Fulham boss Jean Tigana has received a come and get me call
from Sergei Rebrov who has urged Tigana to make him Fulham's new goal machine.
The Craven Cottage chief is desperate to sign a striker after the collapse
of his £8million move for Valencia hitman John Carew.
And Tottenham's £11m misfit insists he is the man to end Tigana's
quest for a solution to his side's lack of goals.
Tigana has failed in bids to sign Czech colossus Jan Koller, England
striker Andy Cole, Arsenal forward Kanu and West Ham hitman Freddie Kanoute.

But Rebrov, 27, insists that Tigana wants to sign him — and that he
would love to work under the Frenchman. Italian giants Lazio are also interested
in nabbing Rebrov.
But the Ukrainian insists his family are settled in London and that he
does not want to leave the capital.
Rebrov said: "When I stopped being a starting player at Spurs, Tigana
became interested in me.
"I think Jean Tigana can build a strong team. I'd like to play under
his guidance.
"Many say that Barcelona or Lazio would be better for me but it's
not that easy.
"I know that I would be playing in the first team if I went to Fulham
— they would want me for that reason.
"Spurs have no reason to keep me on the bench. I see their attitude
to me and I understand that I won't be playing any more.
"I understand that Spurs are ready to sell me — it's probably
all about the price."
Tottenham director of football David Pleat admits that the club would
be willing to accept offers for Rebrov.
Pleat said: "Although a player might not be on the transfer list
at any time, indirectly they have a price and if we were to receive the
right offer for a player then it would be accepted.
"Sergei has found it difficult to win a regular place this season."
