my hairdresser, who is a Palace ST holder, and went to CC on Saturday. He told me not to worry about Fulham and relegation, as on the day, Fulham were the better team by far, and he admitted, that all of the 3 goals scored by Palace, were, as in his words, fortunate. My friend said that Joss King was outstanding, and he is more worried about Palace being involved at the bottom, and although at home to Ipswich this weekend, and then Leeds away, he wasn't that confident. It was good of him to praise Fulham, but I always tend to sympathize with the opposition when we win, and he could have been just being polite ? ! !

We were the better team in midfield and going forward but the defence is indefensible. We’re playing back five tactics with four defenders. Ridiculous!! Continue like this and it’s going to be a LONG season.

Doesn’t matter Tibor, we could play all Callander year and still struggle for points with current tactics. Hopefully Arbeloa is not as stubborn as Marco was and will tweak our defence by slotting in the new centre back to make a back five or play Charles and Berge together. Might reduce our goal threat but would certainly kerb concession.

It's too early to worry about relegation. The fact that out of all the players we have signed not one has any Premiership experience as a out and out striker with a record of success. Our Manager is rightly on trial as he was only Manager of Real Madrid after Xabi Alonzo left as a bridge until when Real could appoint Jose Marino. Fact. Therefore, he wasn't even a starter there. His full name is Álvaro Arbeloa Coca, but I do hope you lot will not start calling him a clown. He has only been a manager for two season, totally untried even in Spain! It's our Management to blame.

Look in the bright side - most teams relegated has a very common issue - they cannot score goals: the average goals scored by the relegated teams in the last 10seasons is 30. We have already scored 5 after 3 games. So we are doing something right but just need to tightened up the defence a little bit to turn these narrow lose to narrow wins. Don’t panic yet!!

Forgot to mention- do you think he’s also to blame for the situation we find ourselves? he’s already left in 2 goals in the near post. Surely, rule number one for keepers is to cover the near post! No defenders can help you there. Yesterday, we had Anderson correctly directing the defender to the near post and who’d thought Leno left a big gap!! Leno is far too comfortable at Fulham!

I didn't see any reports or analysis on the game, is it Leno more at fault for our loss? Saw a great save from Leno i think two at the left post, which he coped with okay. I just don't think it is a goalkeeping problem over a defence that is seeing us lose games. Leno isn't a Ray Clemence but he is in this position of playing the most games for one reason only and that is Leno is our best keeper for a long time now. What is it 150 odd games in a Fulham shirt? We have and always have had a defensive problem made worse this season from a flawed plan of a high pressing game that isn't working for us. It wouldn't take a genius of a pundit to work out that we are in trouble with our flaky defence. The truth is, the recruitment of Berg or even Lukic isn't a patch on João Palhinha remember him? Palhinha is missed more than we thought and we are in denial of that fact or detail, there i have said it.

Never came anywhere close to replacing Palhinha and Mitrovic. Or even Pereira for that matter. We have a lesser squad third year running, but more importantly, a lesser manager. That formula adds up to trouble. But I guess we can enjoy a season of end to end action right? Playing the kids right?

What a difference a top keeper makes to a winning side. Arsenal are going to win so many matches, not that they score so many goals, but they don't let many in, and Raya, since he left Brentford, is a master of his craft in goal. He is probably the best in the world at present. To think that we scored 2 against him at Wembley, in the playoffs final.

We used to play with two defensive midfielders who fell back as pure defenders when we lost the ball. Our new manager who does believes that is necessary as he wants everyone to attack. If you do not have defensive midfielders the midfield group must be closer to the defence, but our manager does not support that theory either. His tactics seem to be everyone attacks and those that get back in defence do. It is does not work in any way. All the goals scored against are down to defending failure caused by theses stupid tactics.

ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
 
If my company had a board of advisors composed of the people on this site, 90% would have been sacked last night. Im not saying in any way that a lot of truth wasnt said, but i must emphasise that the way it was put forward is that of a bunch of censorious critics. Yes our defence has been a shambles, yes who plays in goal neads rethinking yes our pressure football is not working yet and yes we are not having a good run. Marco was criticised for not having a plan B, but people here are the same, Sack AA, Crucify TK, etc……. When the match finished Yesterday, i was pulling my hair out for the obvious, but whereas bad runs with most of our previous managers left one with an impotent sensation because we really had no way out, todays picture is quite the opposite. So we have problems at the back, Anyone would like to suggest improvements or best sack AA as that will solve it. Anderson is fished as Affengruber is infinately more reliable. Tete is technically a better defender than castagne and has always provided better support upfront but he hasnt been picked because with AA not knowing much about either, it was Castagne who got the coverage and just happened to play above his level in the world cup. Add to this that we could temporarily ease down on our pressure system and revert more to counter attacks with the same players we have as most of them could be lethally fast, we could now look at the future from a different perspective.Thankyou for your attention, in anticipation of politically correct responses i had contemplated hibernating for a few days but on second thoughts will change to plan b and await standing in sir lancelot fashion in protective chainmail armor.

Last season we always played with two defensive midfielders who if we lost the ball quickly move back into the defence, which means we rarely conceded the sort of goals we keep conceding this season. All out attack means all players must be fast to get back into all our defence. That is not happening as for each goal our defence is spread far and wide with plenty or room for attackers. More and more teams will understand how we play and take advantage of it. The manager is using badly flawed tactics without seemingly being aware of it.

TTIN' it's well and okay to want defenders to push upfield and high press which can be a good tactic and reap rewards but we don't have the quality of players like Trent Arnold who has left Liverpool. It's okay to get caught out on the counter every now and again, it happens to the best. You have to have more in your locker and Trent Arnold had a mean free kick which got goals, Castagne doesn't have goals in him from any angle. Maybe the one i can recall but not much more. Yes' we want the manager to come with new ideas but we also don't want us Fulham to be known as soft touches and predictable and prone to errors every time we step out from now on. I hate the lable rookie and there are reasons we should wait a little longer than three games to judge Arbeola. The big worry is how we lost to two teams around our standards, which are average and looking forward to harder games doesn't instil confidence in me personally, everyone can speak for themselves. I can and will do the only thing left to do on here and that is to say, COME ON FULHAM!!! Lets hope that our new centre-back can play and help calm the situation.

Well written post, We need to shore up the back to stop the silly goals, play a central back 3 of, Tete, the new CH and bassey, have 5 across the middle with full backs bombing on, have Garcia and / Muniz/ Kevin or Bobb. Think Iwoby is either struggling with managers plans as he does not look same player as previos seasons also drop palacious and bring in ESR

We're having a bad time and Lady luck has deserted us but it bemused me how so many posts refer to confidence waining. If the players read these posts then confidence will be rock bottom. Three games in and so many fans seem to have given up already. Supporters like that really don't help. You want the players to pick up, well I want you negative posters to pick up too. COYW

i understand the frustration but i don't quite understand the over-reaction of relegation and sacking of the manager already. I don't think anything said here would bother the players or the manager. there are a lot more toxic stuff out there. We have to be patient and given the club already put a bet on Arbeola, we have to be patient and let him work things out. Our performances haven't been too bad. we haven't been out-played. The manager just needs to find a way to play the way he wants but tighten our defence. I remember Marco had the same issue with our defence but he eventually worked things out. The question in Arbeloa's mind maybe continue to give Castangne the license to roam what Arnold was doing at LIverpool, or hold him back or get a more agile and quicker right centre back. He also have to think about Bobb and how he should play. He's lacking end product but also playing very high up without helping the left back. I'd like to see him playing Berg and Charles in the short term to stablise the middle. But sorting out the right side will be more difficult! but let's be patient for at least until November/December,

The manager is very slow to recognise his tactics do not work. He is very inexperienced in fact I would say his thinking is badly flawed. In our next two PL games we are playing top teams which means we can potentially have played 5 league game and lost them all. This would take a lot of coming back from and probably best under a new manager with more defensive tactics.

I was surprised by a couple of things yesterday, one being that we were on first on MOTD, and secondly how Danny Murphy tore us apart, well at least our defence. Of course they only show the highlights, but to me, it looked like that we played some very nice football, and my goodness didn't Palace have all the luck in the world to win that game, and how did Muniz miss those two opportunities to score. Hopefully the last members of the squad who we signed, and have yet to play, will stiffen our defence. Thinking back to last season, it was 9 games before Villa won a match, but they didn't panic and sack their manager, and they haven't even scored a goal yet, but I'm sure Emery won't be given the boot any time soon. I feel that we have to give AA until at least the International break, even if we are still in the bottom 3, as seems likely at the moment.

If there is any truth in the postings that have been made on our sister site, it appears that our squad, have already lost faith in AA, with Iwobi of all people, dropping any connection with Fulham on line, and Kevin as well. If true, and it's only what I have read, then we are in bigger problems than we thought. I hate to say this really, as it is a panic remark, but Eddie Howe, must be connected ASAP, and make him a good offer, or failing that McKenna, as he does get his clubs to be promoted, if we do fall through the trap door. It's not that bad at present, as no clubs get relegated in September, but leave it too long, and we just might be in May.

You will not win if you defence keeping getting periods when it is missing or undermanned. Teams that get relegated usually attack well nut keep conceding though poor defending.

LTS, i would rather we had Muniz for 90 minutes against Palace and for sure Muniz would have had more than two chances. I am just not convinced about our new target man Gonzalo who is too lightweight for my liking. Gonzalo will get all the time he needs to settle in score or no score goals. Muniz is more solid and built for the prem. I wonder how many goals Muniz might score if given time and space? Muniz not brilliant but he is what we have and Marco liked him and we didn't question Marco. Slavisa; i didn't understand a word he said but i loved the guy. Memories we will never forget...

David Affengruber.
 
I have been a touch over Overexuberant in my comments i admit but here is one more i would like to make before i shut the trapdoor. Arbeola wouldn't have had time to prepare David Affengruber for the battle but we need this centre-back pronto and let's hope he is the real deal and if he is okay, Affengruber and Bassey might be our saving grace this season. Bassey will throw every inch of his bulk to block the opposition and rightly so he should be captain in a crisis. My only concern with the Affengruber appointment is that i am not sure if he was first choice out of him or Fikayo Tomori? For reasons i don't know about, Tomori and transfer broke down which is a shame because i think Tomori is a proper defender built for a job in crisis. Tomori was around when Lampard had a go with Derby County and personally i think that era was one of the best for Frank Lampard and team. All true fans will want a fight and we will be up for a fight and Affengruber we hope will not come as second best. We can only hope. All the best i want to say....

Josh King...
 
It wasn't all bad and i thought Josh King was amazing today and i just wanted to say that because sometimes i slate him too much. I liked the way Josh switched over to the left side and rolled one of theirs to put in a ball and he was just electric all over the pitch. I applaud Arbeola for persevering with Josh and i see him improving with every game. That said, Arbeola is deluded to keep faith or keep on too long his too lightweights from Real Madrid. I will say that Palacious had a good game to be fair and maybe he should have stayed on the pitch. Gonzalo is a tryer but he isn't ready for 90 minute games and he was a absolute plonker for getting involved at the wrong end of the pitch, what was he doing up there in the first place to concede like that? Muniz, i know you guy's will be cursing him for missing those chances but i am still convinced that if Arbeola had the good sense to sub on Muniz with more time on the pitch, we might have had goals from him, Arbeola and timing for subs is not good, very amateurish. Our high pressing game could be better if we nial our chances more and more goals would have saved our blushes. Andersen is too slow now, and I am starting to see why Bigboy doesn't like him. Robinson and distribution in the first half is shocking and thats a problem. Castagne is encouraged to bomb forward but he is a poor man's flanker and he isn't effective or skilled enough for what Arbeola thinks he can do and besides, when we get caught out on the counter, we are always in trouble because our poor defenders are poor except Bassey who is rightly our captain. I hate to say this but i say sack Arbeola now nice and early because after the Utd game we will most likely be bottom. When you are down and low, nerves kick in and every pass will be short and we will get hammered by the better teams. Palace are a poor team now with Glasner gone and trust me, we have played 2 poor teams in Sunderland and Palace so far. There won't be many more poor teams apart from Coventry and i don't think they are poor, Coventry have played tougher teams than we have in my opinion. By the way, Hull? They are a very good team; don't look at Hull and think 3 easy points, nuff said!!!!!

Good post Owen and in general I agree with most of your comments. I will post my own thoughts in due course. I thought we were poor against Sunderland so,I waited to see how today’s game panned out before trying to analyse what the problems are affecting the team’s performance. In my opinion, it is down to the manager for persisting with the same team set up in the three games. Same of our players are being left on the bench when they should be starting. More of this later.

We so miss Lukic or someone who is as good and affective as he was. We have gone from to many defensive midfielder to having to many attacking ones who do not see their role is to help the defence.

Manager
 
Our manager wants everyone to attack but does not expected them to defend, when we had two defensive midfielders they would always come back to help the defence, For the three Palace goals our four defenders faced 5 or six attackers and failed to stop giving the goals. Anderson now looks slow to move and to think. The manager does not seem to recognise what is going wrong and needs to go.

Lol, Castagne is bombing upfield all well and good but not effective enough, we need paydays in goal involvement from those tactics. We are too open and too exposed when we lose the ball. The word is sixes and sevens. Charles had a decent game with Josh King.

Tough
 
Now it’s gonna be tough. To drop points against Sunderland and Palace is just poor. We played reasonably ok today but defensively a disaster which gave them the game. We’ll be in a dog fight with Palace from here on in. Now got to get something fron the next 2 games. Not impossible but defensively we just can’t keep giving goals away for free. Hopefully our new signings can improve this but it’s a hard ask.

Harry Limes, Owen and myself are passionate supporters of Fulham and attempt to give our opinions on this board. It is easy for other people to criticise us but at least we make an attempt to provide reasonable comments. If we had far more than the usual half a dozen posters who make the effort to express their opinions in a sensible manner then this site would be far better. Over the years that I have been posting we have lost many contributors who have given up the ghost due to abuse that their postings have received. Over the past years that abuse has shown a marked increase with posters using stupid monikers in order to shield their true titles. Please try to be respectful or you lose posters who make the effort whilst many others post critical and abusive comments.

What next?
 
So maybe we pull a rabbit out of the hat against Liverpool, United and/or West Ham but I doubt it and my worry is that confidence amongst the players will be so shot by the time we face Ipswich we could lose that too. Those who’ve been on this site a long time will know that I am usually positive about our toils but I really cannot see how we can survive with these tactics, these players and this management team. As I’ve said twice previously, when Arbeloa eventually goes (and he will in my opinion - hopefully before December if this form continues), the squad the the next guy inherits is a mess. Tony Khan, you’ve excelled in your incompetence this time!

Well the team tactics are awful Teams just pass through with ease The manager quite honestly is not up to this league 3 games defence wide open and he really as no idea how-to rectify the issues It's already time after just three games for him to be in this position you would hope he resigns Mr KHAN please resolve this nightmare and give the club a chance of not being relegated Your choice and you definitely need to change managers asap

We were either going to be heroes or villains with a new manager and the loss of experienced players. Sadly it's all gone wrong though. AA now needs to leave the 2 Spaniards on the bench and play Muniz and co first up, effectively reverting to the Marco format as best we can. Iyobi needs to be instructed come forward more. Anderson needs to be dropped and our faithful Leno as well. Both have lost their edge. The two Spaniards can be brought when and if appropriate. I haven't loss faith yet...but getting close!!

Bobby, you are 100 percent correct, and our only hope, is that he goes immediately, and we go on bended knees to Ernie Howe. We have some talented players, and a decent manager could possibly blend them into a decent enough squad to save us from relegation, but AA definitely won't, and that stands out a mile. If we can all see it TK, must be able to see it.

Of course we will win games, but it won't matter, as we will be too far behind everyone else when we do, to make any difference. I admire the faith that some of you have in AA, turning it around, but I'm sorry I don't have any faith in AA at all. I hope that you are all right, and I am wrong. It will be a good test of how good, or bad we are, when we play Championship side West Ham.

We've already played two of the worst teams in this league and they are Sunderland and Palace. Hull are decent, i can't see us beating them when it comes around. When you are down, the nerves creep in every game. Arbeola thinks we were unlucky and that's the sign of a deluded and naive manager. Arbeola will play exactly the same eleven against Liverpool and his two Spanish boys will play 90 minutes. He likes Josh King which is the only positive tactics you will see from Arbeola.

Today’s match
 
So Palace have done us again with senior players missing. We cannot play this high press game - Andersen too slow - Leno exposed (although he has had three poor games). If this system continues we will be relegated - we are being picked off. Either Arbeloa changes approach or he will be out after 10 games. This is going to be a long, hard season

The outcome of this gamble obvious
 
So the gamble with under 16 manager, poor Madrid signings and played 3 lost three was predictable. What’s worst we have played 2 poor teams Palace and Sunderland. Goals against 7 and today all 3 goals for Palace scored by full backs. Come on guys this is a real joke and Khans signings with this clueless novice manager is no surprise. Fighting relegation from Herron.

Prediction
 
Neither managers would want to lose today. Not because of this game but to lose 3 in a row at the beginning of the season for a new manager will not go down well and could spiral. So, I am guessing it will be a draw! I would like a win but if the risk is we don’t take any points, I’d take one this time. Then we can build on that.

Depends which manager has best tactics,this will be a game of whose subs fit in best ,seems pretty even so lets get lucky, or just muller them, draw seems the safe way, how ever we aint got time to play safe stagnation set in very fast when you are in bottom three. coyw

Comparitive Perspectives?
 
Just read on FFC news website about 'Jacksonville Jags stadium upgrade' with planned costs of over $1bn.. Then looking further into the 'Jaguars' teams and players contracts, was surprised to find that as little as 3-4 random players salary's totally eclipsed FFC's annual squad expenditure.. Totally gobsmacked to realise that in my playing career from age 14-26, I'd been kicking the wrong shape ball about? But grateful to 'Khan Snr' who has transformed our ground into what we have today? Maybe we're not so much the poor relation after all ?

No,' WE' are not poor at all. And the great news is that each time we attend our beloved Craven Cottage we are getting richer by 100 quid on average each of us. I don't know what i am gonna do with all my cash, maybe fly out to Jacksonville and watch some footsoccer.
