Fulham cruised past a lackluster Norwich to set up a tie with Sheffield United in the next round.

Darren Bent opened the scoring in the 16th minute after Ashkan Dejagah cleverly dummied Pajtim Kasami's cross, leaving the England forward to take advantage and put the home side ahead.

Norwich were looking uninterested and their defence was completely absent as Dejagah made it 2-0 four minutes before half time.

The Iranian tucked home following Alex Kacaniklic's square ball and it already looked like game over.

The Canaries had more possession in the second 45 but never really looked like scoring.

Steve Sidwell ended the contest with 22 minutes to play after he showed the most desire, rising to head past a stranded Mark Bunn in the Norwich goal.

The Fulham bench, and particular Ray Wilkins were delighted with their side's efforts but the away team's performance left a lot to be desired.

Chris Hughton will have more questions to answer after this meek performance against a struggling Fulham side.
