Fulham (0) 2-2 (2) Norwich

Fulham striker Chris Martin inspired a superb second-half comeback to rescue a point for Fulham after team-mate Scott Malone had conceded two penalties.

The Whites trailed 2-0 at half-time as Graham Dorrans converted spot-kicks following fouls by left-back Malone on Jacob Murphy and Cameron Jerome.

But Fulham were much brighter after the break and pulled one back when Martin’s shot went in off Stefan Johansen, the midfielder credited with his first goal for the club.

And ex-Norwich striker Martin levelled on 66 minutes as he latched on to Johansen’s pass before coolly beating Canaries keeper Michael McGovern.

The goals will have come as a relief not only to Fulham and boss Slavisa Jokanovic, but also to Malone, whose transgressions had put his side in trouble at the interval.

He brought down Jacob Murphy on 16 minutes, allowing Dorrans to open the scoring, and was later adjudged to have pulled Cameron Jerome to the ground, although Fulham hotly contested that decision.

Norwich had been the better side in the first half but Fulham improved dramatically in the second and issued an early warning to the visitors when Johansen fired a free-kick just off target.

Minutes later, Martin worked space for a shot which hit Johansen and found the corner and the pair combined again for the equaliser, Johansen threading a ball into Martin, who slotted in.

Norwich almost hit back through Alexander Tettey, but his firm drive was kept out by Whites keeper David Button.
