Football Insider recently revealed that Fulham have registered their interest in Raheem Sterling after his contract was terminated at Chelsea last week.
West Ham and Crystal Palace are also keen on the idea of signing the 31-year-old, and are prepared to offer him the chance to join up with their squads outside the transfer window, given that he is now a free agent.
Marco Silva’s Fulham have their eyes on bringing the former England international to Craven Cottage, but they are also set to face competition from abroad, with the likes of Napoli and Union Berlin being linked.
Sterling has also been tipped to attract interest from clubs in both the MLS and Saudi Arabia, as it has quickly become clear that he will have no shortage of potential suitors.
Fulham will need to ensure that they table an attractive offer if they want to win the race for his signature, given the wealth of options that the wideman has in front of him.

Just seen this news. I didn't know properly that we could pursue this move outside the window but apparently a free transfer and a free agent is anybody's and up for grabs. Apparently, we were pushing hard to get Pepi over the line and offering insane money that included a buy to loan deal that would have seen Pepi stay at PSV until the summer. That deal wasn't worth it in my opinion. The didn't have a replacement for Pepi but the galling thing around Pepi staying at PSV is that his value may have increaced throughout the summer and we would have to pay more for him. Something might be happening around Sterling and we will soon know a lot more. It looks like the interest in Raheem Sterling has come about because we couldn't get Pepi over the line.

I know, but if I don’t at least try to p someone off here I feel like I’m wasting my day. There’s a biblical quote for every occasion. Think Proverbs 26 11 covers the Sterling situation nicely. Somebody below said he was good around the youngsters at Chelsea. By that logic we should see if Huw Edward’s is free.

Sterling
if we can get him we should grab him.

Owen we won’t have to pay more as we have a pre-contract arrangement for the fee and personal terms so no need to panic ;0)

Ipi, don’t see the point he’s no Willian in his Indian summer. He hasn’t played for the best part of a year.

As long he is willing to accept the Fulham wage structure. He has not shown much in the last two years, there again these days a 31 year old should be good for four years if he can get physically and match fit quickly he could be a good asset.

So he has to select a team if he wants to play football again this season. Unless an arab club come along with a silly offer I would assume hes not in condition to demand his terms.

Premier League clubs have to register their new squad for the final part of the league campaign by Thursday February 5.
That is significant for any players who are free agents once the window closes, with the likes of Raheem Sterling still looking for a club.
Unless they move abroad, they must have a club by today otherwise they will not be able to register to play in Premier League games for the remainder of the season.
The only exception is if a club does not use all their 25 spaces when they register their squad on February 5. They can then add free agents up until the fourth Thursday in March.
We will know soon enough if Raheem Sterling is joining us or not. Not sure what time the deadline today is?

We only have 24 players in our squad plenty of spare capacity for free transfers an young players.

If any club registered less than the 25 and leaves spaces you can fill them with free agents. Fulham only registered 24 last season. Not that I really want Sterling we have four good wingers. And why waste money on his wages getting him fit, he won’t be ready for premiership and looked unfit on loan at Arsenal. Sad I used to like him, but don’t think he’s good enough for Fulham now
