A couple were going out together, but she was a rank Labour supporter, and he was a rank Conservative. They decided to get married, promising not to talk about politics, and they were happy for a few years, until one morning the wife throws down the newspaper and says "Look what this Tory government has done now" and there was a big row. In bed after a couple of nights, the wife turns around to her husband and says, "The Labour member wishes to inform the Conservative member, that there has been a split in her constituency and if the Conservative member wishes to stand, he has a very good chance of getting in. The husbands reply was "The Conservative member has already stood several times, and has already forfeited his deposit"

Even with my very limited tactical awareness I understand that the purpose of playing out from the back and stringing an endless number of passes together is to draw the opposition forward and out of position so we can then exploit the space and get the ball through to Mitro. All very fine albeit tedious to watch. It becomes ridiculous however when, as happened a few times on Wednesday, Rodak gets possession from a corner or a cross, looks up to see most of the opposition in our half, acres of space in front of AK, Reid or Odoi and instead of pumping into that space to maybe catch them on the break, holds the ball, allows them to re group and then rolls the ball out to Ream who looks around for a few minutes then passes it back to him. We then spend ages trying to stretch them out of the shape we allowed to create. It seems to me that Parker has decided to tie himself this policy without appearing to understand its purpose so even when we don’t need to draw the opposition forward we continue to play as though we did. We need to be able to improvise a bit more and be less predictable, not sure Parker can do that.

Old Bloke, although I hesitate in referring to you as that, you have summed up current tactics perfectly. I think you need to email this post to the club immediately and copy in SP. Nice one :))))

Think I was watching a different game on Wednesday !..yes there was passing along the back line etc ..but there was also a number of balls floated forward from Hector bypassing midfield ..which is great but always favours the defending team ..because the attacking side is always outnumbered ...a number of times the swansea goalkeeper pumped the ball forward and we regained possession....

It's very frustrating to watch this deliberate and slow build up from the back, which very prone to breakdown especially against those high press teams. We've all witnessed this many times this season where we've created our own problems when playing out from the back like OB says. There are times when players need to use something called a brain to make proactive decisions. I would like to think that our players are capable of making good footballing decisions but it seems not and they are more scared of the wroth of Parker, than cocking up bigtime.

He has earned a run of games in the starting XI. He has shown a much better work rate and passing ability this season - and he was good enough to start at Wembley two years ago. Knockaert’s crosses have been poor most of the time, so not losing much.

I suspect Parker will make Just one change tomorrow. Kamara for Knockhart. While I did think Reid played well and mostly invisible, it allowed Cairney to play no.8 and more deeper - and he was awesome! we have to keep that formation. Preston will hold the ball better than Swansea so will be interesting to see if Cairney can still dominate.

First of all, I am a fan of AK47. I think he is a raw talent but he is most certainly not a 90minute performer and he proves that every time he is given 90mins. He is a defensive liability and would struggle to keep the teams shape for a whole match. He is best used against tired legs. An amazing impact sub as he is fast, strong and direct. Imagine being a tired defender chasing Fulham’s passing for 80minutes then having to keep up with AK and avoid giving pens away. A real handful. There is no way he should be starting in my opinion but should be given 15-20 at the end of every game. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Goal last night, I can’t wait for the Preston game. Suddenly I feel we will have a great game and score a few goals! Amazing what a late winning goal does to you - I hope the players feel the same and eager to continue where they left off last night! ! Coyw

The only thing that concerns me is that we are a team that scores more than our opponents do - and win. When and how we score is irrevant, but full marks to Mitrovic for keep going after seeing his penalty saved. Draws are no good for any, but best if the going gets tough in an away fixture. Nil - Nil draws can witness great football skills, but real fans come to see goals. See that Harvey Elliott is being offered a new three years deal on Merseyside. What about paying Fulham FC for his services in the first place you tight wad scoucers. What he hell has happened to Ryan Sessegon? He seems long gone at Spurs. Maybe we should resign him on loan next season and Patrick Roberts who career at City seems to have stalled.

As we start the run in to the seasons end which of the loanees have proved their worth and should stay and which, if any, should be returned to their parent club? Don't rant about how they're all brilliant and it's somehow Parker's fault. Try and answer the question.

IC and BDR we have all ready signed like HR but been Injured a long time depends how he plays when fit . Didn’t see enough of TK before ruled out for season. Like HA need some one with bite but also been injured have to be cheap. Not sure about Knockaert would not pay top bucks like his work rate

Probably not what most people think - we don’t have may loanees. Knockhart - NO. Arter - probably NO. injured defender from huddersfield - MAYBE as he was good at premier level. Reed (from Southampton) - MAYBE but unlike solid sidwell - too injury prone.

During the January t/window, I thought Fulham should sign two of the loan players on permanent deals, Reed and Reid. Two of the others Cavaleiro and Arter were maybes, Knockaert a definite no. FFC signed Reid and Cavaleiro for silly money which is questionable, considering they were not wanted by their parent clubs. I hope Harrison Reed will be signed in the summer.

Having watched the loan players on many my person opinions are Arter 31 next birthday a touch of nepotism ? defiantly not one to sign permanently. Knockart to erratic,i feel there are better wingers out there.Reed, another who does not do it for me. Konjolo have not seen him enough but a bit injury prone. Conclusion there are better players who would suit us much better so I would not retain any of them.

Entertaining game and Swansea played their part . We had more chances , but they missed three easy opportunities . TC had one of his best games for ages , Odoi looked sharp , Joe B good going forward ,Ream had many good moments Mitro never gave up despite frustrating evening and his winning goal was class . Of course there is always room for improvement . Hector seems to have 10 minutes in his last 4 games when he switches off - several misplaced passes and tackles . Knockhart and Cav flatter to deceive , so much skill but so little end product- and if they persists with long corners put someone good at volleying beyond the far post . . AK and Kebano deserve to start on Saturday . But overall delighted with gutsy performance and overall style of play .
Replies
I agree mostly with your post, but playing both Kabano and AK in a starting 11 you risk the same as you get with Cav and Knock playing together. I would start Kabano for Cavaleiro and I would find a place for either Mac or Stef and drop Knockaert. May be give a Stansfield a start,( just hoping) but that will be too adventurous for Parker.

Cavaleiro is a clever and a classy player and besides, he is our player now. This is my argument for experienced people to tweak these players and decide who plays with who. I think Kabano and Cavaleiro combined could work out well on the pitch. Give Kabano a start Saturday because he can make things happen. Parker needs to try out these combinations because we are finding it hard to break teams down and things sure ain't gonna get any better. Teams have noted the way how we like to play so we need to be a bit cuter. Knockheart is over-used in a Fulham shirt and he tries too hard and sadly he has no luck on his side. You guys have got to remember that our players are made up of so many different countries and it will take a little more time to gell them and get them playing in cohesion with each other. Knockheart is like marmite and you just don't know what next from him.

So, so negative. Case in point here: "Good game, good result but hopefully Parker has learned something over the last few games because, even to make the play-offs, we need to be winning more games at home than we are right now." The word should be AND. "...good result AND hopefully Parker has learned..." a simple change yet so important.

In fairness to MST I would say that in the context of his post he's 100% correct - we do need to win more games at home. I don't think he's being negative but simply stating what is patently obvious. Win at home draw away always used to be the mantra for promotion.

I was so lucky last night, as I was just going to leave after Mitro's penalty miss, as I thought that we would never score, but the chap who sits next to me said, hold on the games not over yet, so against my better judgement I stayed, and was I pleased that I did. What a finish, although it looked like we got away without conceding a penalty, but it was hard to see from our end. Looking at the table, it does know look that we will at least keep a top 6 place, as the team in 7th would have to have a really good run to pass us, as every time from now on, we win a game, they would have to win four, so it looks like 72 points will do for a play off position, so a lot to look forward to.

Agree that was a big plus, we need that sort of work rate in every game from now on. Minus points were poor finishing, and for goodness sake get the set pieces sorted, they didn't even know who was going to take the corners! So, another cross into the box and Mirto on the end of it. Hmmm, perhaps that tells us something.

Parker has to stop playing through the middle and start utilising Knockaert and Cavelero in their natural outside left and right (repsectively) positions. Having them play on the opposite sides and cutting in is just not working and Kamara's two crosses to Mitro in the middle that delivered goals recently proves it once and for all.

We have pace to burn in our squad and should be hitting teams on the break exactly like last night and this sideways and backwards pasing all over the pitch will get us nowhere but the play-offs (if we are lucky).

Overall, I thought last night's game was very entertaining and we were much more direct with our play in the first half but just could not hit the target. We never seem to be able to score from corners and set pieces so that obviously needs work on the training ground.

Good game, good result but hopefully Parker has learned something over the last few games because, even to make the play-offs, we need to be winning more games at home than we are right now.

Replies
As you say the set pieces were awful. Knockaert is terrible. a headless chicken charging all over the place and achieving nothing. That pathetic jump for header which sailed several feet over his head and made everyone around me burst into laughter. He missed his vocation and should have been a clown. Come Saturday, Parker will revert to his tried and trusted negative crap. Playing both Cav and Knock, which most know doesn't work, but does he?

I think you should give Knockaert some credit he works hard for the team when we lose possession, his final ball was not the best last night but that could be said about one or two of the players, also I think credit should be given to Swansea they defended very well last night and we had to work very hard to beat them.it is great to have Kamara in the squad with his pace to bring on late in games.a good game and three hard earned points let’s move on to Saturday get behind the team .

So what are people’s thoughts on what do we need to do to score more than one goal? Is there a simple answer.
Replies
My view is that Fulham must have better set price moves. During the Swansea game you may have seen confusion among the players, who was to take the throws. Who was taking the corners. Definitely take Metro off penalties. Players are often taking their eyeps off the ball, I lost count of how many times I saw Keirny walkimg away from set play with his back to the ball. Denis Odoi is wasted at the back, he should be central midfield. More crosses from the wings instead of trying to play like Manchester City. Mitro must press and close down the goalkeeper and defenders more, he often strolls around and has a low work rate. We potentially have a very good team for the Championship but agree we must score more goals. I would like to see us with two or three youth players to now come in to the team, particularly a big tall centre forward to replace my old mate Mitro.

Don't get me wrong i am happy with our win, but we do make a shift difficult because of various reasons tonight. First of, how many corners do we need to put one away? Yet again, 'Knockheart' our appointed corner taker is pants at taking them. We sometimes go through whole games with as much as a few corners won, but tonight i think there was more than 12 corners? We stepped up on tempo and we should be happy with our pace etc, we didn't tire or show signs of fatigue which is better. Knockheart should have been the first player subbed in my opinion. His timing on corners is shocking and corner after corner he delivered very little. Funny how it takes the so called clown of the group Kamara to deliver a fine pointed assist for Mitrovic to latch on to. Last week we could not deliver so much as a love note to Mitro in the box and this week it was just the same problem, albeit knockheart over-doing it. Parker well done for putting Kabano on and he should get more game-time. Kabano and Cavaliero is a better combo on the pitch if only Parker can try that one. Bobby Reid needs to do more also, he could have been subbed instead of Cavalleiro. This is all down to experience and Parker has not got much of that. Arguably, a proper manager could have tweaked this Fulham side and gotten much more from playing Swansea tonight. We have not blown any team away in a long time and fans must agree that a game like this tonight against Swansea where we had the bulk of the posession, we really should blow teams away. Especially with 12 to 15 corners won. Just saying. Still not convinced about Scott Parker but a win is a win. We move on to the next game...

Let me try and understand this: Knockhaert was crap, Cavallerio was crap and Bobby Reid was crap but it's all Parkers fault. Nothing to do with our habit of importing players that their parent clubs no longer consider worth keeping or who, medically speaking, would be more suitable in the Invictus games?
posted by The Arizonan - Wednesday 26th February 2020, 11:14 PM

Knockheart should not be taking corners, how many corners wasted? Cavaliero might have been kept on and maybe is a better combination with Kabano, just my opinion. Out of the 3, Knockheart and Bobby Reid should have been subbed earlier. Cavaleiro could and should score more goals but out of the 3, he as a touch of class. Just my opinion again. It is Parkers fault because he subs at the wrong time and arguably, he subs wrongly sometimes. Arizonan' would a more experienced manager get more out of this Fulham team? I think yes!!! This Fulham side is still underperforming!!!

Yes, a more experienced manager would get more in all probability, but Parker is the one we've got and believe me he aint going anywhere. But same question I posted below, and given your comments, which loanees should stay and which should get an RTU?

How good to see Cauley doing do well with 15 goals. A few of us considered him to have potential but Fulham were not prepared to give him time and bring the lad along slowly. He was thrown it the deep end, loaned out and whoever was responsible for giving him away for peanuts. No doubt Barnsley will make a very handsome profit when they sell him. Shame on Parker and or Khan for getting rid of him and on the posters who scoffed when I suggested he needed to be given time. Sometimes I wonder if some posters have any idea or knowledge of footballing ability.

We can and should be creating many more chances than we have been doing. With the likes of Cavaliero, Knockheart, and Bobby Reid. If we stop playing Parker-like crab football and put more direct balls into Mitrovic, we should be able to create much more danger at least. There is no rhyme or reason why we cannot do the basics and simplest of tasks, and that is to fizz more balls into our penalty box for Mitrovic to do what he does best. If we play tippy tappy football in around our penalty area and build too slowly, it will only allow Swansea all the time in the world to get men behind the ball and snuff out our limp wristed attacks. If Scott Parker doesn't get the gist of it now, a P45 should be handed to him promptly! More teams in the Championships seem to have us sussed, but we can changed some small details within our team. It is no coincidence that the likes of Tom Cairney's progression is minimal under the Parkers regime and more so than Jokanovic's time here. These are small details we can work on quickly! We look out of sight to West-Brom, but we are still 3rd. My message to Scott Parker, is to keep it simple and use the untapped talent within our squad to maintain progress. Derby did it constantly in 2nd half recently, and that is to supply more balls into our penalty box that can see Mitro hhave more chances on goal. We have the players to do it, so let's start doing it now! It's all so very basic and simple really...

Is the price Lyon have whacked on Dembele. And we saw £250k as the payout for losing him for ‘free’. Can’t beleive there is no protection for clubs like us in this situation. Would be nice if there was some sort of mandatory future percentage clause. Having said that, it would have come from a Celtic to Lyon transfer. But still, it’s outrageous.

Whilst it is, of course, history, it still rankles and is really not fair. There is no doubt in my mind that this needs to be rectified, in order to ‘level up’ the playing field for smaller clubs

Well I have an opinion too David (whether you like it or not) and my opinion is that it gets dragged up over and over again and its been years since it happened.

He refused to sign a contract; end of story. I couldn't care less what his release clause is and I'd rather concentrate on the present and the future and not keep harping back to the same old moaning about Dembele (and Elliott and why O'Reilly doesn't play either come to that)!!

Elliott also refused to sign a contract and he is a big headed little nobody who I'm glad is out of our club to be honest. Too much to say for himself as a teenager who, in my opinion, will get his come uppance one day.

Matt O'Reilly clearly isn't the player that some think he is otherwise he would have had his chance with other coaches as well as Parker and as no club has come in for him we must assume that, as it stands right now, there is not too much to write home about the lad.

None of this will chanhe my life or the future of Fulham Football Club so as I wrote "get over it"!

posted by MST (Moderator) - Tuesday 25th February 2020, 2:36 PM

Well thanks for actually expanding. I get you have an opinion but just because you think it is old news, doesn't mean others can't discuss it. Anyway, I'm surprised there's no 10% sell on fee, or something similar. It should be mandatory for young players/academy players who run down their contracts.

OWEN - Does seem crazy. But, read a really good article recently about how he is so desirable in English football but doesn't stand a chance in the France set up. The guy is an ideal english centre forward, he has all the attributes to succeed in the premier league. Therefore, there's going to be a bidding war amongst the biggest clubs who are all so desperate to find their number one striker at the moment. only a couple of the big 6 seem content with their man up top.

I gave up watching boxing when Don King had Mike Tyson parading around the ring in a dress up King's outfit. Tyson was an animal in the ring and seeing him belittled (IMHO) was the last straw for me.

I think many people are underestimating Joshua at the moment because he lost to Ruiz and won his belts back from a sack of lard. AJ however, has learned his lesson I believe and will not be as open as Wilder was Saturday night and will certainly not keep coming forward without protecting his chin. Wilder looked knackered from the off and I've seen him fight much better than against Fury.

Fury (although I don't like him particularly) is a master tactician and can change from south paw to orthadox at the drop of a hat. He is an enigma to most boxers who never know how to set up against him. Remember, he is still unbeaten and should have been given the first fight against Wilder as well.

I don't expect AJ v Fury to be a punch fest to be honest because Fury is still a little wary of him BUT I do expect Fury to wear AJ down and win inside 10 rounds with a stoppage.

If I'm being honest though I still don't think it is nailed on that the the fight will take place for some time (if at all). Joshua has his mandatory fight against the Russian and Wilder has an option for a re-match against Fury which will make him another $30m after which the winner will have a mandatory fight as well so it definitely won't be this year in my opinion.

As we've just had a big heavyweight battle, anyone remember on the old steam radio boxing commentaries by Eamonn Adrews with inter round summaries by Barrington Dalby. No pay for view in them days lads ! And before anyone start moaning that this is a football site. I KNOW it is Time for all that after the next match!

Great days Dave, even remember going to Kilburn High Road to watch most of Ali's fights at the cinema as a kid.... In the gentle art of bowls I knew an England skip who took up kick boxing to focus the mind maybe some of our players need to do the same!

Remember the clowns well. When Turpin fought Sugar Ray Robinson they were giving every round to Robinson and then it transpired Turpin was a clear winner. The fight took place at Earls Court, very near West Brompton station. I believe there was such an uproar over their commentary they disappeared from the scene shortly afterwards

Looking at the three teams likely to be relegated from the Premier League this season, Norwich, West Ham Aston Villa, or even Watford, if we miss out on promotion this season, will we might find even more difficult next season to win an automatic position, or even a play off chance, as apart from Norwich, who we always seem to beat, we always have trouble with both Watford, and Villa and especially West Ham, if they come down, and bearing in mind we will most likely be losing Mitro, Cairney, Hector, Knockaert to name just four, so it could be a case of miss out this season, and it could be many years before we would be in a position to challenge again. So Scott Parker please go for an all out attack, with no more sideways and backwards boring football, so it's win or bust.

How are Wolves doing it in this prem, i don't know how but they are rocking it. To win 4.0 in Europe this week and then to deliver a 3.0 thrashing to Norwich is exceptional. I would have expected Norwich to come out fighting and expecting a result somehow, knowing that Wolves may have been a touch battle-worn from their exploits. The writing is on the wall for Norwich after that result me-thinks and they will be back with us in no time. What a contrast there is between both teams that were not long ago competing with each other in this league. Wolves have certainly evolved and gotten better, and for them this is a fairy-tale story for them and a midlands club that have progressed and beyond. We at Fulham are not in the same mode as Wolves just yet and it is going to take a little more time to get there. Scott Parker was happy with the result of our match against Derby and i suppose we didn't lose which is Okay but, there is a but. Derby really should have beaten us hands down, especially with all those chances fizzing through our penalty box. It was fortunate for us that no one from Derby latched on to one of those. After the beating we gave them back at the Cottage late last year, it would be nice to see some steady progress and more consistency. What is also worrying is when we win, we don't seem to be able to blow teams away going on to the next week. My other main worry is that Parker needs to gel this Fulham squad to cut through defenses better and quicker and it just isn't happening. There are too many bits of the puzzle and some untapped talent we havn't used yet. Kabano has not featured in any game for more than 10 minutes and O' Reily and others are an unknown quantity moving forward. Playoffs looks like the best we can hope for more than ever now, and i don't fancy the heartache of another one. They say that playoffs and chances are equaled out and we have had our share of that. Most other teams around the top 6 have settled squads and formations and tactics that works and they will stick to. We have the goals and saving grace of Mitrovic but we can't seem to make more use of Cavaleiro and Knockheart and Bobby Reid. What would other teams do with these guys? A lot more than we can i imagine. There is an acceptance that we need another season and Parker needs more time to learn is trade. This all sounds okay and hunkey-dorey, and i guess that a loss in the playoffs will be accepted. If we win through the playoffs, it will be a bonus, if we lose there is next season to look forward to with most of this squad tied up already. If this is Khans plan then so beit! We march on to next season with Scott Parker in charge and tactics up to speed and Fulham ready to go! I can't wait for next season already...

Just read Mr Parker,s view on the match. He was satisfied on the whole with the result and the team showed character and, in the main, dominated possession and had chances to win the game. This appears to be different from most of the accounts that I have read on this site so it appears our posters are mistaken in theirs comments. Long may Mr Parker continue in his quest to build a team full of fight and character.

Our team of under 18s sits at the top of their league, after today's win at Southampton 3:1 jay Stansfield scoring 2,taking his total to 22 this lad rely is a goal machine. Having watched many matches and training sessions its amazing to watch their work load, and enthusiasm a great credit to their coaches.such a pity parker does not watch them to see how it is done. My tip to watch from this great bunch is Jay stansfield c/f ~ Luca Murphy ~ f/b Damian las g/k ~ Cody Dramar f/b. I would recommend anyone who can get to M/P to watch their matches do so,a Fulham side to be proud of.

Love the youth report Kunye! Keep it coming. Hope to see these lads on the senior squad sooner rather than later. We have one of the best academies in England and have for a while now. Shame the Khans don’t know what to do with it. BTW Have we gotten our money from Liverpool yet? Gonna need it to stave off FFP trouble if we don’t go up.

All very well having the best academy in England, but we are simply developing players who will jump ship at the first opportunity. If they make it to the senior squad, we will not get any long term benefit (apart from a minimal transfer fee). Close the academy down and use the savings to buy experienced players who are not going to be poached

Whether you want Parker in or out. One thing for sure he does appear to have the players behind him. Watching Rams News they pointed out that Huddersfield gave tham a much harder competitive game! Cocu was surprised at the lack of service to the best striker in the Championship. All points to our Managers decision making!

Well most of us thought that we would slip down to 5th, after this afternoon's matches, but lo and behold by some miracle we are still 3rd. We are playing boring boring football, under a clueless manager, and we are still in the running for a play off spot, so I ask myself, how bad are the teams in the Championship this season, and I think that they must pretty poor, if we are still in with a shout. Leeds just scraped home today, Notts Forest couldn't even beat QPR, Brentford just managed a point and only Preston made any ground really and they are away to both WBA and us, in their next two matches, so who will go up is anyone's guess, but it does look like both WBA and Leeds are set fair for the autos, and the other five, us included, are playing for a date at Wembley, which none of us really deserve.

Very good summary. It certainly isn't a landmark year for the Championship, other than perhaps West Brom, but we're playing a boring style, show no pace or consistancy and yet we're still there.

We tend to do well against good sides and lose to the rubbish teams. I'm not so worried if Parker can get the midfield going (perferably forward) but he hasn't got the weapons, neither has he got anyone to feed off Motrovic. Cavellero and Knockhaert wandering about like Jews in the Desert and the midfield struggling to catch up. Remember the roll Ryan Sessegnon played when he wasn't pretending to be a full back? And the goals that came from it?

We have had so much luck this season! we started the season badly but none of the teams ran away with the league. Then West Brom and Leeds ran away but as we started pulling a few results together, they collapsed like a pack of cards. Recently we had a few bad games but apart from West Brom none of our rivals are taking advantage!! I put the luck to Parker! We question he’s ability as a manager but he certainly is a lucky one!! Sometimes luck is all you need....and we have a bagful this season! Just hope it doesn’t run out before the season end....

It looks like more than ever that we will need to compete in the playoffs judging on todays results for Leeds and West Brom. Somehow i can't see Scott Parkers lucky streak continuing. Not saying we aren't capable of winning another playoff, we certainly have the talent to do it, but we will see if and when....

It doesn't take a genius to see what we do wrong week in and week out at Fulham. Don Goodman rightly pointed out some basic mistakes in our game which Scott Parker and Stuart Gray can't seem to iron out in this Fulham team. How many times do we see a 2 and 3 man passing move going forward, for then a player passing backwards the moment a forward makes runs? This happens week in and week out and sorry to say this, but these are basics we should be getting right now. We give Scott Parker the benefit of the doubt every week and we see not much progress. We scrape a win one week but not really tanking the opposition and we get the usual 'i told you Parker is good' by the Scott Parker forever love brigade. Then we lose and we get the other side. The experts say Derby draw and take points of Fulham who everyone assumes that they will push on and get closer to Leeds and WBA. We don't think that we have a good enough squad to hold our own if we get promotion so where do we go from here? Every other tom dick and harry think that wehave the best squad in this division and i personally think that they are not that far of thinking that! AK- Kamara is useless apparently, but he was good enough to scor a brace against QPR when Mitrovic was out. Could it be that Scott Parker is finding it hard to come up with different team selections, formations, and tactics to deal with different scenarios and other team dynamics? I argue that there are better and more experienced managers out there that can tweek and get much better results from this Fulham side. Tom Cairney expected us to respond and have a positive reaction against Derby but it didn't happen yet again why was that? Fulham got shot of Sturt Gray around Slavisa once, and now we can see why that was in my opinion. We need to start taking more 'Risks; on and off the field! Too risky to get a manager in with so many games left? Can we get the ball into a bored Mitrovic and put in more balls to him etc? Derby did that in the 2nd half last night and look at the results? We were very lucky to come away with a draw. As usual we will have the Parker love crew who will say that a draw was a good result. What else can we do? Let's pick on the Chairman for lumping us with Kamara and some of the other useless lumps we call footballers. 3rd place in the table 'Owen' why am i moaning??? I don't know because i have lost the plot! Rant over!!!!!!

Hardly think it's worth " picking on the chairman", he appears quite happy with how things are.

"The Chairman", of course, is not the Director of Football. Another wayward arrow.
